Valentine's Day (Logic x Morality)
Morality smiled as he watched Anxiety and Prince, who were sat close on the couch watching a Disney movie. They were currently debating the meaning behind it-they rarely saw eye-to-eye on these things. He was happy for the two, of course, but he felt sad as well. At first he wasn't quite sure of why, but slowly he began to realize how much he wished he had someone to spend this Valentine's Day with.
The more he thought about it, the more he realized he had a specific someone in mind he wanted to spend it with as well. He certainly wasn't one to deny his feelings, so of course he had noticed that he had developed them for another trait, but although he accepted it, he knew he wasn't planning to act on it, no matter how much he wished to. This specific trait, Logic, had announced on many occasions that he wanted nothing to do with emotions, that he didn't like them or want them. Morality, just like everyone else in the world, feared rejection, and with this knowledge wouldn't dare try and approach him about it.
He let out a sigh, turning away from the couple on the couch and heading to the kitchen. He needed a cookie, or two. (He always had some stashed away, where no one else could steal them. Just in case of emergencies, like this.)
"Morality?" The trait jumped, caught in the midst of getting his cookies out of the cupboard, slowly turning to find Logic behind him. Oh, how perfect, he thought.
"Logan! Hi there! I was doing anything, what brings you here?" Morality hid the cookies behind his back, and Logic only looked at him with a raised eyebrow. Morality stared back, barely holding his smile, and Logic eventually just brushed it aside, pushing his glasses up and standing straight.
"Well, I was actually searching for you. I had.. a question, to ask." He spoke very carefully, Morality noticed, like he was very carefully planning what to say before it came out.
"Well, go on then." Morality smiled assuringly. "Ask away."
Logic opened his mouth to do so, but found himself stuck on his words. He took a deep breath, and Morality noticed his face becoming red. "Are you alright, Logan?" Morality took a step closer to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Whatever it is, you can just say it."
"Well, the problem is, I.." Logic started, pausing once again in the middle of his sentence. "Well, I'm not quite sure how to word this." He admitted.
"You can take your time, I'm in no rush." Morality took the cookies from behind his back, opening the container and offering one to Logic. He accepted, and the two ate cookies as Logic thought about what to say, the both of them just awkwardly standing in the middle of the kitchen, still standing very close to each other.
"Morality," Logic began again after finishing his cookie. "We are close, yes?"
Morality nodded with a smile. "Of course we are!" Logic smiled slightly in return.
"Yes, and well.. today is a day where people typically spend time with those they are close to. More specifically, ones that they feel a romantic attraction to..." Logic looked up at Morality, hoping he was catching on. Morality was unfortunately completely oblivious, giving only a nod as he continued to listen to Logic.
Logic sighed. "I was hoping to spend time with you today, Morality." He could feel his face getting hotter by the second, and silently cursed all emotions.
"Oh, because we're such close friends!" Morality nodded his head. "Of course we can hang out today!"
"No no, you're not understanding me, Morality." Logic sighed in slight frustration-although he couldn't really get angry with Morality. "Morality." He looked him right in the eye as he spoke. "I am asking if you would spend Valentine's Day with me as my.. romantic partner."
Logic quickly averted his eyes, too embarrassed to see Morality's face. Morality was completely in shock, staring at his friend, the person he'd liked for some time now-the same person that just asked him to spend Valentine's Day with him as his boyfriend.
"Logan, I-of course I will!" Morality grinned brightly, unable to contain his excitement. He jumped to hug Logic, causing him to stumble back for a moment, gripping onto Morality so he wouldn't fall over. It took him a moment to process everything that just happened.
A sigh of relief left him, and he relaxed into Morality's embrace, a wide smile crossing his face. He had to admit, at this moment, he really enjoyed having emotions; loving Morality made him so happy.
The two stood in a silent embrace for a few minutes, before Morality pulled away a little. "Y'know, I was actually really disappointed I wasn't going to be able to spend Valentine's Day with the one I love before you asked me. I'm glad you asked.."
"You love me?" Logic replied with, blush darkening and eyes wide.
"Oh, um.. should I not have said that? I know we just became a thing and-oh no, this is what I was worried about, I-" Logic cut Morality off by pulling him back into a hug, Morality hiding his face in Logic's shoulder.
"No! That is not what I meant at all, Morality. Forgive me, I am still bad at expressing my emotions.. I love you too." He whispered, and Morality grinned widely.
"You do..?" He whispered back, and Logic nodded.
"Of course." He answered, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "What isn't there to love about you?" Morality felt himself blushing now, too.
They stood in silence for a few moments again, wide goofy smiles stuck to each of there faces. Logic finally cleared his throat, and spoke. "Well, what would you like to do on this Valentine's Day together, then?"
"Anything Logan. As long as I'm with you."
Exactly one thousand words long, lol.
This was another request, I hope you enjoyed it!
Now that people are requesting certain things for me to write, I just wanna say there are some things I just can't write about-depression, self harm, and suicide are things I don't like to write for any ship-I can't hardly read fanfics with those things in it.. so please, no requesting that! In all honestly there's so much sad fanfics for these characters I would love to just have this be all happy cute things, but if you request it I will write angsty stuff, just again with none of the things mentioned above included. And I will mention at the beginning if it's one that's sad.
I do hope people are enjoying this.. I apologize once again for talking too much. Bye!-Bob
