Meeting (Logic x Morality)
Prompt.
Patton was following Anxiety, quietly and impatiently. Anxiety was going to introduce him to two other friends he had, so they could all hang out and talk, and he couldn't wait. Patton had always enjoyed meeting new people, so of course he was excited to see who Anxiety would introduce him to.
When they finally got to where the four of them were meant to meet up, the first thing that Patton noticed was the very attractive man standing there, and he hoped that he would be one of the other friends Anxiety wanted him to meet.
"Hey," Anxiety greeted, smiling at the man and pointing to Patton. "This is Patton, and Patton, this is Logan."
"Nice to meet you, Logan!" Patton grinned, and Logan nodded back with a small smile.
"Yes, nice to meet you as well, Patton." He stuck out his hand for Patton to shake, and Patton took it. He examined Logan, and found he was doing the same. After a minute of staring the two awkwardly glanced away, cheeks flushed.
Anxiety shared a glance with his other friend, raising an eyebrow at Patton and Logan and shaking his head.
"Anyways, this is Roman." He introduced, and conversation carried on as thought nothing had really happened.

It wasn't long after that day, when the four had met, that Patton realized he was crushing on Logan. Just a small crush, he swore, and no one but Anxiety really knew anything about it. He didn't intend to say anything to anyone else, didn't think anything would happen. All four of them had become great friends, and Patton wouldn't dream of ruining that with his own silly feelings.
Of course, despite that, every time he spent time around the four of them he would get distracted by the way Logan laughed and smiled, mesmerized by his words as he spoke, lost in his eyes any time they happened to make eye contact. When they were hanging out together, just the two of them, he always wanted to just move a little closer to him, to sit by him. He wished he could hold his hand, hug him, kiss him.
Even now, as the two of them were hanging out together to work on a project, Patton caught himself gazing at Logan and tuning out his words while he was explaining. He quickly tried to pay attention, and figure out what he was talking about again but the more he tried to focus on focusing the less focused he actually was on Logan.
"Patton, can you even hear me?" Logan questioned, finally breaking Patton out of his thoughts.
"What? I'm.. I'm sorry, Logan, I've just been... very distracted today, I'll listen this time." Patton felt his cheeks light up, and he glanced at the ground away from Logan.
"Are you feeling okay?" Logan asked, frowning. "You're not acting yourself. In fact, you've been acting strangely around me the last few times we hung out as well. Is something wrong? Are you... upset with me?"
"What? Oh, of course not Logan!" Patton shook his head quickly, reaching out to touch Logan's arm assuringly. He decided not to, though, and blushed more as he pulled his arm away.
"Are you positive?" Logan seemed puzzled. "You won't even touch me, are you sure I haven't done anything to upset you?"
"Of course you haven't done anything." Patton mumbled, looking down at the ground, embarrassed. "It's just... well, it's just me. I'm just, being silly." He laughed at himself nervously.
"Patton," Logan began, looking unsure of himself. He hesitantly reached out his hand to hold Patton's. "You can tell me anything. If something is bothering you, I am here for you. I'm... aware I am not the best at handling emotions, though I do really, really care for you."
Patton looked at their hands linked together, and then up to Logan, smiling slightly. "Thank you."
"Of course. Now, do you need to talk about anything?" Logan asked. "What is worrying you?"
"Well... I, kind of have a bit of a crush on someone." He muttered, and shrugged, trying to act as if it were nothing.
"Oh?" Logan frowned. "Why is this troubling you?"
"Well, the thing is... This person, I've been friends with them for a while now. I'm afraid that... afraid that if I say anything, then things will be awkward and they may hate me. So I don't know what to do." He sighed, still staring at the floor. He hoped Logan couldn't figure out who it was.
"I don't think anyone could possibly hate you, Patton." Logan assured. "Maybe you should give it a try. You never know. May I ask though, who this person may be?"
Patton looked up, and noticed Logan had moved slightly closer. He didn't say anything, he wasn't sure if it was his eyes playing tricks on him or not, and he was too focused on the question he had asked. There was no way Patton could say that it was him.
"Well, uh... I don't know." He bit his lip nervously.
"Is there a chance it might be one of us? Me, Roman, and Anxiety?" Logan pressed, and Patton definitely noticed him moving closer this time. Logan hadn't looked away from him since he has started asking questions, and now Patton couldn't look away either.
"Maybe..." Patton whispered, staring at Logan and moving closer as well.
"Is it... is it me?" Logan hesitated, but finally said what he was hoping would be true.
"If I say it is?" Patton asked, and Logan drew in a shaky, nervous breath.
"I might tell you that I feel the same." He breathed, and Patton smiled, stopping just before their lips met.
"Then yeah. It's you." He laughed nervously again, and that was when Logan finally closed the distance between them, bringing their lips together into a long awaited kiss. It seemed like forever that they kissed, but eventually they had to break apart.
"I love you," Patton whispered, and Logan smiled, holding his hand tighter.
"I love you, too."

"And that, kiddos, is how me and your father met." Patton finished telling the story, smiling at his kids.
They hadn't been satisfied with any other bed story he had told them, and had asked to hear the story of how their dad's had met each other. Of course, Patton couldn't refuse, and here they were, finally to the end of the story.
He couldn't keep the fond smile of his face as he remembered it, and turned to look at his husband sitting next to him, holding tightly onto his hand. They both looked back at the kids, finally drifting off to sleep, and kissed each of them on the forehead before leaving to their own bed.
Once in the hall, Patton stopped Logan to pull him into a long and sweet kiss, both of them with wide smiles on their faces as they pulled apart.
"I love you," Patton whispered, leaning into Logan.
"I love you, too."
This was adorable I like writing it
It's also been in my drafts too long lol. I couldn't figure out a good way for them to meet at first. A good way I've found to come up with good ideas if you're stuck on a story is to stay up till you're so tired you act drunk and then think until you fall asleep. Just.... being careful to write down the idea because no matter what you tell yourself no you are not going to fucking remember it tomorrow why am I so stupid
Anyways. I've done nothing but watch Riverdale all day long bc I just found it and I like it and now I'm regretting that because I didn't do enough work but whatever I'll try and make up for it tomorrow. I have two more weeks to complete it.
Hope that you all enjoyed this, thanks for reading. *trips and falls on face trying to bring you a ring pop* Bye!-Bob
