Hands-On Research (Loceit)
Author's Note: SURPRISE!! This is completely off the cuff because of someone amazing on Tumblr who asked me to collab with them! If you like my fics, definitely go check out "ticklish-sides" on their blog over there. They have so many amazing fics and drabbles they have been doing for Tickle Tober and other things. So in this fic, they roleplayed Deceit and I roleplayed Logan. This was so much fun to write and we did it in about a span of an hour and a half. Very good timing for a fic. It's just deceit loving time in this book okay? It just is. XD Alright well let me know if you enjoyed and want to see more collabs. I love working with people who have different styles.

There were many things about the other sides that perplexed Logan to no end. Yes they were all imaginary and things didn't have to make sense, but if there was no logical reasoning behind something he got frustrated. For instance, when Roman obtained his conjuring abilities when Thomas was very young, he spent months holed up in his room trying to make sense of it all. Or that time in Patton's room and the atmosphere reacted violently when Patton began to cry. There was no explanation behind any of it. Eventually, he grew tired and only focused on himself, so that he might be the only thing that made sense amongst all the craziness that was the other sides.
Eventually, he found love in researching the mind palace again. He stopped trying to figure everything out, and instead tried to understand the things he saw around him. He looked into everything like it was something to be discovered rather than something to be nit-picked. Perhaps it was the Sander's Sides videos that had helped him come to this point, but the arrival itself did not matter. Logan was currently pondering over certain aspects of the dark sides that made no sense to him. Deceit was the one who bamboozled him the most. Sure he was the most secretive side and all that, but he had physical attributes that were different from all of them.
He had scales for one, but his significant amount of arms was the attribute his mind had been wrapped up in for almost three hours. From what he had seen in past experiences, Deceit had six arms. Six hands that would come out of the black of his capelet and do whatever needed to be done that required extra hands. This got him thinking about what lie underneath that cape. Were the hands connected to his body? Were they conjoined at the bicep and grow when he needed them? Did he have more than six arms? All these questions plagued him and he wasn't sure how to get a direct answer except if he went to the deceitful side himself. But, he wasn't sure if he would give a truthful answer.
So, he came up with a plan of attack on how to best solve Deceit's "Arm" Mystery. He would start with simple questions he knew he could answer yes or no to. Locating the Deceitful side was the biggest problem, however. Deceit came at the most random of times. Well, random to him and catching him in a moment of tranquility with not having Virgil or Patton on his back would be hard. However, his chance came when he noticed Deceit sitting in the commons one day while the rest of the sides were helping Thomas with a video. This might be his only chance, so he took it in stride.
"Hello, Deceit. I have...a question to ask. Do you...happen to have six armpits?"
Deceit slowly looked up from his book with an arched eyebrow, looking at Logan dryly. "Is there a reason for this ridiculous question, Logan?" He shifted his capelet a little, hiding his sides and anything attached to them from Logan's sight.
Logan took a deep breath and composed himself. Sometimes research could be exhilarating, but he needed Deceit to know he was serious about this. "I've been noticing that you have multiple arms, but I'm not sure how that is possible. All the other sides, that I know of, have the same limbs except you. For a while, I thought you would conjure them, but that hypothesis was deemed false when I first saw them slipping out of your capelet. I then began to keep track of how many arms you have, and the number I have come to is three on either side. Six arms in total. But, I was not sure you would answer any questions I asked you, so I kept my first question simple. Do you have six armpits? That would determine if they are actually connected to your body or not." Logan took a few steps into the room and sat on the couch opposite Deceit, hoping not to chase him off.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Logan," Deceit said, carefully adjusting his hat with only one hand. He smirked at Logan and shrugged. "I'm afraid that I can't answer that. Wouldn't want to ruin the mystery after all." His smirk widened a little. "I wouldn't want to take away something that obviously intrigues you so much."
The logical aspect searched the room, squinting back to Deceit at the odd response. "What...do you mean? You want me to find out by myself is that what you're saying?"
"I guess that's your only option," Deceit said, picking his book back up and looking away from Logan. "Isn't it?"
It felt like a trap to Logan, but he wanted to know and Deceit was practically giving him an invitation. He stood up from the couch and began to walk over. "Very well. I will check myself." He picked his up head in self-assurance and walked straight over to deceit, not taking his eyes off him once before attempting to lift up a part of his capelet.
Deceit yelped in surprise, honestly not expecting Logan to do this. A hand shot out from behind his capelet, smacking at Logan's.
Logan stifled a laugh. He wasn't sure what Deceit was expecting if he asked him to find out for himself. He reached for the flap of the capelet again, quicker this time.
Deceit's book was abandoned and he smacked at Logan's hand with his two visible hands, two others sneaking out from behind his capelet and pulling it closer to his chest.
Logan frowned when he was no longer able to reach the capelet. He was outmatched in strength and speed by the six-armed side, but the disadvantage didn't deter him one bit. He grasped one of Deceit's arms and attempted to raise it up past his shoulder so what was underneath the capelet could be exposed.
He succeeded. For one moment, Deceit's armpit could be seen and, right underneath that, was the top of an arm that was already reaching up to try and cover the weak spot.
The stars in Logan's eyes grew when he saw it. He kept Deceit's arm in the air, until another hand came to cover it. He dropped the wrist and immediately summoned a pencil and notebook. "You do! You do have six armpits! Oh goodness I can only imagine what living with Remus would be like if he tried to steal your deodorant, but you need to use it three times more than we do. How did that fight go over? Also, does one armpit sweat more than another? Do you have scales in some of the armpits but not others? Do they all grow hair? And do they all carry the same nerve endings as the armpits that we have? Do you have three times the axillary arteries?" He looked at Deceit expectantly, a faint smile growing on his face at the newfound information.
Deceit huffed. His capelet fell back and all six of his arms were revealed. He crossed the middle two, the top two adjusting his hate, while the bottom two rested on his legs. "I will answer only one of your questions. My time is very valuable and I don't have any time to speak about my armpits. As far as I am aware, all of my armpits carry the same amount of nerve endings."
Logan marveled at them, coming closer to Deceit to inspect a bicep despite the small amount of nervousness he felt. He already had the most important question answered, so any other information found would be the icing on the cake. He quickly poked his pen into the armpit of one of the arms that were adjusting his hat. "Are you positive?" He asked, wiggling the pen quickly with an inquisitive look on his face.
A squeak slipped out from Deceit as he flinched back, two of his hands smacking at the pen while another quickly snatched it from Logan's hand. "Whahat are you doing?!"
Logan felt a small pang of sadness when Deceit stole his pen, but the squeak he emitted was more than compensation for his stolen pen. "I was testing the nerve endings, but it appears you are ticklish. At least, in this armpit. I wonder if others have the same sensitivity." He peered across Deceit's body, looking for an open armpit where he might test his theory. He saw one that was slightly open and went for it with his open hand.
Deceit squealed before descending into squeaky giggles. His arm crashed down, trapping Logan's hand while the other five flailed.
Logan's smirk quickly grew to a grin and wiggled the trapped hand into that hollow. The giggles were uncharacteristic of the dark side and intrigued him greatly. It seemed he lost control of his limbs when tickled so slipping another hand to an armpit he hadn't tickled was relatively easy. He tickled and scratched with both hands into each of the armpits until he found that yes, they were all just as ticklish as the last. He couldn't stop himself however, he continued tickling reaching down to see where else Deceit was ticklish. He tweaked his sides, his stomach, hoping to hear more giggles before the snake side got a hold of himself.
He certainly got a lot more giggles before Deceit pushed himself forward, pinning Logan's arms against the couch and just holding him there as he caught his breath. He gasped, a shaky grin on his face. "You, you will regret that," he said through his giggles.
Before Logan could act or even think, he was immobilized and the deceitful side was grinning down at him evilly. The logical aspect knew that there was no possible way he would get out of this, but to him, knowledge was worthy of any tickling he would get. He felt a surge of confidence flow through him and he met Deceit's grin, still shaking at the very thought of what he could do to him with six hands. "Do your worst...I have the information I wanted. You can't tickle it out of me." Even if he was going to lose his sanity, he had won this battle.
"Oh, are you sure about that," Deceit cooed. His four remaining arms stretched out. Two settled on both of Logan's hips while the other side fell on Logan's sides. "Truly?" He started to gently trace both of Logan's sides, up and down.
A gasp emitted from Logan's lips at the foreign touch and he was beginning to weaken underneath the fingers tracing along his weak spots. "I'm...sure..." His body began to quake and no longer did he sound as concrete as before.
Logan's hips bucked involuntarily and he cut off the laughing that was about to come out by biting his lip. He nodded though, unable to speak lest his voice betrayed him. His mouth began to wiggle, and he thrashed his head from side to side as if trying to shake the giggles out, but it was clearly not working.
"Ohhh, I think that you have some laughter trapped inside you," Deceit said with a sharp grin. He looked Logan over before moving one his hands from Logan's side to underneath his chin, gently tickling underneath it. "~Why don't you just let those little giggles out, Logan?~"
It was a gradual process, but the hand tickling underneath coaxed the little giggles. "...hm...hm...heeheeheehehehehhehehehe!" Soon he was giggling softly, his eyes shut tightly and the brightest blush spread across his face. "Deehehehehehehehehehhehehehehehe..." He tried to say his name but ultimately dissolved into giggles again.
Deceit's smirk softened into a smile and his remaining three hands started to trace Logan's sides and stomach gently, keeping a single finer tickling under Logan'schin. "Awww, you must like this! You're smiling!"
Logan quickly shook his head, but he would be lying if he said the tracing didn't feel good. His hips bucked frequently when a finger would graze a particularly sensitive spot on his tummy and over a period of time his giggles began to morph into soft laughter. "Nohohohohohahahahahahahaha..." He tried to shake off the feeling from his hips, but they stayed relentless and Logan dared to open one eye to look at Deceit's face.
There was a soft, fond expression on Deceit's face as he watched Logan. It was so nice to see a Logan that was often stoic laughing and smiling. He blinked when Logan looked at him, quickly schooling his face into a smirk and sneaking a hand into Logan's armpit and scratching at it.
Logan jumped at the sudden intrusion, and an almost squeal interrupted his train of laughter. He wiggled his upper half, trying to get out of Deceit's grasp but failing at each jerk. "AHahhahhhahahhahahahahaha nohohohohohohohoho! I hahahve a reheheputation! SNRK!" He snorted when a finger poked into the deepest part of his armpit.
"Aw, yes," Deceit drawled. "I remember Patton talking about your reputation. I believe that he, Roman, and Virgil all agreed that you have a reputation as the cutest side. And, I really must agree with them."
"FaaaAHAHAHAHALSSEEHOOOD!!" Logan tried, but failed to execute a Faleshood correctly and found himself dissolving into belly laughter at the horrible teasing Deceit was giving him. It was nice to let go, but he would never say that out loud, lest he be the laughing stock of everyone in the group.
Deceit laughed along with Logan. He decided to go for one last finale, digging into Logan's armpits with a hand each while two others kneaded his stomach.
Logan's laughter quickly shot up to full volume. His body became bright red with sweat and tears began to prick at the corners of his eyes. Quite honestly, Logan forgot where he was or who was tickling him and he was just laughing along with the sensations. Though he quickly felt it become too much and attempted to stop Deceit. He didn't think it would do any good, but he could at least try. "STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAPPP!! I-I CAHAHANt TAhahahake Ihihihit!!"
Deceit's hands shot away, letting go of Logan's hands and sitting up. "Logan, are you okay," he asked in concern.
Once Deceit's hands were off of him, his four limbs flopped out like noodles and he gave out a large, comical sigh. He breathed heavily, unable to speak for a moment before responding to Deceit's question. "Y...yes..." He let his breath even out before he continued further. "I...I am...okay." He struggled to turn over on one side and stayed like that for a minute before attempting to rise to his feet. He fell back on his bottom the first time, and a few light-hearted giggles accidentally escaped at his incompetency to stand up. He tried once more and rose to his feet with much difficulty. He wobbled back and forth and a few more stray giggles left his lips.
Deceit stood up as well, helping Logan steady. "Do you need some help," he asked in amusement, smiling at him warmly.
Logan used Deceit as leverage and took a few steps, finding his legs felt like jelly and hard to stabilize. He pouted in the cutest way possible and mumbled under his breath. "...possibly..."
Deceit chuckled and supported Logan as he led him back to Logan's room. He gently let Logan go and opened his door. "Alright, go lie down. I dare say that you'll need it after all that laughing."
The logical aspect finally caught his breath and allowed himself to feel a soft spot for his tickler. But, he still felt smug even after all that tickling. "Thank you." He replied after being led to his room. Before entering fully, however, he turned around and quickly poked Deceit in the armpit one more time. He then went for his nose and smiled at him wryly. "You have six armpits." He stated, another small grin growing across his face. "I am afraid you were unable to tickle the knowledge out of me. You will have to try again later." Logan allowed the grin to morph into a small smile and he closed the door before Deceit could get at him again. He cackled freely behind it and touched the back of it, knowing Deceit was still there. "Would you...like to visit me again sometime so we can go over those questions I had earlier? I'd...let you...do that in return...or...whatever..."
Deceit smirked, a pink flush on his cheeks. "Of course," he said softly, tilting his head. "Who knows? Perhaps you'll stop laughing long enough to try getting me one day. Though, considering how hard you laughed earlier, I think that's a challenge that you won't be winning anytime soon." He adjusted his capelet, hiding his four extra arms behind it, before turning to leave.
Logan chuckled and began walking to his bed. "You underestimate me, Deceit. But, I'm going to bed now. Goodnight." And with that, he climbed into bed and quickly fell asleep in all of his clothes, sweat, and glory.
