Christmas Poem
TRIGGER WARNING: haha none!!
I spent...two days on this? Hope it satisfies
Christmas (No Ship)
Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through the mind
Not a single side stirred,
And the Christmas tree shined.
Patton had hung
The stocking with care
In hopes that old Santa
Would soon be there
Roman was nestled,
All snug in his bed
Visions of Disney
Danced in his head
Logan in his onseie
And Patton in his
Both settled down
Such as it is
When in the living room
Some sounds were heard
That awoke our dear Patton
And his curiosity was stirred
Away in the mind
The moral side dashed
To check out and see
What exactly had crashed
Seeing the cookies
He had laid out
Patton’s eyes wander
Checking the living room throughout
When soon his sparkling
Eyes did see
Santa was there
Next to the lit up tree
With his old puffy suit
And his long white beard
Santa looked happy
As around the corner Patton peered
He took in a sharp breath
Sure to be quiet
Lest Sant leave
And take off like a bandit
Right near the tree
He placed the gifts
And then to the stockings
His gaze drifts
Going on over
Stuffing things in
Santa then leaves
As if he’d never been
Patton ran fast
Right to Logan’s room
Shaking him gently
The reason of which Logan could presume
And away went Santa
With a jolly chuckle
And as he looked back
He was happy to see the Moral side cheerful
For in that suit
Was not Santa
But alas instead
It was Deceit with his cobra
For you see as a surprise
Virgil set him up to be there
For Patton had stopped believing
And the anxious one missed the laughter in the air
And so Deceit went
To help an old friend
Bringing some joy
And some cheer he would send
Thus ends our tale
Of selflessness and light
Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night
