Background knowledge: Roman and virgil are best freinds they like each other but dont want to ruin their friendship by confessing.

Roman's POV

Me and virgil decided to go to a park to just talk and relax. It's been a long day and we need a breather. But the thing is that I like virgil, like,like - like him so this will be awkward.

Virgil's POV
Me and Roman are going to the park together! So I know that this seems small, but I really like Roman. And this is my chance to get closer to him.

TIME SKIP

we are at the park now and we are just sitting in the grass talking.
"Hey roman?" I asked blushing a bit, I was planning on asking him out today.
"Yeah virge?" He said looking over at me.
"I - I w wanted to ask you something." I say my voice getting a little quieter.
"Shoot." He said a bit of red tinting his cheeks.
"I was wondering if..." I began but stopped my anxiety taking over. "I was wondering if we could go get icecream, hehe." I blurt out, shoot! I blew my chance.
"Oh,sure!" He said a little disappointment showing on his face.

Roman's POV
Virgil asked me if we wanted to go get ice cream. Well yeah sure icecream great and all but.. I was hoping he was gonna ask something else. But I agreed anyway. I dont wanna see my emo nightmare sad. We make our way out of the park and to the nearest icecream place. We stopped at Braumbs and got some icecream. We sat down at a table and just talked. We left after we finished. We decided to go to the beach before we go back to the house.

TIME SKIP
we made it to the beach, and me and virgil sat in the sand. It was night time when we arrived. So I thought this would be the perfect time to ask him.
"Hey virgil?" I asked nervousness rising in my voice.
"Yeah ro?" He responded, a hint of red hunting his cheeks.
"I was wondering if..." I started but I was getting really nervous." You would b be my boyfriend?" I studderd out. He looked at me with shocked eyes, he started crying!?
"Virgil! What's wrong? Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine it's just.. why would you love someone like me?! I'm not worth it!" He finished, what he said broke my heart, why would he think he is not enough?
"Virgil you are worth so much more than you think! I love you no matter what. You are you and that's what I love about you." I say lifting my hand up to cup his cheek. I start to lean forward and my lips meet his. He melted into the kiss and wraps his arms around my neck. We pull away and I press my forehead against his.
"I love you virgil, no matter what."
"I love you too ro."
