I'm basing the college off my town cause why not?

Triggers: homophobia censored slurs (f slur) hints at logan having a bad mom and patton bad siblings slight teasing/bullying

Patton knocked on the door if his roommate was already there he didn't want to disturb them

A boy about Patton's age opened the door "Salutations" he said and patton internally sucked in a breath at the coldness in his voice

He was dressed in professional clothes down to the tie which was unusual for someone in their early mid twenties

Patton smiled "hi! I hope I'm not disturbing anything" he stepped in as the other closed the door

"Thats quite alright i assure you i wasn't doing anything exciting, and your name is?"

"Oh sorry! Patton Miller" he shook the other boys hand

"Logan smith" he responded patton was known for studying people on accident and noticed that logan dressed very professionally down to the tie and his hair sleeked back as if he spent time on it though he also didn't seem the type to do that

"Uh can i help you?" Patton realized he had been staring and laughed a little

"No sorry i tend to stare" he laughed nervously "so uh have you claimed a room yet?"

Logan shook his head "take your pick" he sat on the couch

Patton nodded and took the smaller room his only had a bavkpack and two small suitcases so he didn't need that much room

He hung up a pride flag above his bed which he then flopped down on

Patton was homoromantic or gay and asexual (I REALLY HOPE I'M RIGHT HERE) now he knew that this college was super homophobic but it was the only one he could get into and afford

He fell asleep sure he was worried one his roommate would hate him as well as the school and well school was scary and if teachers didn't at least treat him as an equal...

He yawned yeah thinking about that would not help so patton just changed into is cat pjs and fell asleep

Logan was about to gobto bed but noticed pattons door open

He went to close it for him and noticed a flag he recognized

He cracked a rare smiled and closed the door headimg back to his own room to sleep

That was one small worry off his shoulder. Accepted by his roommate

Timeskip brought go you by homophobic bitchs-

It had been a week since school started. Patton and logan had decided to come out to each other which went pretty well (logan coming out as bi)

Patton had thought that things would be ok but was sadly very wrong he had been shoved against locked and teased despite his bubbly energy and kind personality to literally everyone

Logans situation wasn't much different he had to fix his glasses within the first week (which he'd gotten pretty good at) and stayed pretty reserved never really used go the emotions he still felt (sadly)

Teachers and professors weren't always there to see what went down and yeah they were twenty and nineteen but bullying didn't seem to really stop

But the main thing everyone noticed except logan and patton was the apparent chemistry happening between them

No one said anything cause homophobe's but even the teachers got that something was up

But back to the present patton was walking through the hallway to get to his herbolegy class (i think thats it)

"Aye f*ggot" he hit the wall next to him and sighed deciding to just keep walking

"Please dontdo that nor use a homosexual slur without the right" a cool voice from behind him said and patton turned afound seeing logan standing there

The guy who shoved patton didn't look fazed and just shoved past logan as well "whatever f*g" he walked off

Logan sighed "are you alright?" He asked patton

Patton sighed "its nothing new" he shrugged showing a weak smile

Logan nodded "as long as your alright i wanted to ask you something later" he still didn't smile he just seemed really nervous

Patton beamed "of course! You can always ask me something lo" he smiled

Logan nodded then glanced at the clock "I'll see you back at the dorm room"  and headed off

Heading to his class and contemplated wh at logan would ask?

Guess he'd find out

Another Timeskip from logans nerves

Feelings had never been logans specialty but he couldn't hide the ones he had for patton

Ok he COULD but he'd done that before had a major crush on a person that turned out to like him back before they moved away and logan and them lost touch

That was partly to do with his dad but thats a story for a whole other day

Logan had decided to write a note avoiding stumbling over words and embarrassing himself more when patton obviously didn't reciprocate these feelings

He left the note on the table just as patton clicked his key into the lock and walked into his room

Patton walked into the dorm immediately noticing a note on the table

He guessed whatever logan wanted to tell him was kinda hard to say and he may have gotten his hopes up just a little

Patton had always been an optimist according to his siblings a "naive little sunshine" always in a teasing way

But he pushed those thoughts away deciding to just read the note

Salutations patton

He smiled a little at the formal greeting and read on

Apologies for the short length of this note but i decided to just get to the point

Patton nodded then realized no one could really see him and kept reading

I belive i have acquired romantic feelings for you within the past few weeks of us being roommates

He read that one sentence over and over again feeling his heart race

I completely understand if you don't reciprocate these feelings but i felt you had the right to know

Not reciprocate? Was he crazy? Patton had liked logan within the first week though he hadn't told him anything

I would appreciate if you told me what you think whether you like me back or not

Patton put the note down and waited to stop shaking and knocked on logans door

He opened it and patton immediately hugged him

Logan seemed taken aback "uh patton?"

Patton let go "sorry lo. Yes of course i feel the same way" he decided responding to the question was the best thing

Logan seemed taken aback again "you, you do?"

Patton nodded still beaming

Logan smiled which was rare and patton hugged him again

And for the first time in years logan hugged him back

Holy crap this was long

Over 1000 words! Now most of my oneshots are 600 to 800 words but NO this one f*ckin made it!

Anyway again was this good? If there were any spelling mistakes please tell me cause i don't have the heart to re read this
