Thomas hasn't been able to focus lately, for some reason his mind just kept going back to a certain person.

Thomas groans out in annoyance, practically banging his head unto the table, he stays there for a short amount of time before sitting back up and looking at his papers.

'Im never gonna finish all of this'

"Hey someone seems a bit down"

"Hi patton"

"Hey kiddo, is something wrong, you seem upset"

"Nothing, its just I cant focus"

"Maybe you could take a little break, you've been working for a while now, and you don't want to tire yourself out kiddo"

"I literally made no progress"

"Oh dear, uh okay, maybe you could try to clear your mind"

"I guess..."

"What are you thinking about then son"

"Don't call me son"

"Sorry kiddo"

Thomas released a heavy sigh

"No its fine I just-ugh"

"Can you not see the problem clearly dear patton"

"Hi roman"

Thomas greeted the fanciful with a lack of emotion

"I do believe that Thomas here is experiencing Problemas de romance universitario"

Patton stared at him with a smile, not understanding what he had said

"What he meant to say is that, perhaps Thomas here is experiencing problems with his 'social life', to be more specific his 'love life', perhaps he has an interest in one of the students in his classes"

Thomas nodded and banged his head on the table, cheek turning light pink

The three watched him in disbelief, until Roman spoke up.

"Thomas I do believe that you are acting strange, you've never been this way before, what's the matter?"

"Well he is being a bit down in the dumps, what's wrong kiddo"

"I agree, you may seem uncomfortable talking about it, but if we do not, it could lead to you failing this project and that project, and this issue could really affect your studies."

"Well its just... I-..."

Thomas took a deep breathe, letting it out as a sigh.

"I don't know-its just-eugh"

"Come on kiddo, you heard logic, and well he's right, we should really talk about it"

"He's afraid"

The darker side said popping up all of the sudden, startling the three.

"Hi anx"

"Hi"

"Wait afraid? What do you mean? Why would Thomas be afraid of a maiden"

"That's the point"

"What?"

The darker trait just stood there quietly, looking at the three then at thomas

"Should I tell them?"

The darker one asked thomas

Thomas nodded

"I guess"

The darker nodded and looked up at the three

"Thomas here has a crush, I bet you all know already, but he's kinda afraid cause.... well......"

"Because he likes a guy"

"Wait what"

"I see that would explain thomas' sudden odd behavior"

"Well I mean, there's nothing wrong with that kiddo"

"I just-what if he thinks I'm wierd-what if he-I-he just-I don't even know anymore"

"Well you could just follow your heart kiddo"

"Perform a grand gesture for him, and he would be so amazed that he would most definately date you since you're so cool"

"That does not seem logical, just be simple, shake hands, exchange names, then after that you could partake in banter, then confess, then he responds either with an agreement or not, so then the problem is over"

Thomas was where he was before, on his living room table sitting on the floor, papers everwhere, it looks like he didn't make any progress, and if possible he went backwards.

'Eugh this is hopeless, why am I so helpess'

Thomas thought to himself.

"Hey thomas"

"A-anx, hey"

"Why arent you asleep"

The darker one asked, although not listening to thomas, the glanced at the table

"Wow you made no progress at all"

No response

"Do you need help"

"What"

"With your little romance issue"

"How"

"Just be you"

"What?"

"You know, the others advice did make sense but the best advice I can give you is be yourself, your past romances all happened naturally right? You didn't need any grand gestures or conference planning, it all worked out in the end, and when it was all over you still remained friends, in fact some of them even became your closest friends so far, so all I'm saying is dont over think it, if you really love him, and if he does like you back it'll happen by itslef, and if he doesn't you can always be friends"

"I guess your right"

"So don't be so glum, get some rest,you can work on this some other time"

Thomas walked in the apartment with a bright look on his face.

The four sides then popped up to see what the commotion was about.

"So how'd it go kiddo?"

"He didn't really like me back"

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry-"

"He has a girlfriend"

"Oh my I'm so sorry"

"We became friends, we had so much in common"

"You do not seem upset are you, alright thomas? You are taking this really light heartedly"

"Yeah I'm fine, never better, I found out that, they were non binary"

"Oh really? what was their name?"

"Oh their name is joan, and ooh he even introduced me to their partner tallyn, tallyn is asexual, I would have never expected that"

Thomas said with a slight giggle.

"Im glad it turned out okay"

Tallyn said quietly

"Yeah thomas, I did feel kinda bad when I rejected you"

"Yeah it really did hurt, but hey we're all friends now right?"

The three laughed together and continued on talking

He wiped the tears of his face

"We should go thomas"

The fanciful side alerted

"Yeah kiddo, I think its about to rain soon"

Logan nodded, while Virgil stayed silent.

"I just really miss them"

Thomas said standing up and walking out of the cementary.

It has been two years since the car crash, thomas tried but he just couldn't seem to move on.
