In the evening randhir was brought home. All their relatives and office employees came to see him and wish him get well soon. It was night time and randhir was busy watching news on television in his bedroom. When suddenly someone snatched the remote from him and switch off the television.

Randhir( surprised): what the hell..how dare you?

Sanyukta (keeping hand on her waist): don't dare me Mr shekhawat..because I am in a no mood to be mess with

Randhir (raising eyebrow): oh really sanyukta..i was not aware that you can also get angry I thought you only to know how to cry..and by the why are you in a foul mood to

Sanyukta( faking smile) : are you trying to make fun of me because its not working..and by the way I cry only because of you and also I am angry on you..look at the time..its already nine and you haven't eaten your dinner...

Randhir (looking in his phone): oh if that's the reason then you are wasting your precious time because I am in no mood to eat...you can have yours and do whatever you want..

Sanyukta (snatching the phone): how will you feel hungry? Since you are back you are just sitting in front of this t.v. and drinking that black coffee and for your kind information too much of black coffee is not good for your health..

Randhir (getting up from couch): please don't irritate me sanyukta..i know how to take care of myself..you just go and do your work..

Sanyukta (arranging the food on the bed mat ): I am just doing my work..and I don't understand why are you being irritated I am just telling you to have your food..(sitting in front of him): so just eat it and then I will not disturb you

Randhir ( throwing the plate): don't you understand one thing..I DON'T WANT TO EAT..then why are you forcing me..don't forget your limit sanyukta..if I am not saying anything to you that does not mean you can do what you want..for me you are still a nobody..so just back off..

Sanyukta silently stood up from the bed and cleaned the floor and left the room without saying anything. Randhir just shook his head in annoyance and again busied himself in his phone. After few minutes again a plate was forwarded towards his face. Sanyukta was again standing with a plate in her hands.

Randhir (getting up from the bed): what's your problem? Don't you get one thing straight in your head. You have got so much guts right? but let me tell you one thing sanyukta only my one hand is fractured. I am not paralyzed that I will need your help.

Sanyukta: and I will pray to god that you stay healthy like this this.but now you for your information yesterday only you met with an accident and your right hand is fractured and you are still not well..i know you don't like when some one help you and especially if that someone is me..right..

Randhir : listen you ( interrupted by sanyukta)

Sanyukta: no you listen Mr shekhawat...I am not helping you in any way in fact by doing all this I am helping myself because as soon as you will get fine I will be able to go from here. as now I am not interested to share one roof with you even for a single minute.i am done with you and I am done with this relation and I know you also want the same so why don't we do one thing, you just get fine soon so that I will leave this house forever( forwarding the plate): now will you please eat or I should give you some more eye opening lectures.

Randhir snatched the plate from her hand and sat on the bed. He tried to tore the chapati from his left hand and then dig it in curry and start eating it..after few attempts the morsel  fell down from his hand due his injured hand. Sanyukta shook his head and then snatch the plate from him and took a seat in front of him

Randhir ( irritated): now I am eating right then what's your problem? why don't you decide one thing should I eat the food or not..

Sanyukta (sarcastically): I can very well see how you are eating..randhir ji by taking someone's help you won't become small.

Randhir : no thanks ..i can very well manage myself ..i don't need your help

Sanyukta: why are you so stubborn? At least now you should be happy right as now I will go away from your life. I know you hate me very much. But please I have just one request from you. Till the time I am here as your wife till that only let me do my wifely duties. I promise the day you will recover back I will leave this house. Rest is your choice I know no can force you.

Sanyukta started getting up from the bed when she suddenly felt a pull on her wrist. Randhir was holding her hand and forwarded the food plate towards her.

Randhir: only for few days..once I am back to normal don't you dare to boss me around.

Sanyukta nodes with a small smile. She started feeding randhir with her own hands.silent tears were forming in her eyes.

Sanyukta (in thoughts while feeding him): How much i wanted to forget everything and start leaving a normal life with you. But I know this is not possible. May we are not meant for each other.

After eating the food randhir was about to get in the bed when sanyukta stop him and handed him his medicine. After the medicine he lied down in the bed and let her adjust his quilt. Randhir look outside the French door. There was a cloudy atmosphere. Sanyukta took her pillow and quilt and was about to go to the poolside when randhir called her.

Randhir: actually..i was thinking that why don't you sleep in the room ..don't get any wrong ideas..if I need something and you are not in the room then how will I call you...

Sanyukta (nodes her head): I was thinking the same..i will take the couch.

It was the morning time...randhir woke up and look around the room to find a no trace of sanyukta. He tried getting up from the bed but due to his weak body he was finding it very difficult. After lots of hard work..he got up from the bed and some how reached to the bathroom. He was about to slip in the bathroom when a pair of soft hands hold him from back. Randhir straighten himself.

Sanyukta: what were you doing here? you would have slip down. you already have fracture in your one hand. do you want to break the other one too?

Randhir: actually I was in need to use the washroom and I did not find anyone so (interrupted by sanyukta)

Sanyukta: so I thought that I can manage myself because I am the great randhir singh shekhawat...I don't need anyone help right? (sarcastically) how many times I have to say stop playing khatro ke khiladi (threats player) for your kind information we are have cell phones. Along with checking mails you can use them for calling purpose too.

Randhir: okay Ms lady Hitler next time I will sure call or message someone before getting out of the bed. Now may I go please..i need to use the washroom.

Sanyukta (shaking her head): no way..i am not going out leaving you like this. now only I have seen your stunt. What if you fall again. Already you are having so deep wounds. I just can't take any risk so will stay here only

Randhir (shocked): what noo..are you serious..sanyukta why don't you understand I need to do MY MORNING THINGS and you just can't stand here.

Sanyukta (feeling embarrass): okay I know..but still I will not leave you here alone..what if again got yourself hurt.

Randhir: sanyukta..there is a thing called privacy..okay lets do one thing you stand outside the door and I won't lock it and if any case I will need your help I will call you..but please don't stay here..once I will be done I will call you

Sanyukta noded her head understanding his privacy and stood outside. Once he was done he called her inside. Sanyukta helped him with brushing his teeth. Unlike always he was not showing any tantrums for which she was grateful. After coming out of the bathroom he sat on the couch.

Randhir: sanyukta I need to take a bath..just call parth.

Sanyukta : no you can't bath..doctor has told you to stay away from water for few days.

Randhir: please sanyukta..i am just feeling so unhygienic.I will vomit because of this horrible hospital and medicine smell and I will take care of my wounds..you just call parth or dad

Sanyukta nodes her head knowing how stubborn he is and left the room to call parth. After some time she came. Seeing her alone

Randhir: where is parth?

Sanyukta: actually today was a meeting in the office so papa and parth left early in the morning...and hari bhaiya is also not at home.

Randhir: dammit when I don't need them then they dance on my head for the whole day.just leave it i will manage on my own.

Sanyukta: but randhirji how will you manage alone. You are not able to move your hand properly?

Randhir (getting up from bed): I have to take a bath sanyukta..i just can't take it anymore..yesterday also I have not taken a bath..i will handle it.

Sanyukta (nervously): if you don't mind may..may I help you

Randhir (surprised): no need sanyukta.. trust me I will manage..you don't need to do it

Sanyukta: no I want to do it. For few days only but I am still your wife..so its my duty to help you..and you also promised me that you won't stop me from helping you..and I don't think you will feel uncomfortable in bathing in front of any girl after all you must be habituated to it.

As soon as she realized her words..a familiar ache hit her heart. Randhir was too surprised to hear such words from her mouth.

Sanyukta: I will get the bathroom ready for you

Saying this she left in the bathroom. After some time randhir entered the bathroom. Sanyukta made him sit on a near by stool. Randhir tried removing his t-shirt but after few unsuccessful attempts he fell her soft hands on his hand and within few minutes she removed his t-shirt. Sanyukta handled him a towel and turned around so that he could remove his pants wear towel upon it. After wrapping the towel randhir cleared his throat.

Sanyukta turn to face him and then she covered his plaster with a plastic bag. She then dig the mug in the bucket and with shivering hand she poured the water on his head. After few mugs..she took the body wash and started rubbing it on his hands, shoulder and chest. A shiver ran down through randhir's body, whereas sanyukta condition was no less. She then started pouring the water on his body.

Sanyukta: its done..i will get you a fresh towel.

Saying this she was about to move but due to the slippery floor her foot slipped and in order to hold her randhir instantly got up from the stool. Their bodies were sticking to each other. His wet body has slightly wet her kurti (a type of long top in an Indian pattern). He was holding her shoulders. Due to the sudden movement randhir lips brushed her shoulder. Sanyukta was just living the moment with closed eyes. Whereas there was a different and unknown sensation in randhir's body.

Their moment was disturb by the knock. Their instantly detached their frames. Sanyukta quickly handed him a towel and went to open the door to find a blushing hari prakash and a giggling misha.

Hari prakash (with a shy smile): ma'am renuka ma'am told me that you were looking for me to help randhir sir in taking bath.

Misha: hari bhaiya I don't think now you are required anymore here because your work is already done. Am I right sanyukta bhabhi.

Sanyukta was about to answer when they heard randhir shouting from the bathroom

Randhir (from inside): sanyukta who is there? And please come fast. Now I can't hold any longer. Just leave everything and come to me first.

Their eyes widen in hearing his words. Sanyukta just face palm herself knowing what must be going in their heads.

Hari prakash: I think dadiji (grandmother) is calling me. I will come later on.

Misha (looking here and there): yea I am also going as I have some important work. see you later sanyu.

Saying this they left an embarrassed sanyukta. Sanyukta closed the door and went back to him.

Randhir (wiping his leg): where were you? I was calling you from past few minutes. I am not able to wipe my hair.

Sanyukta (wiping his hair): do you have a habit of speaking wrong things at wrong time. Why were you in so much hurry. I was not running away.

Randhir : what do you mean?

Sanyukta: what I mean is...hari bhaiya and misha were standing outside. Now just push the replay button of your bathroom conversation then you will clearly understand what I am saying.

Thinking for few minutes randhir shocking looked towards sanyukta who gave him a sarcastic smile.After wiping him she called hari prakash to help him for dress up.
