Roommate Family

TW WARNING: Swearing, slightly sexual

Virgil sighed as Patton vacuumed the living room. His roommates knew the living room was his favourite spot to hang out on his phone, yet they don't care, they continue doing what they want anyways.

Patton turned the vacuum off and went to unplug it from the wall socket. He put it away and sat on the middle of the couch. The five roommates had their own spots on the couch. Virgil was on the far left, Roman next to him, Logan in the middle, Patton next to him, and Deceit on the far right. They didn't complain. They claimed their spots when they first moved in four months prior.

Logan walked in the house later that night and set his car keys on the counter, along with his bag on the floor leaning against the wall. He sighed and sat on the arm rest on the chair Patton was curled up on. "Salutations Patton." He said.
"Hey Lo! How was work?" Patton smiled, turning his attention away from the tv.
"Stressful." Logan sighed. "Today was a really busy day. Supposedly it's National Latte day, so we had customers flooding in every minute." He stood up and turned towards the stairs. "Which is why Roman is gonna be a bit late. They kept him until closing hours. He should be home at around six." He looked at his clock. "Half an hour."
"I suppose I should start making dinner then." He stood up and walked to the kitchen. "What sounds interesting?" He asked, looking in the fridge and freezer.
"Chicken Alfredo." Virgil said, walking down the stairs. He leaned against the kitchen counter backwards, facing Logan. "I would have warned you about work today, but I decided against it." He smirked.
Logan gave him a look of annoyance. "of course you would have known, your on that damn phone all day. No wonder you don't have a proper job." He rolled his eyes.

"Now now, let's be nice you-" Patton began, filling a giant pot with water.
"It's no different from yours! Working at a flower shop at least pays more than you and Roman!" Virgil scoffed.
"It does not!" Logan crossed his arms. "We work more anyways, you only work on Tuesdays and Thursdays!"
"Enough you two!" Patton gave them his dad look and put his hands on his hips. The other two boys looked at him apologetically. He smiled and went back to cooking, bringing out the noodles and waiting for the water to boil.

An hour later Roman arrived. "My apologies! Boss made the cafe stay open an hour later than usual because people just wouldn't stop coming in for latte's! Why would you have coffee at six pm? Anyways, Remy and Talyn are staying another half hour there, they said they had everything under control."
"Your food is, unfortunately, in the fridge for you to heat up. Sorry Kiddo.." Patton said. he turned his head back to the tv, cuddling with his blanket, which was on top of both him and Logan.

All the light in the house were off and the tv was the only source of light. The four were watching Coraline as Roman arrived. Only one spot on the couch remained, which was Roman's right next to Virgil.
Roman set his stuff down and sat down with them. They were at the end of the movie, but they all had the day off of work the next day, so they expected to watch more that night. Roman and Virgil shared a blanket, as did Patton and Logan, however Deceit didn't have one, so Patton got up and grabbed a big fluffy blanket for them all.

Patton is always the first one up. Besides when Virgil stays up all night, which that night he hadn't. Patton was up rather early, everyone else was dead asleep. It was five in the morning, so it was still dark outside. He went under the blanket and slid out, trying not to disturb the others. He tip toed to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and a bag of cheetos. He stepped silently back to the couch and slid back under the blanket. He turned the tv on and made it so it was barely audible. He rested his head on Logan's shoulder as he silently munched on his cheetos.
Virgil slowly shifted so he was holding Roman's arm, which woke him. He looked down at the emo boy. He inhaled then exhaled a little heavy as he turned to the tv then Patton. "Your up rather early." He whispered.
Patton finished his cheeto before turning to Roman. "I guess I'm just used to waking up around this time to get ready at the animal daycare." He turned back to the tv, which was playing Hilda on Netflix.
Roman jumped a bit at Virgil's movements. He yawned and kept his eyes open, knowing he wasn't gonna go back to sleep anytime soon. He leaned slightly to his roommates touch. He ended up resting his head on Virgil's, smiling slightly to himself.

An hour later in the morning Logan woke up. He noticed the tv on, cheeto crumbs on the blanket, and Patton's head on his shoulder. He raised a brow and whispered, "Patton, you are a mess." He sighed and looked at the tv. "I'll clean it up later."
"My apologies, Lo. I'll clean it once Virgil and Deceit wake up." Patton smiled at him and set his head back on Logan's shoulder.
"Shh, I'm trying to figure out what happened to Stix." Roman whispered, watching the tv intently.

Four boys were now awake doing their own thing. Patton was cooking breakfast, Logan was working on his computer, Deceit was eating food until breakfast was ready, and Roman was posting on Instagram and Snapchat pictures of Virgil cuddled up to him, explaining how cute he is.
Virgil sat up and stretched. He raised his brows after smelling the delicious food that has been made by his roommate. He stood up and walked over to the two, Deceit and Patton, at the dining table. He sat down, grabbed a plate, and set a few pancakes on it. He ate his plain pancakes while going through Instagram stories. He froze after seeing Roman's story.
"Roman you cheeky little bitch." He mumbled quietly. He set down his pancake and stood up. He walked over to the living room and loomed over Roman. He held his phone in his face. "You little shit." He growled.
Roman slid away from him and off the couch, running across the house for his life. "I'M SORRY I COULDN'T HELP IT!!" He cried. "YOU WERE TOO CUUUTE!" He jumped on the couch and over the back next to Logan, causing him to drop his pancake right before he bit down.
"Mother... Fucker..." Logan cursed. He picked his pancake back up, but before he could bite down, Virgil did the same as Roman. "GOD DAMN IT!" He yelled.
He stood up and started to chase after both of them. As for Patton and Deceit, they just sat there, eating their pancakes peacefully, watching Roman and Virgil about to literally die. Roman, if it was possible, was about to die twice. Once from Virgil, and once from Logan. And it's about to be twice from Deceit if he keeps screaming.

Roman and Virgil were sitting on the couch, not in their normal spots, except for Virgil. They were each on one end of the couch, being lectured by Logan, who was finishing his pancakes he was never able to eat.
"And to top it all off, do NOT disturb me when I'm eating, working, or when I'm in a bad mood, understood?" Logan growled.
"Understood, mom." Roman rolled his eyes and stood up. He walked over to the stairs and stopped. "Also," he turned to Logan. "I didn't hear a word you said, and Virgil's asleep." And with that, he walked upstairs to his room.
Logan looked at Virgil and angrily bent his fork, like he had some super strength or something. (But let's all admit, they aren't hard to bend) He stood up and went to his room, with his pancakes, to try and calm down. He sat on his bed and bit down on one of the pancakes. "Aaahhh, FUCK IT TASTES SO GOOD!" By then, the pancakes were cold, but he honestly didn't care, as long as they were in his mouth and he was eating them.

Roman heard Logan moan by the satisfaction of his food. He, obviously, didn't know it was his pancakes, and his first thought was jerking off. He went through his contacts to call him, but decided against it, because he didn't want to call him while he was in the middle of stroking his dick.
Roman decided to get up and go back downstairs, away from the rooms. Logan's was on the far right end of the hallway and Roman's was on the far left end, but he was being preeetty loud, so it was audible from Roman's room, very faint, but still audible.

Virgil woke up not to long after Logan finished the lecture. He didn't even fall asleep, he was faking it, because he didn't want to pay attention to Logan, and he wanted to make him mad, because it was funny to him.
Virgil sat up and went on his phone. He went to Roman's Instagram story again, smiling a little to himself at his roommate calling him cute.
"Whatcha lookin' at?" Roman asked, peering over Virgil's shoulder to try and get a better look at his phone screen.
Virgil quickly hid his phone. "N-nothing! Just uhm..." he looked around for an answer. "...looking at dog posts.." he lied.
Roman knew exactly what he was looking at. He had been looking at his phone for a bit before talking and scaring the younger boy. "Oh, okay then." He smiled and jumped over the back of the couch to sit on his spot, right next to Virgil.
The anxious boy gulped as he kept the screen away from Roman. He did, as he told his roommate he was doing, start looking at Instagram posts of dogs. One that came up was Patton's post, him at the dog park before they all moved in together.
Roman whipped out his phone and went to Snapchat. He got a text from his boss saying him and Logan need to come into work today. Apparently people were lining up outside because supposedly it was National Coffee day. Kind of ironic since Latte Day was just the day before. And the only people that actually arrive are those basic white bitches that are always being rude to the workers.
Both Virgil and Roman got up at the same time and went upstairs. Roman started getting ready for work. He was supposed to get the day off that day, but apparently people are stupid sometimes and just HAVE to have coffee on National Coffee Day.
Virgil and Roman walked out of their rooms and towards the front door.
"Where you going Hot Topic?" Roman asked, unlocking the car. Virgil was on his way to the passengers side.
"Work. A lot of people died apparently. Or are dying. I don't know, maybe people just like flowers." He got in and closed the door. "Deceit is on his way down."
"So is Logan, just texted him." Roman chuckled. "He isn't gonna be very happy when he sees you. He's probably still pissed." He laughed as him and Deceit walked out the door.
"Maybe so, but it's his fault for being so boring." Virgil snorted. He shifted so he was slouching in the seat.
Logan walked up to the car, glaring at Virgil the whole time. "Don't you just look so tired." He growled.
"Oh yes, so tired." Virgil sarcastically replied. He rolled his eyes and chuckled.
Deceit got in and Roman dropped him and Virgil off at the flower shop. They walked in and went straight to the back to put their stuff down and get ready for the day.

Roman parked the car. Him and Logan got out and walked to the cafe as he locked the car up. They got past the crazy mob of people.
"We don't get enough money for this..." Roman complained. He took Talyn's spot and started taking orders from people, then making their drinks.
Logan started making every order he heard from Remy's line of people. He wrote their names and set it down on the counter for them to come and pick up after calling their names.

Patton walked out of his room and downstairs. He noticed no one was home. He sighed and decided to watch some cartoons. Until he got a call from the day care, saying it was a busy day and parents can't watch their children today.
Patton walked out and sighed after realizing they took the car. But they had another. He got in and started it. He drove to the day care and parked the car. He got out and walked in, setting his bag down on the counter. He smiled brightly at the kids crawling on Joan.
Joan sighed in relief after seeing Patton. They put the kids down in his arms and walked over to him. "Thank goodness, these guys are extra energetic today." They said in his ear. "I'll be back in a sec." They walked to the kitchen to get a tiny snack and a drink.
Patton giggled and sat down on the carpet, grabbing a book off the little shelf. The Three Little Pigs. He told them to gather round, for it was "STORY TIME!" He yelled happily. (Just like Thomas ;))

Virgil walked out of the back room and smiled a tiny bit at Thomas and Terrence. He walked outside the back and snipped the ends of a few flowers before walking back in and wrapping them in a bundle. He put them in plastic and then under the mist.
Deceit grabbed a few flowers and put them in plastic vases. He helped Thomas check out customers. He smiled and nodded at each one he handed a bouquet to. And they payed as well, obviously.
Virgil sighed in irritation as he cut a few stems too short. He exhaled to calm himself and set those flowers aside. Him and Terrence continued their snipping.

Roman wiped the sweat on his forehead away. He rubbed his hands together as he took the next order. Talyn came and started helping him. His hands started to hurt from holding so many hot beverages. So they came and made drinks while he took orders, told them to them and took their money.
Logan winced in pain as he spilled some of the coffee on him. He cursed to himself and called "Jamahl." He set the drink down on the counter and listened to the next order Remy had for him. He started making it and sighed as he added the creamer, in the shape of a star.

Roman smiled at his friend Valerie walk in. "Hello miss, what would you like today." He said in a playful tone. He told Talyn her order, which he knew by heart because she always came in and ordered the same thing every time.
"Pretty busy. No wonder you have to work today." Valerie chuckled. She stood off to the side and talked to Roman until she got her drink. "I'll see you later then, Roman!"

The five boys got back home, exhausted. They all went to their signature spots on the couch and put on Marmaduke.
Virgil, unknowingly, put an arm around Roman's stomach, cuddling up to him. He rested his head on the side of his chest and yawned.
Patton took Logan's arm and rested his head on his shoulder. They all eventually fell asleep, although it was only 3 pm.

Virgil was the first up. He walked up to his room, silently to not disturb the others. He closed his door and went to his dresser. He stripped down to his briefs. He grabbed his overly large MCR shirt. He walked to his bed and stretched before crawling under the covers.

Virgil woke up early, hoping he was the only awake. He walked downstairs, closed his eyes, stretched and yawned. Once he opened them, he froze. In front of him was a wide eyed, blushing Roman. He cleared his throat and pulled his shirt down. His face was red, and it was obvious since he hadn't had his make up on yet.
Roman swallowed hard and kept staring as Virgil passed him and went to the fridge. His whole face became red as his roommate bent over to grab something out of the fridge. He quickly looked away.
"D-Do you want eg-eggs?" Virgil asked, not making eye contact. He waited a minute before getting an answer.
Roman cleared his throat. "Uhm, I want them sunny side hot- UP!" He quickly corrected himself. "Sunny side up." He gulped. He stood straight up, not slouching or anything. All his muscles were tense.
Virgil nodded and turned to turn on the stove. He grabbed the butter, unwrapped it and started spreading the end across the pan after waiting for it to heat.

The other three boys hadn't woke up when Virgil was finished cooking the eggs. He made sunny side up for Roman. He put them on a plate and handed them to him. He sat up on the counter and went through his Tumblr. He cleared his throat.
"Hey, Princey, can you come here?" His voice cracked and he blushed at the nickname, which he had only used once when they first were introducing themselves.
Roman got up from the dining table and walked to the kitchen. He looked at Virgil. "Yes?" He bit his lip.

He grabbed the upper part of his arm and pulled him over so he was in front of him. He leaned down and planted a kiss on his lips. "Your welcome for the eggs." He winked and blushed.

Roman.exe has stopped working. His whole face was a deep crimson red. He was pulled into a hug by Virgil.
He pulled away and hopped down. He walked back upstairs and to his room to put on his purple t-shirt with a few holes, which is how it was made, his black and purple patched sweater and black ripped jeans. He walked over to his desk and mirror to apply his makeup.
Virgil walked back down. He saw Roman drinking water, in the same spot where he was when the other had left. He downed the water and stopped once he had entered the room.
"Oh, hey Virge." He said, setting down his water bottle. He walked up the the emo boy. "Thank you for the eggs. And thanks for giving me VIP to Virgil town. Seeing you with no makeup was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen." He smiled down at the boy.
"Oh boy." Virgil rolled his eyes and moved to the side and walked past him.
"What? So you can be flirty and I can't?" Roman complained. "That seems hardly unfair!" He pouted.
Virgil smirked and turned around. He shrugged. "I think you'll live." He winked.
Roman ran over to him and kissed him. "Too bad."
