Triggers.. abusive relationship, guilt(?), inappropriate joke, yelling,

Emile took a deep breath then sighed as they worked on filling out their paperwork, forcing their mind to focus on the papers and not on the tingling sensations going up their arms and on their legs causing them to shift around at the strange feeling. The pushed away the thought of looking at what their soulmates had written, heaven knows what Patton would do if he learned they had done so. They jumped slightly when they heard their phone buzz and quickly picked it up, seeing messages from two different people.

Patton: I won't be home tonight
Patton: I'll see you tomorrow, love you

They sighed and quickly sent

Emile: Love you too, Patt

They pulled up the other message and hesitated.

Logan: Emile? i'm not sure if i have done something wrong that has caused you to ignore me but we were wondering if you'd like to join us for a game night? Logan and Egypt have managed to get off of work early and Roman doesn't have work this week.. could you maybe consider it? - V

They chewed on their bottom lip before they got up as they sent a message.

Emile: At your place right?
Logan: at Lo's place
Emile: Alright, I'll be there in 20?
Logan: sweet, see you then

Emile smiled and turned off their phone and put it in their pocket then grabbed their keys and wallet along with a pink pen then left, heading towards Logan's place as they twirled the pen between their fingers.

They stepped up to the front door and hesitated before they knocked on it and after a moment someone answered and they got confused, since when did Roman have a mustache? Remus tiled his head for a moment before looking further in the house and turning around as he hollered, "Roman! Someone's here!" They flinched slightly and instinctively shoved their hands in their pockets and curled in on themself, their glasses sliding down their nose. Remus disappeared right as Roman rounded the corner and rushed up to them and whooped then picked them up and rushed into the house, making sure to closed the door behind him. Virgil looked over from his seat on the table and smiled slightly before he went back to scrolling through his phone. "The smol child is here!" Roman hollered and held Emile up causing them to giggle and Virgil grinned at his soulmates antics. Logan walked into the room and rolled his eyes. "Put them down, Roman." "But-" "Now."

Roman groaned and set them down right as Egypt peered into the room, its eyes looking around before locking on Emile and smiling before disappearing again only for Remus to enter the room while holding it under one of his arms then walked over to the couch and dropped Egypt on it. It grunted and kicked Remus in the stomach which made his grin wickedly before he fake moaned and said, "harder." Roman gagged and said, "Go bother your own soulmates with that." Remus snorted and sat on the back of the couch and seemingly pulled a pen from thin air and started writing on his arm. Emile shifted their weight slightly as they felt a tingling feeling start on their wrist but ignored it and moved over to the couch and sat down.

"What has been going on, Emile?" Virgil asked as he glanced at them then looked back at his phone, missing how they visibly paled at the question.
