Triggers.. cheating(?), anger

Remus stood there with tears in his eyes as he watched the scene in front of him. Patton was holding Virgil close and kissing him, there was no sign of Virgil trying to get away from him. Remus let out a choked sob and took a step back, running into a table and knocking a small glass vase off of it. Virgil and Patton separate and turn to look at Remus, Patton had a smug look on his face while Virgil was conflicted. "H-how.. wh-why..? Did I do something wrong, Virge..?" Remus stuttered, the hurt was clear in both his voice and body language.

"I've never loved you, you're a disgusting human with too many problems.." Virgil said, his voice filled with hate causing Remus to flinch back and the tears fell, he stared at him for a moment before running back down the hall. Virgil swallowed thickly as a tear fell down his cheek. "Aww.. Kiddo.. no need to cry, it had to be done.." Patton cooed, and seemed to grab onto air and yank causing Virgil to make a pained noise and look at Patton.

"Don't forget our deal, Virgil.." Patton muttered and he nodded sadly, bowing his head in defeat.

It had been five months and by now all the others knew of the break up and now new couple which had resulted in all the others siding with Remus. It was the middle of the night and both Patton and Virgil had been out since early but no one else in the house cared, they were more focused on keeping Remus distracted.

Virgil stumbled in through the front door, running into the wall harshly before stumbling over his feet and falling. The others were in the living room and had watched what happened but none of them got up to help him. Virgil kept his hood up and hiding his face and got up, closing the door then going to leave but before he could leave Logan snapped. "What has gotten into you, Virgil?" Virgil paused for a second before he turned to leave. Roman growled, not very happy that Virgil had ignored Logan's question and stormed over to him and grabbed his arm, quickly turning him around. "What's your.." He trailed off when he saw the dried tear tracks on Virgil's cheeks along with the bright red handprint on his cheek.

Virgil's eyes widened and he yanked his arm away then tried to run but Roman tried to grab him again. He had missed but grabbed what seemed to be air that was freezing cold, and he yanked his hand towards his body. Virgil made a choked noise and was yanked back causing him to trip over his feet and fall to the floor then started coughing violently. Deceit's eyes widened and he got up and rushed over to the two of them and went to wave his hand between them but something stopped him and realization flashed through his eyes. "Patton found out.."

Virgil nodded as he trembled violently, still coughing. Deceit sighed and his eyes glowed slightly as he grabbed onto the invisible thing which immediately showed a faint and transparent light blue chain in his hand which faced out the further it got but one end clearly led to where Roman seemed to be holding air and the other lead towards Virgil. Roman's eyes widened and he let go and stumbled back and looked as if the air had been knocked out of his lungs. Logan moved closer as Emile and Remy lead Remus out of the room. "What's going on?" He asked, not in view of the chain. Deceit got up, still not letting go of the chain and showed what was visible to Logan, who's eyes widened.

"As you know, none of us are human and I know that you've believed Virgil to be human.. I can assure you he isn't," Deceit murmured and moved his hand down the chain and closer to Virgil's neck, now showing the shackle around his throat. Logan and Roman stared wide eyed. "And it seems that Patton found that out considering the color of the glow.." Logan stuttered as he tried to sort through his thoughts then asked, "What is he? And why couldn't I tell?" Roman watched Virgil then realization flashed through his eyes and he immediately took a step back. "Virgil is part genie and part demon.. he's very.. very likely to play games and make deals and it seems Patton made a very binding deal with him.." Deceit muttered as he inspected the shackle.
