Kinda sad but I'm sure you guessed that from the title.

Logan had not had the best day today.

He had to admit, it was silly. He should not let these little things bother him, but for some reason every time something happened that didn't go his way his eyes watered up and he had this awful feeling. He knew it could be described as sadness, but he didn't understand why he was feeling this way.

Finally, something sent him over the edge. It was another small thing, it should not have gotten this reaction out of Logan but he found he could not help it as the tears gathered in his eyes spilled over, running down his cheeks as he cried. His body shook his a sob, and he wiped at his eyes, trying to control it. When he found he couldn't stop, he decided to get out of the living room where anyone could see him, heading instead to his bedroom.

Unfortunately for him, on the way there Patton tried to stop him, trying to ask him something. Logan tried to ignore him and walk past, but Patton caught his arm. Logan froze, not saying a word as Patton asked him where he was going. If he spoke he knew his voice would tremble.

"Logan..?" Patton asked softly, walking to the front of the other man, and looking him in the eye. "What's wrong?" He put a hand on the others shoulder in comfort.

"I.." Logan's voice cracked, and he tried his best to speak clearly. "I don't even know. Nothing seems to work out today, and.. well, I suppose it's made me a little upset."

"A little? Logan, nothing makes you cry. Come here, come sit with me and you can talk about whatever's going on. I'm here for you." Patton guided him into his room, the both of them sitting on Patton's bed.

He rubbed Logan's back as he waited for the other to talk, calming him enough that his words came out almost normal. When Logan felt he could, he explained the events of the day to Patton, who nodded skin and listened to every word he spoke. By the end of his speech Logan's tears were falling faster.

"I'm sorry, Logan." Patton turned so he could fully hug Logan, Logan's head resting on Patton's shoulder. "It's alright, everyone has bad days."

"I just.. I don't understand, Patton. Why am I crying over such insignificant things?" Logan questioned, voice small and broken. Patton sighed.

"Sometimes we can't help our emotions. It may seem silly, yes, but it's okay to feel sad some days." Patton assured, smiling sadly, although Logan couldn't see him. "It's okay to cry, Logan."

Logan didn't say another word for a while, just leaning into Patton's embrace, tears still falling. The only sound in the room was Patton's soothing voice with words of comfort whispered to Logan, and the latter's occasionally hiccuping. After a while Logan's tears stopped falling, and his hiccups had gone as well. Patton pressed his lips to Logan's forehead, both of their faces red.

"Thank you, Patton." Logan squeezed Patton in their hug, still not moving from it.

"It's no problem, Logan. Anything to help you."

If I make it through the day without crying over something stupid I'll be surprised tbh

Anyways I'm gonna take a nap now, I'm exhausted. When I wake up I'll try and update again today with a request but I've been working on my outline for my book instead so no promises on that.
