•Logan will face Virgil's wrath the next morning
"Logan?" Virgil whispered, peaking his head into Logan's living room. They had just began to date, well-they had been daring for little over a year, but to Virgil that was a very short time, and Virgil was very..anxious, if you will. He had never been in a relationship all twenty three years of his life, so he was worried that he'd mess something up.
Plus, Logan offered Virgil to live with him. And once they had built a strong trust over the year they'd been daring, (they'd known each other long before then as well) they began to share cash assets, as long as they'd be responsible with the money.
"Yes, Virgil?" Logan asked in reply, his eyes not looking away from his computer screen.
"It's late-well, ea-early now, and I think that maybe we should-I dunno-head-head to bed? I mean, I know you're busy with your work, but it's not healthy to stay up all night stressing yoursel-"
"Virgil, dear, you don't need to be so anxious around me. And of course, we can go to sleep, i'll be right with you" Logan said, reaching for the monitor to turn off the screen, when suddenly, an email popped up.
Logan sighed, "it's from my boss..I have to answer this-i'll be just a moment, why don't you get ready for bed?" He asked.
"Alright" Virgil sighed, heading into the bathroom.
Logan sighed, beginning to answer his boss's email after giving it a few thorough reads.
As Virgil was brushing his teeth, he knew he shouldn't feel so bad about it, but he couldn't help it. Logan was twenty seven, with a real job, and he was still in college, working part time jobs. He didn't have to go through the work stress that Logan did.
But Logan had to deal with Virgil too, from time to time. He had to fight to get Virgil away from the computer when he was studying for an exam late at night.
They were both late sleepers, and hated waking up early. With a good cup of coffee, (or two) though, they would be ready to start the day. And that's just what they needed most of the time to get through a class, or a boring work day.
He spat out the remainder of his toothpaste, not washing his mouth out because Logan had told him that resting the toothpaste remnants on his teeth was good for him-not that he minded, he felt really good about himself when his teeth looked good.
He washed his face, and walked into the bedroom. No Logan. He frowned with a sigh, Logan was very busy, after all. Virgil decided to give him a while to answer a few emails before he'd head in to nag him about sleeping. After all, if Logan wanted to work healthily in the morning, he needed at least six to seven hours of sleep.
As the minutes ticked by, Virgil began to scroll through tumblr, and this always got him sucked in, so he was on tumblr longer than he'd have liked to admit-twenty minutes.
Wait-twenty minutes?! And Logan still wasn't finished? What could he be doing in there?
Virgil got up and walked into the living room, and of course, as he suspected, Logan, with bored, baggy eyes was typing away on the screen, the bright light seeming to be boring into his eyes like some sort of life source.
Virgil cleared his throat, casing Logan to jump in surprise, "and what do you think you've been doing, Mr. 'I only have one more email'" Virgil questioned, arms folded, his left eyebrow raised.
Logan rubbed his eyes, sending off his email, and saving his work, yawning, "sorry Virgil, I got really caught up in my work."
"Yeah, no kidding, you look seconds away from passing out, now come on, let's get to bed" Virgil commanded.
It seemed that as Soon as Logan's head hit the pillow, and as soon as Virgil's head plopped down on his chest, he was out like a busted light bulb.
Virgil was surprised that Logan agreed to come to bed with very little argument, but he welcomed the change, pegging the reason down as exhaustion.
He closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep.
Hours later, he woke up, back turned to Logan. He rolled over to put his arm around his chest and pull him closer only to find that Logan wasn't in the bed anymore.
He sighed deeply, rubbing his exhausted eyes, glancing over to the clock.
Five am. Logan had barely been asleep for three hours.
Virgil marched towards the living room, frustrated. He stomped in and sprinted over to Logan, about to give him an earful when he found that Logan was asleep.
Virgil rolled his eyes, saving Logan's work, shutting down the computer, and guiding Logan's half asleep body to their bedroom, where he laid him down, and they slept in until eleven am.
