Stutter (Logic x Morality)
Logan hated emotions; everyone knew that. He had made it very clear a number of times. They were all unpleasant to him. Their ability to ruin your day for no reason in a split second was frightening, for sure, but the one he hated the most couldn't really even be considered a negative emotion.
Love.
The way it so strongly affected a person, from their view on not only the person they had fallen for, but also the world around them, and the way it made even the smartest of people turn into the dumbest.
Oh, and he couldn't forget, the way it caused him to lose focus of everything and how it made him unable to form a coherent sentence around the one he had fallen for. Love was an awful thing, and he couldn't quite understand why he loved it so much still.
There were many negatives to him, but he could not deny the happiness he felt being around said person, or how bright everything seemed as he found himself falling. His rather dark, logical outlook on the world had become a little more optimistic.
Despite these good things that came out of it, he still hated oh so much that whenever in the presence of this person, he couldn't help but to stutter. His words would catch in his throat, and he found himself repeating things once, twice, three times trying to get it out correctly, then forgetting altogether what on earth he was talking about. He hated how concerned the other got when he stumbled on his words like this; there was no way he could possibly explain why it was happening. "Ah, yes, I just so happened to have fallen in love with you, Morality, and can't even get a proper word out when around you."
Of course not. Except, by some cruel chance of fate, he had to explain himself.
Morality had started up the conversation, simply saying good morning to him, and despite how simple and fast this interaction should have been Logan's face heated up as he tried to get out a reply. "G-good m-mo-morning." He flinched at his own greeting, cursing all emotions silently. Morality frowned at him.
"Are you feeling okay, Logan? Your face is really red, and you don't sound too good." Morality worried, bringing a hand up to touch Logan's forehead. Logan took a hold of Morality's hand to stop him, blush worsening.
He cleared his throat, releasing Morality's arm and taking a step back. "Yes, I am f-fine." He choked out, looking down at the ground. "D-do not w-worry."
Morality sighed, taking a step closer to Logan and taking a hold of his hands, looking at him in concern. "Logan, really, if you're sick I can help. I'm worried about you, you're acting strangely."
Logan stared at their hands, biting his lip nervously, and slowly looked up to face a perturbed Morality. They were stood very close, and Logan felt nervous. He hated this, oh how he hated this. "I-I told you.." he mumbled, looking down again. He couldn't take it, looking Morality in the face. "I'm perf-perfectly f-fine. J-just.."
"Just, what?" Morality prompted as Logan trailed off, squeezing Logan's hand encouragingly.
"Well, it would seem that... e-emot-motions have gotten the best of m-me." He stared at their hands once again, then closed his eyes completely. He didn't want to face the world right now.
"Emotions? Are you feeling sad, Logan? Would you like to talk about it?" Morality interrogated, and Logan simply shook his head.
"Not sa-sadness. A-actually.." he muttered, taking a deep breath and removing a hand from Morality's grip to fiddle with his glasses. "It's.. d-difficult to explain."
Morality smiled gently at him. "Hey, it's alright Logan. Whatever it is, I can try and help you out, I know you're not the best at handling emotions."
"Th-thank you, Mor-M-Morality." He flinched every time he messed up the other traits name. "B-but, I'm.. worried t-talking about this may only cause tr-trouble."
"Keeping it held in will cause even more." Morality's smile was sad and concerned. Logan sighed.
He knew Morality wasn't going to let him leave until he talked about it.
"I.. s-suppose I'm just, nervous." He shrugged, hoping that would suffice.
It apparently did not.
"Nervous about what?" He was questioned further.
Logan paused for a minute, not sure how to phrase what he wanted to say without making it obvious his feelings towards Morality.
However, Morality spoke before he could.
"You're not.. nervous talking to me, are you? I haven't heard you stutter at all around the others.. Do I make you nervous? Is it my fault? Am I in your personal space?" Morality kept asking questions, taking a step back from Logan to give him room and looking dejected.
Logan panicked for a moment, not sure what to do. If he spoke it surely wouldn't make any sense, his stutter sure to be worse now Morality was close to figuring him out, but he wanted Morality to stop worrying and asking so many questions. Without a second thought, Logan simply grabbed Morality by the cardigan wrapped around his shoulders and pulled him in for a fast kiss, hoping that would explain everything.
It certainly worked in getting Morality to quiet down.
The room stayed quiet for a few moments that seemed to last forever, Morality seeming to process what had just happened and Logan panicking over what he had just done. What could he possibly say now?
"S-so, uhm.." Logan began nervously, but was quickly cut off as someone ya led him down by his tie, Morality planting his lips once again on Logan's, lasting longer this time. Logan relaxed into the kiss after he understood what was happening, understanding that this must mean his affections were returned.
The kiss didn't seem to last long enough, but the two's lungs demanded air, and they were forced to part, leaning heavily against each other and panting. "D-does that explain.. m-my stuttering to you?" Logan questioned, and Morality grinned.
"Well there's still no need to be nervous, Logan." He mumbled, hugging him tightly and kissing his cheek. "I obviously like you too."
"I'm glad you do." Logan smiled, wrapping an arm around Morality to return the hug, still breathing heavily. "Wh-what does this m-mean for us now?" He whispered. He still wasn't sure how any of this feelings stuff worked.
"You should probably ask me to be your boyfriend." Morality mumbled, a big goofy smile on his face. Logan very carefully pulled back from the hug to look Morality in the eyes, face burning bright, and stutter still very apparent.
"Th-then.. would you, M-M-Mo.." he paused, deciding to leave it at that. "Be my.. b-boyfriend?"
"Of course, Logan." Morality chuckled, and pulled him back in for another kiss.
