Boredom (P/R Logince)

Prompt.
I'm kinda tempted to make another oneshots book on here but like.... just for smut. Cause I have more oneshot ideas I wanna write for that but I know some people don't like reading that so I don't want it to take up this book, so basically like-is anyone interested in that?

Roman tapped his fingers on the countertop to a song that was stuck in his head, standing slouched against it as he waited impatiently for someone to enter the coffee shop. It was an incredibly slow day that day, and Roman was the only person there. That should be a good thing he supposed, except he wasn't allowed to get his phone out and he currently had absolutely no one to talk to. Although Roman usually loved his job he was feeling more and more bored with every second passing by that the little bell above the doorway didn't ring.

He sighed to himself, elbow planted on the counter top and face pressed into his fist, staring down the door like it was his worst enemy. He sat that way for so long, tapping becoming more and more aggressive with every passing moment. When at last the door did swing open Roman didn't actually register it until the man who entered was already at the counter in front of him. Upon finally noticing the man standing there Roman shot up, putting a wide, apologetic smile on his lips.

"Good morning!" Roman greeted a little over-excitedly, making the customer frown for a moment. Not noticing the obvious negative reaction Roman continued along in the same loud and upbeat tone. "What can I get for you?"

The rest of their interaction passed by quickly, the man waiting patiently at the counter while Roman went back to fix him up his drink. He handed it over, charged him for it, and finally told him to have a nice day.

Roman was sure to watch as the man turned around, silently wishing their interaction had lasted longer. He should have tried to chat with him or something-he was just so used to this routine while working at the coffee shop that he worked mostly on autopilot. He didn't really even get a good look at the mans face.

It was a delightful surprise as the man took a seat at one of the booths by the window, setting a laptop down that Roman hadn't noticed before and opening it up, beginning to type. Roman actually managed to get a look at his face now, eyebrows lifting slightly as he wondered how he hadn't payed more attention before. He was hot, and Roman knew he had to find a way to talk to him again now.

He waited a few minutes longer to see if anyone else would come in but it seemed that just like the rest of his morning there was no one coming for a while. He briefly considered that he may get caught on the security cameras they had set up and end up in trouble with his boss, but he was quick to disregard it. How often did anyone check those anyways? Surely he could get away with leaving the counter this one time. It wasn't as though he had any actual work to be doing otherwise.

Roman walked out from behind the counter, making his way over to where the man was sitting in his booth. He slid into the seat across from him, making the man look up at him with a frown and a raised brow. Roman spoke before he could get any words out to ask the question he was bound to be thinking. "What're you working on?"

The man across from him blinked, mouth opening the slightest bit and staying that way as he thought for a moment. Roman took the opportunity to look at him even more properly now that he was sat across from him. He was a fairly young man, probably Roman's age, and he looked as though he were in college. He wore fancier looking clothing than anyone else Roman has seen his age, even donning a blue tie over his nice black shirt. His hair was neatly pushed out of his face giving Roman a better view of his dark brown eyes that were crinkled currently to match his look of confusion. He was gorgeous, and Roman was glad he came over to attempt talking with him.

"I'm-I'm just trying to do some schoolwork," Logan explained at last, voice quiet and flat. His lips curled downwards at the end in the slightest hint of a frown. "Who are you, exactly? Do we know each other?"

"I'm Roman," Roman introduced himself, sticking out a hand over the table. "We haven't met, but it's a slow day and I'm bored, so. Here I am."

"Oh," Logan said simply, hesitantly shaking Roman's hand. "I'm Logan. I really do need to focus on this, though."

"Perhaps I could help you out?" Roman offered.

"Do you go to college as well?" Logan asked, and Roman shrugged.

"Not currently, but I could still try to help."

"Forgive me, but I'm hesitant to trust someone who isn't currently in school with my grades." Logan declined, going back to typing on his laptop. Roman really should have caught on to Logan trying to ignore him, but he just continued to talk anyways. He talked and talked and talked about random things, asking Logan different things, just saying anything so long as it meant he didn't have to stand behind that counter anymore waiting for customers.

At some point the conversation had went from somewhat normal into Roman just telling Logan all of his favorite(mostly Disney themed) pickup lines. It was his last attempt at making the man actually give a smile(which he hadn't done since Roman had started talking to him), and he hoped at least one might work.

"Is your name Ariel?" Roman asked, smirking over at Logan who for some reason was still listening to him rather than getting on with his work. "Cause I think we mermaid for each other."

"Have you forgotten my name already?" Logan spoke, for once not completely monotone. His voice had a slightly teasing lilt which gave Roman some hope of this actually going well. He ignored the remark and told another one that came to mind.

"My name isn't Sully, but you can still be my boo." Roman recited the line proudly, smirk growing at the sigh that followed from Logan.

"I was only trying to get some schoolwork done, I truly didn't expect myself to end up here."

"Oh, c'mon! You know you're having fun." Roman responded.

"Somehow, yes. I am enjoying listening to your attempts at flirting." Logan said and finally, finally he shared the smallest of smiles with Roman.

Roman felt like all of the air had been sucked from his lungs, his heart feeling as though it would burst from his chest. How was it even possible for someone to be so attractive? He smiled back genuinely at Logan, face burning.

"Y'know, you really should smile more often." He said carefully, trying not to give away his embarrassment. "Your smile, it's... well, it's breathtaking." He laughed softly at himself, looking away from Logan.

"Thank you," Logan spoke, his voice sounding much less monotonous than it had when they had first begun talking. "I... also think that you are breathtaking. Thank you, for talking to me. This is the first time in a while I've talked to someone about anything other than school."

"Well," Roman grinned, slipping a notepad from his apron. "Perhaps we could exchange numbers? I'd be happy to provide plenty of conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with school. Of course, you don't have to-"

"No, I'd love to." Logan cut him off, still smiling. "I don't have many people to talk to, and you seem very nice."

Roman beamed at his words, thanking him and writing down his number to hand it to Logan. He was about to speak again when he heard the sound of the bell at the front door, freezing as he realized he hadn't been at the counter for a while now.

"I, uh, I need to get that," Roman said awkwardly, already beginning to rise from his seat.

"Of course," Logan nodded at Roman understandingly. "I need to get going anyways. I hope you have a nice day, and I hope to talk to you again soon Roman."

"Right, you too!" Roman smiled softly with a blush on his cheeks, lingering for just a moment longer before he had to head towards the counter. Logan gathered up his things and was soon walking out of the door as Roman talked to his new customer. They both spent the rest of their busy days thinking about the next time they would get to see each other.

The ending sucks but hey, what's new?

I found the pickup lines for this by googling Disney pickup lines. Here are a few more I found that make me chuckle. some of them are inappropriate so just-be warned. I actually had a hard time finding ones that weren't inappropriate.

Sit on my face and ask me to lie... What? You've never been Pinocchio'd?
You can call me Nemo, because I'm gonna "touch the butt"
There are people who say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. Apparently, none of them have ever been in your arms.
Hey Cinderella, call me midnight cause when I come around I'll make your dress disappear
You don't need a spoonful of sugar to make me go down.
Oh, Oobee Doo, I wanna be with you. I wanna walk with you, talk with you, it's true.
Call me Pooh, because all I want is you, honey.

Lmao, yeah I really liked those ones. Anyways, Im gonna go work on HHS for a bit and then hopefully get some sleep for the night. I hope that you liked this oneshot. *Remus yeets a ringpop at your face but you catch it* Thanks to Paradox-Puzzler for the suggestion. Take good care of yourselves! Go to bed earlier than 4AM! Don't be like me! Bye!-Bob
