FIVE YEARS LATER :

                              THEY SAY NOTHING LASTS FOREVER,

                               WE'LL HAVE TO PROVE THEM WRONG...

"Sanskriti!" Ragini rolls her eyes at a small girl who has chocolate smeared all over her face. The girl pouts at her, "Papa" she blinks her eyes and turns towards a sleeping Sanskar. Ragini holds her head and stares at an oblivious Sanskar sleeping on the bed his arms covered protectively around his daughter.

"SANSKAR!"

Sanskar gets up with a jerk making Sanskriti afraid, tears start brimming her eyes and Ragini shakes her head. "Ragini, you scared her" Sanskar complains pulling Sanskriti into his embrace, "Shh... Papa is here princess."

He caresses little Sanskriti's hair and kisses her, "Bad Mumma" Sansksriti complains with a pout. Ragini frowns, "You both mess up with my room and call me bad?" Ragini points at herself, "Eat more chocolates and when your tummy starts paining call this Mumma, I won't come only this time. I'm fed up with you both, better clean this mess before dinner or no ice cream for you both tonight" she leaves from there.

"See I told you no more chocolates now Papa is in trouble" Sanskar murmurs getting up from bed and starts picking the wrappers, "You'll get ice cream from everyone but what about me?" he makes puppy eyes.

Sanskriti kneels on the bed and holds her ears, "Sawwy Papa" she gets down of bed and joins him, "Kwiti will help Papa and then Papa wi aso get ice cream" she holds his face and nods at him.

Sanskar shook his head with a smile as he nudges his little daughter, "Papa's little princess is so cute."

"Even mo then Lishi?" she widens her eyes and he chuckles pulling her into an embrace, "Even more then Rishi my princess." 

"Bhuk lagi hain Khaana do, Bhuk lagi hain Khaana do" a little boy starts banging on the dining table and everyone come out of their respective rooms. 

"Looks like little kumbakaran has come back from the garden" Pari smirks bringing the food to the dining table followed by her are Annapurna and Swara. "Maasi Maa" the boy pouts at Swara and caresses his stomach. Swara shakes her head and walks towards him, "Baby boy, let bade daddu and chote daddu come then we'll all have food together, okay?" 

The boy frowns, "But rats are running" he looks down at his tummy and Sujatha shrieks, "Rats? Where? How? Oh no Jiji I told you we should have called the pest control before our house becomes a zoo."

Sanskar come there holding Sanskriti in his arms, "Offo Choti Dadi Lishi means he is hungwy hai na Papa?" Sanskar nods with a smile.

Sanskriti spreads her arms towards a smiling Durgaprasad who smiles and takes her in his arms, "Look what Lucky brought for his princess" Laksh spreads his arms in the air showing the big box of chocolates and Sanskriti giggles, "Papa you were wlong Lucky is mo funny then Lishi" Laksh frowns and the others burst out into laughter.

"I'm funny then fine I'll give this full box to Lishi" he mimics her walking down the stairs along with them. 

Sanskriti makes a puppy face, "You are cute Lucky even mo then me and Kwiti luvs u this much" she spreads her hands in the air. 

Lakshya flushes, "Pakka na?"

"Pakka" she nods her head and he hands her the box of chocolates which are snatched by Ragini, "No! She's already had too much of chocolates since morning. Now only I saw the father daughter duo having the chocolates Adarsh bhai bought last night and now this? You all brothers are spoiling her"

"Laksh! No more chocolates from tomorrow okay?"  Lakshya nods at Durgaprasad who takes the box from Ragini's hand, "Today have this from tomorrow Daddu will bring healthy dark chocolates for you."

All the ladies hold their head,

 "Ahhh... " Everyone stare back at Rishi who is clutching on to his stomach. Ragini rushes to his aid, "What happened baby?"

"Rats died" Everyone burst out into laughter, "I told you not to keep him with those drama queens see how dramatic he has become just like them, his buas!" Sanskar states as the others sit in their respective places. 

"Annapurna, any call from the kids?"

"No ji, I was going to ask you to call them. Uttara is pregnant and plus the boys, how will Lavanya handle them alone?" Annapurna exclaims worried.

Laksh smirks, "Maa you should be more worried for Harsh. Dhruv is out on the business trip leaving his best friend to handle alone the havoc."

"Laksh" Swara elbows him, "Lavanya is handling them with so much difficulty,  a little help from Harsh won't kill him" she rolls her eyes at her husband.

"See, little one your mom is always so bossy" Laksh speaks to Swara's tummy making her flush and hit him again. 

"I was wondering why I get so much hiccups daily, my evil twin doesn't leave a second of praising me does he" Lavanya huffs walking down the stairs of the entrance as three boys run to the dining table.

"Bhai!" Sanskriti and Rishi chirp jumping down of their respective seats, Sanskriti runs towards one of the twin boy and hugs him.

"I mished u" she pouts at him as he picks her up, "Aman missed his little princess too" the boy blinks at her. The other boy frowns as Rishi who smiles back at him, "Papa and Chachu are bad they don't let me trouble her whats my fault" he makes puppy eyes.

"Ayu bhai wants to touble me " Sanskriti frown stares at the other twin and he grins, "You ate all our chocolates and no one scolds you because you give them those cute stares and pouts not fair choti!" he crosses his arms near his chest.

Sanskriti gets down of Aman's arms and runs to Ayaan, "Bu I lu u na Ayu Bhai" she smiles at him cutely and he lifts her up. 

"I love you to!" he replies kissing her cheeks and Rishi frowns stomping his foot. "No one loves me only!" he complains and someone lifts him from behind.

"Then who am I my Mr. Chotu Maheshwari?" Lavanya kisses his cheeks making him blush, "Bui, Chote Chachu says u luv Addu moe n not me" he murmurs and she giggles.

"That Idiot Addu? No, I love my little Hero more than anyone and so I brought something for him" he widens his eyes at her, "Fo me??"

Lavanya nods and he forwards his hand to her as if asking for it, "Addu is bringing it go go" she makes him stand down and he runs outside, "Now what happened to your Rats? They became alive so soon?" Ragini calls out and Rishi replies, "Bui did Magic" and vanishes.

Everyone laughs, as the third boy just stares at Ragini who doesn't look at him, "Looks like I damaged a mother son relationship!" Lavanya exclaims biting her lower lip and staring at the duo.

Ragini doesn't say a word, "Sorry na Maa" he pleads and Lavanya stands next to him as the others watch them eagerly, "I can't stay without seeing you for a day and you want to go to that stupid camp. It is for a month and I'm sorry but it's a No from me!"

"But I want to be a cricketer not like dad a boring businessman in future." Laksh frowns, "How will I get a good girlfriend like chote Papa then?" he questions staring at Sanskar who gets up from his seat, "Well, I'm on my sons side, Ragini it's just a month and not forever!" 

"Who knows if next time he asks to go forever?"

Ruhaan runs to her and hugs her tightly, "I won't go away from you never!"

"Promise?"

"Pakka Promise" he smiles at her still not separating, "Did you get the kit for him Lav?" Lavanya nods as the others stare at Ragini confused. 

"Okay, I packed all the stuff just that kit was left and I can't really trust on my husband who just doesn't have any sense of buying clothes for his daughter let alone be the cricket kit"

"Cricket what?" Ruhaan asks bewildered and Ragini bends down to kiss his cheeks, "Going for the cricket summer camp without a Cricket kit will you?" Ruhaan spreads his arms around her neck and hugs her tightly.

"I love you so so much Maa!" Swara pouts, "All love for Maa and what about this Mom?"

Ruhaan runs to hug her, "She gave you permission doesn't mean you become all happy and not take care of yourself there, if you get even a single scratch this Mom would ground you for a month without gadgets and even Maa won't be able to do anything!" 

"Are you bidding him good bye for the last time?" Sanskar smirks.

"No Bhai, she's threatening him, my poor son" Laksh exclaims turning to the twins, "Lucky you two, how did you convince her last summer?"

"Well, Chote Chachu " Aman smiles as Ayaan completes him, "Our Bua's have more brains then you!" Ayaan mocks making Swara giggle.

"Idiot!" Uttara hits Harshad and he stares at her scared, "I told you not to drive so slowly because of you my ice creams got melted" she complains.

Harshad smiles at her, "First you said that driver to not drive because you don't trust him. I had to drive and when I was just on 60 you say drive slow Harshad you have a pregnant women in the car and when I go all 20 you say is drive fast my ice creams will melt?"

"Harshad!" Lavanya threatens him with her eyes, "What? You two sisters are too much yaar" he says as Rishi who is in his arms starts giggling. 

"Addu changed my choco ice cream to Choco shake. Mumma, will bua also beat him like you did to Papa?" he pouts making both his parents blush.

"Don't you think you speak too much nowadays?" Ragini scolds him, "Come lets have dinner before anything more comes out of their tiny mouths" she smiles as Harshad nods.

"Yeah Maa, take care and I'll ask Swara to call you in the morning" Ragini speaks on the phone holding on to her Mangalsutra, "Good night Maa" she disconnects the call and stares at the moon. 

Her lips form a curve as someone hugs her from behind, "I missed you" he whispers to her and she frowns, "We stay together 24 into 7 Sanskar and you still miss me?" she questions turning to face him and he smiles.

"It's not enough, Missing you is my hobby and so I can miss you how much I want" he pouts and she shakes her head. 

"I still remember the first time I ever looked into your eyes and my whole world flipped" Ragini replies closing her eyes as Sanskar leans closer to her locking a strand of hair behind her ear he holds her chin, "Thank you for being my Reason to look forward to the next day" he kisses her forehead. 

Ragini smiles, "You stole my heart Baby but I'll let you keep it" she pouts and he kisses her lips. "I love it when you call me baby" he whispers their lips just inches apart. 

Just then they hear some foot steps, "Maa" Rishi runs to Ragini who pushes Sanskar making him land straight on the floor she mouths him a sorry as Rishi hugs her tightly, "Do you luv Bhai more then me?" he pouts just like his father.

Ragini smiles and nods her head, "Then when Maasi Maa's baby gal comes to stay with us will you luv her more den Kwiti?" 

Ragini chuckles, "Wait a second how do you know Maasi Maa will have a baby girl?"

Rishi scrunches his nose, "Cos Lishi knows evelything Maa" Sanskriti sticks her tongue out at Rishi and frowns when she finds Sanskar sitting down on the floor.

"Papa?" she mouths running to him and caresses his face, "You fell down Papa?" Sanskar nods as Ragini lifts up Rishi and stares at the duo, "Does it hurt Papa?" she questions hims cutely and holds his hand, "Come I'll give you medi" she tries pulling him up and he laughs pulling her into a hug.

"Papa's medi is with you only Princess" he says and she frowns pulling her hands away from him she puts them inside her pajama's pockets. She pulls her hands out and stares at them, then at Sanskar "No Papa I don have the medi" she shook her head.

"You have it Princess" he nods and whispers into her ears something her eyes widen, "Sacchi?"

"Yess Baba, Sacchi" she bends closer to his cheeks and kisses both of them, "Are you fine now?"

"Cheating Papa Cheating!" Rishi sings and Sanskar cocks his brows staring at him, "Maa already gave you that medi and you are asking for it again?"

Ragini flushes so does Sanskar as Sanskriti stares at her Papa and kisses him again, "It's okay Chachu said moe medi will cue u fast, hai na Papa?" Sanskar nods lifting her up.

"I told you daughters are more intelligent then Sons" he murmurs walking towards them as Sanskriti giggles cutely. 

"Shut up and next time close the door before asking for medi" she shook her head as they make their kids sleep on the middle of their bed. 

"So who wants to hear bed time stories?" Sanskar asks grabbing a book from the side table. Rishi quickly turns facing Ragini and closes his eyes making Ragini grin and Sanskar frown at the same time.

"Papa I'm asleep see" he murmurs closing his eyes and snuggling into Ragini who couldn't help but laugh, Sanskar stares at his daughter sleeping next to him, "Sawwy Papa, but bedtime stories are not good for sseep" she mumbles snuggling into him and he keeps back the book.

He tries to open his mouth to question but Ragini starts singing lullaby and the kids drift of to sleep. "I'm not awful or am I?" Sanskar asks to which Ragini shook her head, "Adarsh Bhai and Bhabhi finally seem happy, don't they?"

Sanskar nods, "Aman and Ayaan have mingled so well with all of us, the five just can't stay away from each other." 

Ragini nods, "It's been three years now and all I hear is they are the future heir of Maheshwari's. I really feel proud of bhai and Bhabhi adopting them was the best decision" she says caressing Rishi's hair.

Sanskar nods, "Even better decision then I made of marrying you?" Ragini nods, "But it's okay, I still love you" she chuckles and he brushes his hair.

"Our family, a link to our past and a bridge to our future"

Ragini smiles at his words, "You know you can be a good writer in future Sanskar" she winks at him.

"I would be a writer but all I write would be about you, for you and only you..."

Time flies but the memories created along the way can never be replaced....
