Punishment or Reassurance? (Demus/Receit)

Author's Note: Heyyyyy! I'm not happy with this fic! I'll probably write another Demus fic later on to balance out this awful thing, but I still had fun writing it. This fic contains a couple of my personal theories about the Sander's Sides series so that might interest you. Or it might not, either way. One thing is for sure: I am way to invested in this series. Regardless though, Here is this fic! Enjoy!

Punishment or Reassurance?

Ships: Demus (Platonic or Romantic, doesn't matter.)

Words ~ 1563 ~

Warnings: Dark sides Deceit and Remus, Sexual innuendos, slight nsfw, swearing, some dominant themes. (Let me know if theres anything else.)

This was the worst possible outcome that could have happened, Remus decided. After rising up in his own room, he stomped across the floor and flopped into his dark green recliner, currently hating everything. His grand reveal to Thomas having been stifled by that poopy logical aspect. He felt anger began to churn at the treatment of himself and Deceit. He wasn't afraid of Logan by any means, no. Yet he was still angry at the whole situation.

"He thinks he is so great! That he can take whatever I say and explain its...its...faults!" Remus crossed his arms and pouted, hanging his head upside down off of the arm of the chair. He stayed that way for a little bit, until he saw the reverted image of Deceit's face enter his vision.

"Ah! I didn't hear you pop in. You know what happened right?" Deceit nods.

"Of course. But to be honest, I knew you would fail the task I had given to you from the start." Remus threw his eyebrows to the sky.

       "What?!" Deceit patted his head.

"Relax. There was a greater purpose behind your trial than showing Thomas the ugliness within him." Remus visibly relaxed.

"Oh good! I don't know what it is." He smiled regardless.

"You will. I knew Logan would win this round, but because they weren't listening to me last time I had to take drastic measures. You were drastic measures. You gave Logan the opportunity to explain the moral grey areas between thoughts. Not only that, but Patton has come to terms that Thomas isn't the naturally good person he thinks he is. But, most of all, your involvement allowed Roman to think past Thomas's needs, and decipher what he truly wants. Roman will have to go back on what he told Patton about the call back."

Remus grinned. "Oooooohhh sounds like there's gonna be a waaaarrrr..." He sings as he hopped up from the couch and brandished his mace, swinging it at the lamp across the room. Deceit stopped him before any damage was done.

"Not that type of war." Remus dropped the mace to the ground and pouted once more.

"But it will be a war. One that Logan nor Virgil will see coming. That can be used to our advantage."

"Yes yes yes." Remus breathed. "Butt, what about him huh? Logan! He's defeated you twice, and me once!" Deceit chuckled darkly.

"There's a reason why I haven't sent HIM out yet. He is our wild card for when the logical aspect seems to be the worst threat. I don't want him involved just yet. But, I suspect the time is soon." Deceit glanced to Remus and saw he was still pouting.

"I hate how Virgil's changed." He gritted his teeth. Deceit grew an arm from his shoulder and cupped the duke's chin with the hand.

"You and me both. However, we can't let his detachment deter us from our plan. When Thomas started talking to the different aspects of his personality, we sent Virgil out as a catalyst for Thomas's change. And it worked, for the first couple episodes. Then...then...all of *that* happened." Deceit frowned. "Acceptance...it proved too much of a bargain for Virgil. We lost him for many reasons, but the biggest was an oversight on my part. Patton is the reason why we are separated into dark and light sides because he is Thomas's morality. So, if Patton found favor in Virgil, his behaviour would begin to change, and so would his views of us."

Remus's eyes widened. "Ooooooooh. I get it. But, what caused Patton to see favor in Virgil in the first place?"

"That...is what I don't understand. Unfortunately..." Deceit flipped his cape and sat on the couch opposite of Remus's recliner.

Remus blew a child-like raspberry and began to mimic Patton. "Ohhh how I love my dark strange son! Oh he is just so precious to me! I would give my life to protect my little Virgeypoo!" Deceit gave an audible snort.

       "Yes. Just like that."

"Oh Deceit! Do you love me as much as Patton loves his Virgeypoo?" He got down on one knee and caressed one of his gloved hands fondly. Deceit quickly pulled it out of his grasp and brought Remus close.

"I thought we agreed that I would be doing the touching." He hissed causing a noticeable shiver to course through Remus's spine.

"Well, of course." Remus quelled his inner submissive thoughts. "But you know how I love to break rules." Remus winked at him and set his hands on Deceit's thighs. He grinned knowing what sort of dangerous game he was playing at. The scaled side materialized a hand in the middle of his chest and pushed Remus away gently and down to the floor.

"Yes, but all broken rules have a consequence." Deceit materialized two more hands and pinned Remus's arms in a T formation. The psychotic side giggled.

"Ahahahaheheheheh! What will it be this time, Dee? Last time you force fed me carrots! That was positively terrible! What will it be now?" Remus looked as excited as a puppy being given a new toy.

Deceit rolled his eyes fondly. "How about something a little more playful this time?" He materialized his last hand.

Remus cocked his head to the side. "Playful?" He looked at the wiggling hands. "Oh." It dawned on him.

Deceit nodded and began to grin. "Are you ticklish, Remus?" Deceit let the words slide off of his tongue watching in confusion as the creativitwin began to pout.

"Tickling? But that's boring. I used to tickle Roman all the time!" Deceit chuckled darkly.

"You underestimate the power of forced laughter. And plus, you've been pouting since you returned. I'm not sure I like a pouting Remus all that much. Let's change that shall we?" The two hands not holding his limbs down, gently grasped onto his sides. It was then that Remus finally understood the anticipation that came with tickling.

       "Ohohoho...you could strike at anytime."

Deceit drew himself closer to the duke. "Exactly..." He hissed, and gently flicked his tongue across Remus's neck, causing him to squeak.

"See? The pouting Remus is nowhere to be found. Only a Remus ready to be tickled."

"Eheheh..." Remus couldn't bring himself to say anything back. Especially, when the hands on his sides began to squeeze up to his ribs and back down again. He quickly snorted then dissolved into giggles.

"Ohohohoho goooohohod! Thihihihis ihihis Torture!!" Deceit gripped onto his wrists just a little tighter.

"Isn't it? But, you also seem to be enjoying yourself. You are laughing after all." If Remus could speak, he would take back what he said about tickling. He was both enjoying himself and wishing he could escape at the same time. And the indecisiveness was what made it such a great method for any case. It was a very versatile action.

Deceit's hands reached inside his armpits and swirled his thumbs along his underarms. Remus practically exploded in laughter. "AHAHAHAHA! THahahahaht's Wohohohorse!"

"Well yes. Everyone has their different tickle spots that they react to differently. The armpits definitely seem to be a contender for yours. Let's try a different spot." Deceit lifted his hands off of Remus for a second, then set one of them onto his tummy. "I know this to be a tickle spot of Patton's. What is it for you, hm? Curious to find out?"

Remus could not shake that annoying grin off of his face, regardless of what he did. "Maybe just a little..." He winked a little. Deceit clawed into his belly and Remus began to shriek between his laughter.

"A little too hard maybe..." Deceit said while covering an ear and wincing in pain. He slowed his hand until he was just barely tickling Remus's tummy.

The creativitwin was now only giggling with Deceit's movements. "Whahahat about my feet? They are ticklish." Remus suggested.

"I would rather die than uncover those stink bombs. But, I will do this." Deceit reached behind him and clawed at Remus's inner thighs.

As if on queue, the duke began to kick and actually squeal. "AAHAHAHOHHOHOHHO! THahahahahts' Hahahahorrible!! Keep going!" Deceit snorted in amusement.

"Wonderful." He continued there until Remus genuinely seemed breathless, and relented his phalangial attack. Two pairs of hands retreated back underneath his capelet and Deceit helped Remus to his feet. It was hard to keep him up straight, as he was wobbling all over the place.

"Eeehehehehehe! Thahahat was not what I expected! That was fun!" Deceit rolled his eyes.

"Everything to you is fun Remus." Remus nudged him.

"What? You didn't have fun tickling me?" He winked and deceit began to inch away.

"Fun is an opinionated and relative concept, but if you must know then perhaps." Remus threw back his head and laughed.

"Are you ticklish deceit?" He asked next and all of Deceit's hands unsheathed from his capelet to grasp at the hands wiggling fingers in his direction.

"I will break all of your fingers, before you are able to find out."

"Oooh please do! Logan says the more you break you fingers, the stronger they get. Also, since you have six arms. Does that mean you have six armpits?"

"Remus. Enough." Remus held up his hands.

"Fine. Fine. But I will find out soon enough if you have six armpits or not!"

"If it's a challenge you want. Then its a challenge you get. For now though, we will wait for our next attack. Do not worry about your failure today Remus. Time is on our side." Remus took a determined breath and smirked. No longer was he angry or pouty, because he had a couple things to look forward to."

Author's Note Part 2: Yeaahhh. Again, I'm not happy, but I don't mind it. I'll apologize for Deceit and Remus being out of character. I don't have their personality down Pat yet. Hopefully I will soon, also I try to keep Deceit and Remus cannon so that I dont dive into sympathetic or unsympathetic territory. I like to keep it in the middle. I love those two idiots so much. Alright, well hope you enjoyed and see you next time! Love ya! <3 Ceffy out!
