Rain and Cuddles

A loud boom filled everyone's ears as a flash of white light filled the darkened house, causing everyone to jump. The sound of harsh rain hitting the roof was also heard, it somehow getting louder and louder. A heavy sigh left Logan as he lit the last scented candle Patton had, being cautious to not burn himself. Remus held one of the lit candles in his hands, smelling the air.
"Oooh, it smells like cotton candy!" the weird prince exclaimed as a smile formed on his face. Deceit took the candle, narrowing his eyes at the slightly smaller male. "The power going out is enough, we don't need you burning the house down." Remus gasped dramatically, Roman snickering as he looked at Patton.
"Hey Ro, could you go check on Virgil? I haven't seen him since before the storm," Patton spoke, having a slight look of worry on his face. Roman nodded as he said "Yup!", taking one of the sweet scented candles before making his way upstairs. It smelled of Vanilla. Another loud boom was made, causing the prince to jump and nearly drop the candle. He let out a quiet sigh of relief, continuing the way up the stairs.
Once at the top of the stairs, Roman held the candle up so he could see  better. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he approached Virgil's door, double checking to make sue it was the right one. Once he was sure it was Virgil's room, he knocked softly.
"Come in," he heard Virgil's quiet, muffled voice say. Roman grabbed the door knob, turning it and pushing the door open. He looked ahead of him, his eyes landing on a small silhouette in front of the window. Roman raised a brow as he walked in.
"Vi?" he asked, cocking his head to the side slightly. The small silhouette turned to look at Roman. The small light illuminated Virgil just enough so that Roman could tell it was him.
"Oh, hey Roman," Virgil spoke as he stood, stumbling slightly before approaching Roman. Virgil wasn't in his usual clothing, but instead a big purple sweater and a pair of black short. "What's up?"
"Oh, I was just coming to check up on you," Roman said, smiling sweetly. "What were you doing over there?" Virgil hummed, looking over at the window as the the big white light flashed again, a boom filling their ears. "Just watching the rain. It's really calming."
"How is it calming? It's so loud," Roman spoke, a slight chuckle following his sentence. Virgil smiled as he looked up at Roman, taking the vanilla scented candle from him.
"Close the door and I'll show you," he spoke before walking back over to the window. Roman raised a brow as he closed the door, being cautious as he made his way over to where Virgil was. Virgil sat in front of the window, waiting for Roman to do the same before blowing the candle out. He set it to the side, staring out of the window with a small smile plastered on his face. Roman looked at him slightly, smiling softly. He was stuck staring at the small male, adoring the twinkle in his eyes and the smile he had.
Virgil noticed that Roman was staring at him, looking up at him. "What?" He asked, Roman brushing a strand of Virgil's purple hair out of his face. "You just look so pretty," he said as he cupped Virgil's cheek. Virgil's face immediately turned bright red, not expecting the compliment. Before he could reply, a very loud boom filled their ears as the room went white again. Virgil squeaked loudly as he jumped, clinging onto Roman as a reflex. Roman as jumped, a laugh leaving his mouth as he wrapped an arm around Virgil's small body.
"Is the emo nightmare scared?" he joked, a light blush spreading across his face. Virgil blushed even more as he giggled, rolling his eyes as he rested his head on Roman's chest. "Shut up," he spoke, staring out the window at the rain. Roman giggled as he also stared out the window, hesitantly pulling the small male into his lap. Virgil didn't object, allowing Roman to hold him in his arms. The two were smiling like dorks.

Patton slowly creaked Virgil's door open, biting his lip as he held his candle up. He hadn't heard from neither Roman nor Virgil for the past hour. He took a few steps before stopping, the candle illuminating the two males laying on the floor. Quiet snores left them, Roman holding Virgil tightly in his sleep. A small smile formed on Patton's face as he set his candle down on the nightstand, grabbing Virgil's blanket from the bed and laying it on them. He grabbed his candle once he was done, carefully and quietly leaving the room.

A/N: Yea, this was kinda rushed. Not the best, but I'm bored and had to update SOMETHING. So, yea, have fluffy Prinxiety. Okay, bye bye.
