Boredom (Poly Sanders)
Too lazy to write all their names lol
There was nothing to do. Nothing at all, and Patton was so incredibly bored. Everyone else was busy somewhere else, Patton wasn't entirely sure what with.
He huffed, getting up from the couch where he had previously been sitting upside down, and walking off in search of one of his boyfriends. He needed someone to hang out with, even just to sit with while they worked.
The first person he found was Roman, in his room writing something down.
"Hey, Roman!" Patton greeted, walking up and standing beside him. "What are you working on?"
"Something important, I'm kind of busy though. Sorry, Pat." Roman mumbled, not looking up at him at all.
"Oh, okay." Patton frowned. "Sorry to bother you then." He sighed, and straightened up to leave him alone.
"It's alright," Roman assured, and continued working. Patton just left, moving on to Logan's room and hoping he would have the time to take a break and hang out with Patton.
"Hey," he opened the door slowly, speaking quietly. "You busy too?"
"Yes I am, Patton." Logan glanced up at him, and smiled. "I'm sorry. If there's something you need I would be happy to help you as soon as I'm done."
"It's alright," Patton shook his head, already retreating. "I'm fine, just bored."
"Alright, then." Logan turned back to his work without another word.
Patton once again sighed, and wondered if he should even try Anxiety's room. He was surely busy too, and would turn Patton away just as the others had. Still, he knew he shouldn't just assume, and he slowly made his way to the darker personality's room, knocking on the door and waiting for an answer. He opened the door after being told to come in, and smiled at Anxiety.
The other was sitting up on his bed, laptop in front of him. So he was busy, Patton frowned.
"Hey Pat, what's up?" Anxiety asked, setting his laptop to the side and patting the bed next to him. Patton felt relieved, at least one of his boyfriends would pay attention to him. He sat down next to him, and Anxiety immediately leaned into him, hugging him and hiding his face in his chest.
"Nothing, really." He shrugged. " I just got bored, wanted to talk to someone. Logan and Roman were both too busy..."
He sighed for the umpteenth time that day, holding onto Anxiety tightly.
"Too busy to talk to you?" Anxiety looked up at Patton, frown on his face, and Patton just nodded.
"They didn't really say much to me. I guess they're working on some important stuff, huh?" He gave a weak chuckle.
"Okay, that's crazy." Anxiety said, standing up and dragging Patton up with him. "Don't they realize how much that hurts? They can't be working on anything important enough to ignore you."
Anxiety started walking out of his room and down the hall to Logan's, Patton protesting and telling him it was fine. He opened up Logan's door, not letting him get a word in as he grabbed ahold of Logan's hand too, pulling him into Roman's room.
"Are you guys serious?" He demanded, and both Logan and Roman looked at each other, wondering what they did wrong.
"I'm sorry, whatever it is, but can you explain what the two of us have done to upset you?" Logan questioned, and Anxiety groaned, pacing back and forth in the room.
"All you had to do was take a break and hang out with Patton. Was that really a hard thing to do? You shouldn't just-just ignore people!" Anxiety complained, while Patton stood off to the side with red cheeks, trying to make himself smaller. Roman and Logan looked over at him, finally understanding what was going on and looking guilty.
"Oh," Roman mumbled. Anxiety glared at him.
"Yeah! What have you guys even been doing anyways?" He asked.
"That's not important. We're sorry, Patton, and we will try not to do it again. Now, what did you need?" Logan took a step closer to him, and held his hand.
"I... was just hoping to talk to you all. I just got bored." He mumbled, shrugging. "I didn't want to bother you, but when I told Anxiety he dragged me in here."
"Well, let's all join each other on the couch, to cuddle and talk! What we were doing can wait, for you Patton." Roman stepped forward too, and kissed Patton on the forehead.
"Thank you, guys." He smiled, and all of them smiled back, heading out to the living room and sitting down on the couch. They all four cuddled together, Patton in the middle of them all, and they talked and laughed together until eventually they fell asleep, happy to be with each other.
Man the ending of this sucks but like, I feel awful and wanted to just get it finished so
I actually took a really long time to write this just because I started it while I was over at my grandparents and well, got bored, and then I drove us home and tried to get some more of it done here but I just felt sick. I have an awful headache now, so I'm sure I'll go to bed soon.
I'm very happy with everything I didn't today, though. I actually got up early and went to the gym(oh my god squats are the fucking worst) with my dad, I got to drive today so that's fun. I managed to get a oneshot out, although not my best.... oh! And while I was driving I actually went through a drive thru, actually talked to someone and didn't have a horrible anxiety attack afterwards. So that-to me, I know it sounds dumb-is a very big accomplishment. I...... seriously can never talk to anybody-even just to say "thank you, have a nice day" without freaking out so when I'm actually able to I feel good about it. Often I feel like I'll never make it through life because of my social anxiety being so bad, but I do wanna work on getting better, so...
Anyways enough of me rambling on, I'm tired and dunno what I'm saying. I'm going to get some rest. Hope that you enjoyed this, thank you so much for reading. *walrus slides up to you and hands you a ring pop* (thanks to my sister, for that one theodd13yearold ) Bye!-Bob
