Triggers.. fighting

A loud roar echoed around the palace as a large dark silver dragon landed in front of it, it's solid black eyes filled with raw, unaltered, rage. Roman raced out the front doors of the palace with guards, Roman held his sword in his hand and stared at the dragon with a mix of anger and awe. The dragon roared and swiped at the guards sending them flying, Roman took a deep breath and readjusted his grip on the sword and rushed at the dragon but was quickly pinned by one of the dragon's front feet, one of the claws slightly digging into his arm. The dragon used its tail to fling the rest of the guards then glared at Roman before leaning down, baring its teeth as it growled causing Roman to wince and start squirming but the dragon put more pressure on him.

A hiss sounded from the side of the dragon causing it to snap it's head towards the noise and Roman looked as well. There was a large basilisk, it's scales were gold and yellow with hints of green. The dragon growled lowly at the giant snake and the snake hissed as it moved closer. The dragon looked at Roman and blew a puff of smoke at him then took flight and went back to the forest, leaving Roman laying on the ground with the guards unconscious and a basilisk.
