Kim Sunoo, The Stunning

A remarkable person, indeed. Sunoo never ceased to not impress vampires around him. He also was one of the few of his kind who easily could pass as human, an innate power of his. Or is it really a power he possessed ? 

From the beginning...

Sunoo sat in his room. He often kept to himself & rarely hunted with his family. His only true friend Soohyeon was a witch. He was reading when he sensed something odd, but entirely familiar. "수현아, 모습을 보여 주세요. 네가 여기 있는 거 알아요."(Show yourself, Soohyeon. I know you're here.) In truth, she was astral projecting into his room. Like she regularly would. "You ? Reading ? Is this real ?" 

He smirked, "What is it ? You don't usually astral project at this time."  Soohyeon knew she could lie, but it would be no use. "I worry that this rising issue with the vampires will end in death. There are already reports of a few vampires deliberately forcing others into the sunlight..." Sunoo sat his book aside. Attention now completely on his dearest friend.

"제가 어떻게 하면 좋을까요? 우리 가족은 혼자 있고 낮에는 절대 외출하지 않아요."(What would you have me do ? My family keep to ourselves & never go out during the day.)  Soohyeon wanted to give Sunoo the chance to truly survive. A gift that many vampires would only wish to have. "As soon as the sun sets I need you to meet in in the woods, Sunoo. Don't waver."

A few hours had passed before the sun began to set. Sunoo snuck out of his house to the woods. Soohyeon immediately hugged him & sat him down. Sunoo could tell from the candles that she was going to do a spell of some kind. He was accustomed to seeing her practice magic & spells in  her free time.  

The spell was very powerful. It took all of Soohyeon' energy to perform the spell. When Sunoo opened his eyes the sun was beginning to rise. There wasn't any shade in sight & it honestly terrified him that he could burn. Soohyeon was long gone, so he was completely alone.

He was prepared to burn, but all he felt was a comforting warmth. The sun didn't burn him anymore. He was the first of his kind. A vampire that could walk in the sunlight.
