Logan sighed, shaking his head in frustration and trying once more to read the sentence in front of him. Now was not the time to lose focus, he had a lot of work left to do.

He read the sentence, he saw the words, even spoke them aloud to try and focus better, but his brain just couldn't process any of it. It was like his mind had switched off on him. He groaned, letting his head fall to the table, sitting that way for a while and trying to clear his head. He needed to focus.

Virgil, who had been sitting on their bed watching him with a raised brow, spoke up suddenly. "You okay there?"

Logan didn't lift his head from the desk as he looked over at Virgil, silently asking him how he thought his current mental state was.

"Okay, no you're not. Sorry for being a concerned boyfriend." Virgil laughed, shaking his head at Logan. "You should probably take a break, y'know."

"I can not." Logan insisted, finally lifting his head from the desk and looking up at his work. He still couldn't seem to understand any of it. He groaned again, and once more set his head on the desk.

"Okay, fine." He mumbled quietly, sighing and setting his things aside.

"That took literally no convincing. Are you okay, Logan?" Virgil asked, laughing.

"No. But I am unable to focus, and sitting in that chair all day has been rather uncomfortable. I would benefit from taking a small break." Logan explained, getting up from his chair and stretching. "Also, I haven't had the chance to spend time with you, and I enjoy our time spent together."

Virgil grinned at him, patting the spot on the bed next to him as an invitation for Logan to sit there. Logan obliged, taking the spot and wrapping his arms around Virgil's waist, hiding his face in his chest. Virgil laughed at him again, and wrapped his arms around Logan. "I love you, nerd."

"I love you too," Logan mumbled, looking up at him and smiling. He leaned up to kiss Virgil, Virgil happily kissing him back.
