His Healing Touch (OC fic Mebriel/Gaphesto)

Hello everyone!! I'm sorry this isn't your average tickle fic I make but I just had to write it because it's been on my mind for a couple days. This is a fic between two Sander's Sides OC's made by Availe and ask-us-sanderssides on tumblr. I highly suggest you check out her blogs before you read this if you want to understand who they are and the full story, but I'll give you a tiny synopsis for people who want spoilers.

SPOILERS:

Gabriel and Mephisto are basically sides of Virgil and Roman respectively. They represent the sides of themselves that they do not like and try to cover up on a daily basis. Mephisto is a wizard deemed evil at first, but the sides gave him a chance and is acting friendly for now. Gabriel is an Angel and we believe he represents Anxiety's flight part of his fight or flight reflex, but we aren't quite sure yet. He can fly though.

Alright. Please enjoy this fic I wrote!

His Healing Touch

Ships: Mabriel/Gaphisto

Warnings: hurt/comfort, small amount of angst

"There. That is wormwood." Mephisto pointed down at the peculiar root-like plant growing oblong out of the ground below. With a flap of his wings, Gabriel hummed in acknowledgement before lowering himself and the wizard down to the earth. With their soft land, Mephisto gracefully let himself down from his boyrfriend's arms. A frown crossed the face of the angel at the sudden disembrace for he wanted the pleasant hold to continue longer than that. Sadly though, he did not take Mephisto as one for long bouts of cuddles.

"...briel? Gabriel." He was shaken out of his thoughts by the low voice of the wizard. It entranced him, captivating his sight into focusing on the figure before him who was bending down to gather strange plant. He walked towards the other and they met him in the forest clearing, only a foot's interval between. At this distance, it took everything in Gabriel's power not to press a longing kiss to the man's lips. Mephisto must have noticed the angel's breath hitch as the gap minimized between their forms. Giving a small huff, he decided to ignore the angel's breathless state.

"Gabriel. I need you to take me to the heart of the forest. If I want to make the elixir I will need a certain type of rare fruit that grows there: The albino dragon fruit." Gabriel barely heard the wizard's words but managed to set himself up for flight. With a small amount of hesitation, Mephisto climbed back into the arms of his boyfriend as they both took off for flight.

Minutes passed and Mephisto was well aware of Gabriel's dazed state. They had already flown through about two clouds by accident, both of which left the green-robed side slightly annoyed with his flight pattern, luckily they both landed unscathed. However, they found the only albino dragon fruits left resided at the top part of the tree. Not wanting to fly again anytime soon, he kindly asked the angel to go up and get one for him.

Gabriel left the ground at his request and reached the height of the tree with ease. Once he collected the object of interest, he was about to reverse his direction when a sentient branch above him smacked the angel clean out of the air and down to the ground.

It all happened so fast in front of Mephisto's eyes. He had enough reaction time to brandish his staff and slow the angel's fall, but it wasn't enough. The cry of pain Gabriel released as he hit the ground, caused a small amount of worry to enter the wizard's widened eyes. He rushed to his side and witnessed the damage done to his boyfriend. The albino dragon fruit rolled to the ground, laying disregarded and pushed aside for the moment.

After analyzing how he fell, Mephisto determined that Gabriel had fallen with his left wing to be the first thing that touched the ground. The down from his feathers saving the important parts of his body, but the wing itself was most definitely injured. The wizard wrapped the angel's arm around his shoulder and lifted him off the ground, the soft whimpers of pain from the angel most prominent as the weight of his body was taken off the wing.

With struggle, Mephisto managed to walk a stumbling, whimpering Gabriel over to a tree to which to rest his back on. "Let me see your wing, Gabriel." The angel violently shook his head no, but after seeing the wizard's very unamused face, he reluctantly complied. Roman's side instantly began his work, setting the bones back in place, doing his best to ignore the cries and pleas from his boyfriend. After his wing was completely stretched out, Mephisto glanced to his his face only to find his heart softening at the amount of tears that were shed in pain.

"I'm sorry Gabriel. But, this is needed for the healing process. I will give you a break while I brew a healing potion." Gabriel nodded in acknowledgement still unable to speak because the pain was too great.

Afternoon turned into night and finally Mephisto was able to gather all natural resources in order to create the potion of healing. He came back to the tree of dragon fruit to find Gabriel had gained enough strength to start a campfire by gathering wood. The angel sat next to the fire, back rested against the tree and shot him a pained smile. Mephisto exhaled a sigh of relief and joined his counterpart at the campfire.

They began to fill the silence making small talk of their more prominent sides and the spunky dragon witch Marmelade as they waited for the potion to finish brewing. After five minutes, It changed color, signifying it's finish and silence befell the forest once again.

Mephisto only spoke up again after collecting the liquid into a flask, sitting down next to the angel's injured wing. "I'm going to need your wing again, I'm afraid."

Gabriel's winced and a look of downcast appeared once again on his face, reluctantly stretching out his wing for the wizard to heal.

As predicted, Gabriel began to whine while the wizard preened his feathers with the ointment, starting at the scapula and working his way across from the tip of the wing. With each row of feathers he finished, the groans of the angel lessened. It was about his fourth row down when he noticed something strange: the sounds coming out of Gabriel's mouth were no longer related to pain. He was giggling.

Mephisto turned his head toward Anxiety's side to see the still small smile and tiny chuckles eliciting out of the other's mouth. The wizard watched his boyfriend carefully as he continued running his hands through the soft feathers, the giggles becoming more prominent with each stroke he made. Mephisto inwardly smiled as the realization dawned on him.

"Ah...I see." But the wizard made no effort to change his hand motions as he continued to apply the healing potion. Very soon, the giggles of Gabriel turned into subtle laughter. He wiggled around doing his best not to pull the wing out of the wizard's grasp, but it became more difficult with each stroke.

Eventually the wizard's hand found the spot he deemed most sensitive on the angel's left wing and let his stroking fingers linger there for a bit longer than they should have. Gabriel noticed and instantly pulled his wing out from the wizard's grasp.

"H-hey! What are y-you trying-g to do?"

Despite the mischievousness growing subtly inside the wizard's mind, his face remained neutral if not slightly agitated that the angel interrupted the healing process.

"Gabriel. I am trying to heal you." A corner of the wizard's mouth twitched up slightly before settling itself back down into a frown.

"Yeah you were, but you began to tickle." The angel flapped his healing wing, feeling the lingering tingly sensations replace the pain. Mephisto said nothing and glanced down to the remaining potion in the flask.

"Unfortunately, I will have to apply the rest of this or else the potion will have no effect and your wing will return to it's agonizing state."

The angel looked at his wing and then back at the wizard before extending it back out to him cautiously. "Fiiiiiiine." But as soon as the wizard tried to grab at his wing, Gabriel's flight response kicked in and he jerked his wing back in again, another adorable bout of giggles escaping from his mouth.

Mephisto gave a silent huff of amusement as he watched his boyfriend recoil before him. "Gabe. You cannot avoid this."

"Nohohoho! You're gohohohnna tickle me again-n." The angel clutched his wing protectively against his chest.

Mephisto finally let a tiny smirk play on his lips. "It is not my fault your wings are sensitive. If anything you should be thanking me for replacing the pain and healing you at all. Now if you excuse me I'm going to finish the healing process."

Gabriel gave a soft squeak as he reluctantly let the wizard take his wing from his clutches. The angel hid his head in his hands, bracing for the tickly feeling once again.

Mephisto began immediately, running his hands through his feathers row by row and dropping the potion as he went, rubbing it in. The heart of the forest was instantly filled with Gabriel's shaky laughter. The wizard continued as fast as he could through the process, but found himself deliberately tickling the spots where he heard Gabriel's laughter the most melodious. He watched his boyfriend's antics to keep himself from escaping or fighting back with a glint of humor in his eyes.

The angel had thrown himself on the ground and beat it, trying all he could do to manage the tickles that Mephisto was dishing out. This continued for five more minutes until the wizard had covered the rest of his wing in the potion. He released him without a word and sat down to watch his boyfriend regain control of his lost sanity with a satisfied smirk illuminating his face. It was wiped, however, when he heard the sloshing of liquid in the flask still in his hand.

Looking down, he found that there was still some he needed to apply. He blinked in irritation, but an odd sound from the angel, caused his focus to shift.

"Ohohohohohowwww." A strained bout of crying laughter pursed the winged aspect's lips as he tried to massage the ghostly tickles away and clutch his stomach at the same time.

"Ow? Where else are you hurt, Gabe?"

"My stomahahahach's hurting frohom lahaughing soho hahard." The angel had little energy to spare.

"Oh...perhaps I should apply the rest of the healing ointment there too." Mephisto couldn't hold back his grin any longer as Gabriel's eyes widened at his statement. He let his amusement show, casually walking up to the tired angel on the ground. Gabriel squeaked as the wizard knelt next to his trembling body and reached for the hem of his shirt.

"No! No nohonononononono!!" Gabriel tried grabbing his wrists and pushing the wizard's hands away from his tired body, but he was too weak. "Meph please don't!"

"I need to apply the rest or else the potion won't take effect." With fondness growing in his eyes, his fingers found their way under and began to work their magic. Gabriel's laughter reappeared higher pitched as he felt the potion phase into him through his tummy and Mephisto's fingers working on rubbing it in.

He scuttered his digits to his ribs, sides, hips, bellybutton, and armpits, all the while listening to the beautiful sound of his boyfriend's laughter. Until finally, the last drop had been spilled and phased through his skin. Only then did Mephisto still his hands and take his fingers out from under his boyfriend's shirt, admiring his handiwork.

Gabriel had been tickled so much that he was crying. Tears streamed down his face as his entire body quivered with the fading, exuberant laughter pouring from his mouth. With his work finished, Mephisto stood up and returned the empty flask to its right place in his satchel. He then offered the giggling angel a hand off the ground, to which Gabriel took and rose to his feet. Due to lack of energy though, his fully-healed wings slumped to the ground and he leaned on the wizard in front of him for support.

Mephisto gladly took the flier into his arms and wrapped him in a loving embrace, silence finally falling all around them. It was broken, however, by a soft, demanding statement from the angel.

"You owe me a kiss." With an ear to the wizard's chest, Gabriel could hear the sound of the wizard's following chuckle ring from the depths of his lungs.

"As you wish...Gabe...." And a kiss was shared under the stars of the night sky.
