There Isn't a Word That Can Describe This Pain
A/n: I GOT A PROMPT!!!! YAYYYYYY*coughs intensely*YYYYYYYY
OKAY, all caPs-i
Anyways, a huge thanks to Nightlara for another amazing prompt!
I tried to go down the non human au path, but I literally could not think of anyone who'd want to kidnap Patton, or think of a good enough reason for them to want to kidnap him, so here, I bring you a human au! : D
Also most of this is probably really unrealistic so bear with me this took a while to write.
TW:
•War and bomb talk
•rape talk
•torture and abuse
•kidnapping
•homophobia/polyphobia
•Suicide
•trauma/ptsd
•tell me if I missed any I probably did
Mkay, so for me personally, this isn't really bad or graphic-I write stuff like this all the time, it doesn't phase me-but for some people some parts of this could be seen as too much.
Or someone would think that i'm extremely screwed up in the head-but you know, I don't think this is too bad, for me, but ya'll might think it is-you've been warned, sorry 😅😅😅
Their relationship was anything but easy. A six-way relationship was frowned upon enough as it was, and viewed as horrible and wrong..they were constantly accused of cheating and going behind each other's backs...but even worse, both Remus and Roman were in the relationship.
And they were brothers.
So that was very frowned upon. But they were adopted, not actually blood related, so it didn't technically matter. Plus, they knew each other as friends/something more, long before they both happened to be adopted by the same woman.
Though, most didn't reason, or see it that way. So everyone in the relationship always faced extreme prejudice for their actions and feelings towards each other. Still, in the end, they never let any of that get in the way of their relationship.
There were so many people that chastised them and hated them because in truth, they thought it wasn't fair. A lot of people wanted them, but they all liked each other, no one else.
Plus, they were all part of the LGBT community, so that was another huge thumbs down from the world.
People never tried anything too crazy like burning their house down though, because Logan was a police officer-one that was very high up there, higher than the chief, he made practically every decision and had to give the okay on every little thing.
Plus, Janus was one of the most trusted, and quite frankly, the best lawyer in the states, so nobody thought it would be a good idea to mess with any of them too much, at least on a legal standpoint.
People always tried to break them up, and tear them down, but they never let it happen, because they didn't want to let it. They loved each other, no matter what the world would say.
Still, they were very happy despite all of the negative commentary, and day to day life was very enjoyable within the safe walls of their own home.
——————- ——————
"Guys, guys, stop it!" Patton laughed, "i'll buy more crofters when I go to the store in a little bit, stop fighting!"
"Remus stop!" Logan yelled, chasing after him.
"It's mine now!"
"Remus" Patton said, raising an eyebrow.
"Okay, fine.." Remus pouted, handing the crofter's to Logan, who happily began to spoon feed himself the jam.
"Now, anyone wanna come?" Patton smiled.
"I'll come" Virgil said, hopping up to come with Patton.
"Great! Let's go!" He smiled. But everybody else in the house also wanted to go.
"Guys, is this really a good idea-"
"Patton I love each and every single one of you with all of my heart, and if anyone has a problem with that, they're not going to be able to see out of their right eye for the next few years" Janus said, "let's go."
"Awe, that was the cutest thing you've ever said!" Patton exclaimed, beginning to tear up.
"So protective" Virgil teased, pecking him on the cheek.
"Well, it's true."
With all of that being said, and the fact that it wasn't really a problem-they could all just be written off as friends, so they all piled into the car and drove off. They never really had to worry about money-six incomes, all high paying jobs-they actually had the nicest house in the neighborhood, and many luxury items.
Logan was a cop, Janus a lawyer, Roman an actor, Virgil-well, Virgil was complicated. He was a very professional hacker for huge incorporations that used codes and secret information to get into the countries' enemies emails and weapons supplies to make sure no wars were being planned-it was very risky, and very high paid.
Remus worked for a company that worked on answering deep worldly questions, and discovered new ocean life.
Patton was a comedian, and very well liked.
————————————
By the time they'd gotten to the store, Remus had already permanently traumatized half of them, Roman had made Patton cry, and Virgil was having a panic attack because he forgot to brush his teeth.
Roman hadn't meant to make Patton cry-see, the thing with Roman was that he thinks he's being funny and quippy, but he's actually insulting people.
He thinks he's saying, 'yeah, your MOM WENT TO COLLEGE, OHHHHH' when he's actually saying, 'Bro your mom is a filthy whore who never loved you'
Still, despite all of this, going to the store was very fun. Like-it wasn't supposed to be fun, they were supposed to complain and argue and go 'my feet hurt' the whole time but they'd split into pairs to make sure they didn't get distracted, and Virgil and Patton were together. And when they got together-it just was fun.
It wasn't that their connection was stronger than that of everyone else in their relationship-they just clicked well together, and never really made fun of each other, even if it was just teasing, and if they did argue about something
-it was soft spoken and actually a very pitiful thing to witness.
They'd get all teary and try to explain how it was just a disagreement and they still loved each other-still though, it was all usually just a bunch of puns and games with them.
So, Virgil put Patton in the cart, and they wheeled around the store, screaming and laughing the whole time-almost getting kicked out too, but that was besides the point-it was great. Eventually, Patton was buried in groceries, and had to be hauled out.
"Awe, looks like we have to go meet up with everyone now" Patton chuckled, noticing how much time had passed, and after making sure they had everything, said, "yep, that's everything."
Patton hopped on the side of the cart, and Virgil blasted across the store with him to meet everyone else at self checkout counter number four.
"Hey guys!" Patton chipped brightly.
"Hello" Logan said, rather annoyed.
"What's wrong?" Patton asked sadly, wondering if he'd done anything wrong.
"Oh, nothing, just that you guys paired me with Roman."
"Don't you love me?" Roman asked with a pout.
"Yes, I love you, but you get on my nerves way too much for my liking" Logan sighed, and give me back my phone, for god's sake-you guys are always trying to snoop on the police shit, it's top secret!" He exclaimed, pushing his glasses up.
"It's so sexy when you do that" Remus smirked, looking Logan up and down.
"What?" Logan asked, running a nervous hand through his hair.
"That too.." Remus smiled, walking over and firmly pressing his lips to Logan's.
A man and a woman gasped from behind, shielding their children's eyes, "this is what I was telling you kids about! The gays! They're corrupting everything!" The woman exclaimed.
Logan just began to push harder into the kiss, and than everyone else grabbed one of their partner's and had at it as well. Soon enough they began to switch between boyfriends, which made the lady faint.
"Oh my god! Their gay and they're cheaters?!?" The man exclaimed.
"Dad" the teenage daughter rolled her eyes, "it's called a polyamorous relationship..or, well, i'm assuming that's what they're doing-and it's not cheating" she explained.
"What?" Her father asked.
"I mean-i'm not that educated on the subject-but i'm pretty sure it means that there's three or more people in the relationship that all love each other, and are okay and consensual with dating one another" she explained, the best she could.
"Oh no-and you're okay with this thought? Hazel, wake up!" The man yelled to his passed out wife, "your daughter's being corrupted by the internet!"
"What?! No i'm not!-"
Her father grabbed his daughter by the arm and began to harshly yank her out of the store, "i've taught you better than this!"
The woman woke up too and began to sob, "my daughter is gay!"
"Mom, just because I know what it is doesn't mean I am-oh my god your causing a scene!" She yelled, as her father gripped tighter on her arm, leaving a bruise mark.
"Do not use the lord's name in vain young lady!"
As the couple walked out with their daughter, everyone soon began to draw their lips apart, kind of feeling bad, "that poor girl" Patton frowned, bagging the groceries they'd already checked out, and scanning everything else.
"Yeah...god, some people just aren't meant to be parents. Shaming their kids because their knowledge, not being supportive.."
"Patton, you just can't wait to be a dad, can you?" Roman smirked.
"I really can't!" He exclaimed as he got out one of their credit cards and paid, soon enough though, they left the store, and got into their car, driving off. Little did hey know, a car was following them home...it had been someone nearby them in the store who had been watching them.
The man in the car had marked their address once they'd gotten there, and then drove off to return later that day.
Logan thought he'd gotten a glimpse of the man-he looked oddly familiar. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. He didn't know the man-he just knew the outfit-maybe from a cult or something?
————————————————————
Later that night, when they all got into bed, Patton woke up at four am, and yawned loudly, and got up. He knew he was forgetting something...but what could it be?
He walked through his dark house, squinting at the amount of light there was. Not much. He could've turned a light on-but he was too scared to walk all the way over to the light switch.
Oh yeah! He remembered now!! He'd completely forgotten to take the trash out-he knew that Remus would eat it if he didn't so he just sighed, and took it outside.
He walked to the trash can and tossed the bag in there. He noticed a black vehicle. There was a man inside. He opened his door and began to walk towards Patton..then run. Patton gasped and immediately booked it towards the door, "HELP! HELP ME!"
He didn't know he was in danger, he just felt it.
As he opened the door to get back inside the house, someone was on his tail. There was a pan rack by the door because the kitchen was close by. He knocked the whole thing over as someone grabbed him and pulled him away from behind. Patton screamed in fear, and yelped out a terrified, "help!" As he was dragged away.
Eventually, Janus and Virgil woke up and ran out to see what all of the commotion was. As they ran outside, they saw Patton struggling against a man as he was forced and locked into a vehicle, which promptly sped away.
"Oh my god, Patton!" Virgil screamed. Everybody else promptly came outside, screaming. Logan squinted from the upstairs window as he hadn't gotten outside yet-his eyes widened. He recognized that man's outfit. His top secret case.
Logan quickly grabbed his emergency first aid kit and his huge police case that had all of his supplies in it, and he ran down the stairs quickly to meet everyone.
When he hot outside he found that Virgil fell to the ground and kept on repeating a number-or-was it a code? "E4rU73"
"Virgil?" Roman asked as he kept in chanting the number.
"E4rU73 E4rU73 go get me a pen and paper! E4rU73E4rU73-"
So Roman ran back into the house, grabbed some paper, and set it in front of Virgil, and Virgil quickly wrote down the number.
"What's all that about Virgil?!" Remus asked.
"The licenses plate number, dumb ass! Now come on, I can track it because of that time I hacked into some of Logan's police data, come one-"
"You WHAT?!" Logan exclaimed.
"Nothing-just, come on, alert the police about the situation, but we have to find Patton!" Virgil yelled, "get in the car!"
"I am the police-" Logan exclaimed as everyone jumped into the car.
"Contact whoever the hell can help us with this!" Roman yelled as everyone piled in, and Virgil floored the car before anybody could even think about sitting down, the doors barely shut.
Logan was very glad that Virgil had thought to get the plate number-it was a smart move that he himself probably wouldn't even have thought of in that moment of pure panic.
————————————————————
Patton woke up in a cold, dark room...but when had he fallen asleep? He quickly remembered the chain of events that had lead to him being there. In the car, Patton wouldn't stop crying and screaming, so the man shoved a syringe into his arm, and injected him with a substance, which made him promptly pass out.
He tried to scream, but found himself choking on a gag. He was panicking, and he just couldn't breathe-the gag was bad enough, but there was also a thick layer of duct tape over it, ensuring that he wouldn't be able to spit it out. He felt like he was suffocating-especially with all of the ropes tied around him-was he claustrophobic?
Maybe he was just scared. Perfectly reasonable, though it was an understatement. He didn't even know if there was a word for the type of fear he was feeling. He began to wonder who had kidnapped him, how they'd kidnapped him, and why.
Had they been planning this out months-maybe even years prior? Had it been something they'd done on the spot when they'd found him alone outside at night? Did they have something personally against him? Or was he just an easy target?
He heard a huge bang followed by, "No, Shannon! I didn't kidnap him 'just because!' I did it because he's one of them-"
"I know he's one of them!" He heard a woman, Shannon, snarl, "but I thought that we had an agreement! You can't just go out and take people! You have to be clever about these things, if someone found us out, this whole thing-whole organization would be shut down!"
"Shannon-I know. Usually we only take children and teens-but this guy was just so easy!"
Patton wondered if he was hearing right-he did have to strain to pick up on most of that-though, he wasn't completely sure, because why the hell were they talking about that right outside his door?
There was no freaking way that they were going to let him out alive. Not a chance. He thought maybe he'd be able to escape somehow, but an organization?
He was stuck inside his head, and missed the next few lines. When he picked back up, he tuned in on, "I know, Shannon...but, the rape, the torture, and abuse, everything we do to people..it all feels so normal, we never do anything exciting anymore. It doesn't feel like i'm doing anything wrong. So I went out and did something unexpected!"
"Yeah well it won't be as fun when you unexpectedly land yourself in ja! THIS MAN'S BOYFRIEND IS A COP!" Patton heard. But it seemed farther away. He guessed that they were walking.
The last thing he hears was, "wait..you used the COMPANY'S CAR?!? THAT HAS THE DAMN LICENSE PLATE NUMBER ON IT!? YOU KNOW THE POLICE HAS BEEN ON OUR ASSES FOR YEARS!!"
Though he didn't really have a chance to think about what was said, because his brain was picking up the key words and panicking about it. Rape, torture, abuse. His mind was reeling as he struggled against his restraints. He needed to get out.
He was writhing in his seat against the ropes, breathing heavily as they pressed against his chest and arms, leaning rope burns and small rashes. He began screaming in fear into his gag, and started to sob, shaking violently.
Eventually, someone came barging into the room-he was making too much noise, and the walls were very thin-most likely so people in the next rooms over could hear exactly what was coming to them in the near future.
Someone quickly sedated him, and he went limp against his chair.
————————————————————
As they plugged the license plate into Virgil's little illegal system, (which Logan was both impressed and disappointed at) they figured out that it didn't actually belong to a house, but could be tracked back down to a company's building. They figured that they'd better try it out.
They'd taken several wrong turns along the way-it was a very confusing map. It looked like it in itself also illegally hacked into a police database to purposefully send wrong directions to anyone trying to track them down.
"You know I can arrest you for this, right?" Logan asked.
"You know you're the one who gave me the password and let me use it right?" Virgil scoffed.
"Oh-"
"Yeah, oh."
Given all of the misdirections and such, they were about two hours behind the kidnapper. Eventually, they did finally end up getting there, but everyone was high strung and scared, so it took a while for everyone to get each other to stop screaming, so that they could actually go get Patton.
But they hadn't really thought this part through-they couldn't just simply knock on the door and say, 'hey did you kidnap our boyfriend?' It just wasn't possible. So, they decided that they'd stake out and hide until they got a plan.
"We can't do this! Patton needs us-i'm going in!" Roman yelled, only for Janus to smack him over the head with a frying pan and for him to fall to the ground unconscious.
"Janus what the HELL!" Logan exclaimed.
"Where in the name of god did you get a frying pan from?!" Virgil yelled.
"That's my Janny bear.." Remus smiled, pecking him on the cheek.
"Guys shut up we're going to get found out! And you all know damn well none of our scrawny asses can hold Roman back!" Janus hissed, "now, I looked up the buildings name in Logan's police database website-"
"HOW THE HELL DO YOU GUYS KEEP GETTING INTO THAT?!?"
"YOU TOLD US WE COULD IN AN EMERGENCY!"
"I don't recall ever letting you guys do that!"
"Just-c'mere, the building is huge-it looks like it's a whole company, like there are other buildings and stuff like it, let me see-" Janus said, typing into Logan's high tech police laptop.
"Woah" Virgil whispered, "looks like the police have been tracking down this place for a while-well, trying to at least-look, the company has sister locations and factories. Factories that print fake money and have people who are specially trained to kidnap-oh my god!" He exclaimed, turning the laptop over to show Logan.
Logan was worried. This case was huge, and secret-nobody was supposed to know about it for fear of it leaking and everyone packing it up and going to another location-this place was serious and Patton was in there.
"T-they do..corrective rape.." Virgil whispered.
"Oh hell no!" Janus exclaimed, "nobody is doing any of that shit to Patton!"
"Torture, abuse, kidnapping...some people send their kids here-they have fliers that say it's a perfectly normal summer camp, or, church camps and stuff-showing false locations, the kids get on the buses but the bus drives right past the normal camp and goes here" Logan explained, "i've actually been working on this case.."
"Babies as young as three months are being kidnapped and brought here. Just a week ago a one year old girl was said to be kidnapped, and the description of the man that did it perfectly fit in with the outfits that the kidnappers wear. It's like a cult. They do it for a reason-for some kind of god."
"Jesus Christ" Virgil muttered.
"No, not him" Remus joked.
"Wha-oh. You little smart ass-"
"Guys! I have an idea" Logan cut them off, "but you guys can't join me. It's too dangerous, you guys aren't trained in this field of work-"
"Hell no, you're not going in there alone!" Janus yelled, "we're coming with!"
"I can't let you!" Logan exclaimed, voice raised, "these people are armed, with guns and weapons-remember what I told you about the fake money? They buy so much shit with that, and it's all so high tech and just-it's too dangerous! I've called some of my police buddies-the most trusted ones on the force. This is a damn FBI case, this is a high level of danger!"
"He's right" Remus sighed, "As much as I hate to admit it..we couldn't do shit to help. There are hundreds of victims in there, and probably even more workers and assassins-we wouldn't stand a chance."
Logan was suspicious-it was unlikely that Remus of all people would give up so easily-he was glad he did though, because he was not joking about the possibilities of danger and death.
"Okay. The other police should be here any minute. Give me my laptop, I need to start putting the place on lockdown. Like I said, this is high tech so I can interfere with the system and override safety protocols and put it on lockdown. The metal doors and windows will shut down, locking everyone inside" Logan said.
"It-it might be too advanced for me though-"
"Um, hello, professional and advanced computer and satellite hacker here?" Virgil smirked, "top in my feild-now scooch."
"Why would they kidnap Patton? He is the least likely to have any information about anything-he's a comedian for Christ's sake!" Janus exclaimed as he paced around the spot they were in.
"It's not about information, it's a sick little game of torture they play with their victims" Logan explained.
"Shh be quiet guys Virgil has to focus!"
"Oh please, I hacked into a Russian jet that had missiles aiming for Ukraine. Disabled the bombs and boom, saved another ally. This code is pretty simple for what it is-"
"Virgil I can't even understand anything that's saying-"
"Well it's simple for me-but it'll still take a while to get the building on full shutdown. Ooh, looks like they have underground escape tunnels, here let me section those off too-and here we go-buffering" Virgil said with a pair of his signature finger guns.
"I left the roof untampered with so that the workers and everyone can come up there and negotiate or whatever you police officers do-also it's too high up so they won't be able to escape. I'm looking through now to section off the supply closets that have the weapons and emergency escape tools and everything-this shut down will be too sudden for anyone to override."
"Well damn-I didn't know your job was this-so-wow" Logan whispered, speechless.
"Yeah" Virgil chuckled.
"Okay-we're going to wake Roman up now, but you should go off to meet the other officers and inform them of the situation" Virgil said seriously, "the whole lockdown thing should take a while-two days. You guys need to come up with a plan, do not go in there all guns blazing!"
"Okay. I'll do that. If you see anyone that's wearing a dark robe with a chest emblem that looks like an opened door-" Logan rummaged through the emergency bag he'd brought earlier, and pulled out a gun, "don't hesitate. Shoot them."
————————————————————
The next time Patton woke up, it wasn't on his own. He hadn't known how long it had been, but he was sure it had been more than two days. He had so many more cuts and bruises and burns.
He was brought back to his consciousness with a spazzing shock. He was being tased with an electric leather whip. If he didn't have a gag in his mouth, the room would have shook with his screams of pain, bouncing off of the walls and echoing throughout the building.
His screams were suffocating within the gag, being shoved back into his throat. He was shaking violently, tears running down his red, blotchy face. He had marks all over him from the whip, and kept convulsing, shuddering and spasming in the chair so violently, that a leg broke off and his face slammed into the cold, hard, tiled ground.
His glasses were now broken, and laid on the floor next to him, and he was sure his nose was broken to. Flood was flowing out of it and pooling on the floor below him around his face. His other wounds were also leaking out the thick crimson fluid, as bruises formed around the cuts, which were beginning to look infected.
The whip had obviously been used on many other subjects and victims-never being cleaned or even wiped down-it was filthy and menacing, and would surely infect any open wound with its filth and grime.
The wounds that had been torn open by the whip were quickly being cut with another knife, opened further, and going deeper. Blood seemed to pool and pour from every pore in his body. Spikes of pain were erupting from every limb, every crevice of his entire being.
They were telling him things. Suddenly there were multiple other people in the room-all trying to break him. It was evident and clear that they'd been watching him for a while before they kidnapped him. They knew quite a bit about his life.
"You don't deserve to live. You take your life for granted, and you waste so much of it. You're evil and horrible and wrong. You have too many boyfriends. Actually, that's one of the main problems. You have boyfriends. You're gay, you're wrong. You need to be fixed. Let us help you." One of the men said, beginning to undress Patton.
"We'll be replaced with women. They'll show you a good time. They'll show you that they can treat you better than a man ever could. You've already been raped while you were unconscious. It's been a few days, but now you get to experience it awake."
The gag was soon ripped from his mouth, and sobs erupted from him, but he was in so much pain that he could barely even cry. He screamed aloud, and could hear various other people crying out for help from other rooms.
But he canceled them out. He focused on his own pain because he just couldn't focus on anything else. Everything was overwhelming him-the lights, the screams, the voices, everything.
Patton was very confused. He had gotten zero explanation as to why he was there. No evil plan or maniacal laughing-nothing. All he knew was that he was here for being-poly and gay?
The woman soon came into the room, sickening smiles on their face as they took off his boxers. He was weak, and could barely move as he tried to fight against it. He was repositioned and tied to a pole on the wall, his hands positioned above his head. He was completely exposed and naked.
He could barely see, and not just because he didn't have his glasses-when had he gotten a black eye? It was throbbing.
The women quickly began to fondle with him, as they prepped to put him inside of one of them-but Patton was repulsed, and gagged, he barely had any strength, so he couldn't hold in the repulsed bile that crept up his throat.
The woman giggled at him, "don't worry. Puking is normal. Not usually so soon though-are we really that bad?" She pouted.
Why were they doing this?
They kept on inflicting him with pain and burns and marks. His thighs were covered in them, and his neck was littered with hickeys.
Perhaps they'd explain to him later-maybe they already did, he couldn't remember-Though, what happened next seemed to make him believe that he may never know, because out of nowhere, a loud siren began to Blair throughout the building just as the woman was about to start riding him.
"EMERGENCY LOCKDOWN, EMERGENCY LOCKDOWN"
An AI machine began to repeat loudly as red lights flashes across every room.
Patton couldn't take it anymore, and with a final scream of anguish, lost consciousness, bleeding out heavily on the floor below him as footsteps heavily ran against the floorings, and voices screamed in panic.
Though it wasn't the victims screaming this time, but the company's own workers.
They had been found out.
They had been caught.
————————————————————
All of the important people of the building were ordering everyone around, but to no avail. There were sirens and helicopters, and megaphones screaming, "slowly walk onto the roof with your hands up"
And one by one, everyone who worked there filed onto the roof, hands above their heads as a helicopter landed on the roof to take everyone into custody.
"Who is your leader? The one in charge?"
Everyone pointed to a woman in the front. She was wearing professional clothing and looked very stoic, trying to look unphased by this. Her name was Shannon.
She turned around to all of her 'followers' or 'workers' and signed to them. It was one of their cult signs. She was telling them something, and the police quickly guessed it as one by one, everyone began to jump off of the roof.
"You will not question us, you will bot capture us. We will not reveal the locations of our other buildings, and you will not find us out!" Shannon yelled, as bodies began to plummet to the ground. Dead body after dead body piling up beside the building. Broken limbs and broken bones all over.
Blood and guts splattering everywhere when they landed wrong-it was a horrific thing to witness.
The police tried to grab some of them-they couldn't let them all escape to death! To get out of their consequences and punishments. But they were sneaky and all escaped. Shannon was the last to go. She winked at the officer and dove off of the building.
More officers quickly climbed the roof, and began to check the building for more people. But it seemed that that was protocol. No other bad people were there.
"Okay guys, get the victims into the ambulances, and pack everything up into the trucks. We have to analyze everything and get it all out. Tell that Virgil guy to unlock the building so we can get to all of the rooms."
————————————————————
The building was completely unlocked within a few hours, and in that time most of the victims were carried out. The conscious ones were all completely and utterly traumatized, and could barely even speak. All of the screaming just-was too much for their voices.
The ones who could speak were mumbling about stuff.
"It's been so long since i've seen actual sunlight..."
"Is this what warmth feels like? I forgot..the only time i've ever felt warmth in the past few months was the searing white hot pain I felt every-time I was hit."
"Am I finally..free?"
There were babies and toddlers, children who looked three quarters of the way dead, malnourished and-well, the police officers were sure that there wasn't a word to describe how horrible and heartbreaking the scene was.
Every victim could agree on one thing though.
There really, truly wasn't a word that could describe the pain.
Janus, Remus, Virgil and Roman all met up with Logan soon enough, searching across the crowd of pained and wounded victims, the screaming, crying children, the traumatized mass of humans that would likely never be the same again.
"OH MY GOD THERE HE IS-PATTON!" Remus exclaimed.
None of them gave any shits what any police officer had to say as they filed into the small ambulance with Patton.
"You'll be okay" Virgil whispered, kissing Patton's cold, bruised hand, which very visibly had many fractures and bone breaks.
Everyone cried as the people in the ambulance began to inspect Patton's wounds and bandage and disinfect everything they could.
They weren't sure how Patton would react when he woke up. But they would be ready for anything he had to bring.
Or maybe they wouldn't be.
But they'd sure as hell make sure that they would listen to him, and do everything they could to help.
A/n: Nightlara I'm not sure if this is exactly what you had in mind-but I tried my best! 😆 And because this took so long, I also have some aftermath ideas, so expect a part two in the near future!
It'll focus on Patton awakening, what he'll go through-a bunch of that kind of stuff, it it could take a while to plan it all out and write, so i'm not sure when it'll be published, but it will be!
Some things may not match up in this so i'll probably edit and clean it up later, sO-
