Okay so this needs a bit of context. When I was younger, I wrote all the time. And so I went back into google docs (yes I know) and went through my old stories from 6th and 7th grade.

And BOY WERE THEY CRINGEY.

So I decided I would share this with all of you. Because it's so bad it's good. I don't know what tiny me was thinking.

This was not originally a Prinxiety story (because I didn't know what that was) and it was actually me writing about a ship of my two friends. I put me and my old crush in this story (when I was trying to convince myself that I was straight and a cisgendered female).

So long story short, I wrote a romance thing for a ship of two of my friends and now I'm sharing it with you because it's bad.

I'm changing names so it fits (kind of not really)

Virgil- My friend
Roman- My friends crush
Patton- Me
Logan- My old crush

Anyways, onto... whatever this is...

Virgil: chapter 1

I walked into the coffee shop and saw Roman  standing behind the counter. He has the cutest eyes on the face of the planet. That day after school he was walking me home and I blushed as he talked about his math class and how he loves when I ask questions for him. I was snapped back into reality when he called "next".

Roman: chapter 2

"The usual please" Virgil said with a smile. His smile is so pretty. When we were walking home I said that I LOVE when he answers questions in math for things I'm too scared to say. Of course what was going on in my head was "I love you and just wish you were my boyfriend even though we are more like siblings" but of course that's not what I said. "What are you doing after your shift?" Virgil asked as I started to make his drink. "Oh, nothing just probably going home and relaxing" I replied. Is he blushing? He must have seen me staring because he quickly looked down at the floor. "Or if you want I'm ending my shift in about..." I looked at my watch "3 minutes if you want me to walk you home" "Yes!!--- I mean yeah sure" I chuckled Today's the day... I'm going to ask him out. 

Virgil: chapter 3

As we walked to Roman's car, Roman was extraordinarily quiet. "Is something bothering you?" I asked as he looked up at me. Is he blushing? I started to blush too. "Oh, nothing but there was actually something I wanted to tell you... "

Roman: chapter 4

"We've known each other since 5th grade..." I said nervously as we got into my car. "And I wanted to go somewhere we have kind of grown-up at (in a sense)" I turned the car on as I told him to close his eyes. I'll take him to the park. I drove for a minute and we talked as I drove to the park.

Virgil chapter 5

My world was black as Roman lead me to an unknown place and sat me down. I knew exactly where we were when Roman said "you can open your eyes now" just as I did I looked into his hopeful eyes and smiled "You know I love it here but why are we here?" I said "Well, now that we are here I have something to tell you... but you can't say anything in between. Ok?" Roman said nervously "Ok" I replied

Roman: chapter 6

"Well, I just wanted to say..." My phone rang at that moment "Hold on, I have to get that" I said and blushed... "It's my mom," she asked where I was and if Virgil was with me. "Yes. He is with me... yeah, I have to go... Bye" I hung up "Anyways... I just wanted to say..." my cheeks went bright red. "Well... um... I just wanted to say... I've had a crush on you since like 5th grade"

Virgil: chapter 7

Oh My God, My cheeks turned bright red and he looked down almost defeated.  I looked at him and said "yeah... me too"

Roman: chapter 8

I wasn't sure I heard him right... I watched as he slowly looked up and I leaned towards him, he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. The kiss was light and sent sparks through my head. I slowly backed away not completely sure if I was in a dream or not. I'd been waiting for that moment for almost 10 years. I watched as he slowly exhaled and waited for my response.

Virgil: chapter 9

I didn't know what to think... everything just went so fast and I had barely any time to think. I sat there thinking I had kissed him too soon and that I should have waited until we were dating or until next year or never... "That was stupid of me I sh-" He interrupted me and kissed me again "That's what I say to your kiss... and no you shouldn't have waited." I blushed more than I already was. "I should probably go home now. My sister would kill me if she knew I was with you..."

Roman: chapter 10

We held hands as I walked him to his house. When we got there, his brother was waiting for her "WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN?????!!!!!!!" said Patton as we walked closer. "NO, WHERE WERE YOU BEEN?" asked Virgil. "I was with Lo... were you kissing????" We both blushed and I said "Possibly" Patton went inside and said "I'll leave you two alone" I kissed him goodnight (as in Virgil. Roman is kissing Virgil goodnight. I didn't have any clarity apparently)

Virgil (ft. Patton): chapter 11

When I walked in Virgil shouted from upstairs, "NICOLE!!! I NEEEEEEEED YOOOOOOU!!!!!!" "Coming!" I shouted back up. When I got to our room he said, "Virgil, Sweetie, I love you, you know this. So I'm going to ask you a question, and you have to answer truthfully. OK?" "OK" I responded, "You sister swear?" "I sister swear"

Roman: chapter 12

When I get back to my house I see Logan is sleeping and I tried to sneak into bed without him waking up. When I got into bed I let out a sigh. It was done... he knew the truth... "So, how'd it go? Did you tell him?" Logan asked as he climbed over to my bed. "Well, I did tell her... but it was nothing mu--" "Ah ah ah, Tell me EVERYTHING that happened." Logan interrupted. "It was the best night of my life! I'm so glad I told him! Turns out he liked me too, and then after he told me he did like me back... he kissed me! HE KISSED ME! It was magical and I didn't know what to think but then he said he should have waited and so, guess what, I kissed him back." I was so ecstatic and Logan just looked overjoyed and overwhelmed.

Virgil: chapter 13

"So... 1. Did y'all kiss? 2. Did he ask you out? And 3. Where were you and did you plan to tell me?" He bombarded me with questions. "Ok... so 1. Yes, we did kiss. 2. He didn't ask me out but I think he kinda did? And 3. We were at the park and I'm telling you now so does it matter?" I responded. "Ok. Spill" he said with a smirk "It was, like, the best night of my life. It was exciting and thrilling and overwhelming and confusing but it all ended up well. And I love him and he loves me too and it's exciting!" I let out a squeal and covered my blushing face inside my pillow.

Roman: chapter 14

The next day, Virgil grabbed my hand as we walked through the halls and I was surprised at first but grew to like it. He really was a risk taker. It continued for a couple of months until I decided to take a risk myself. I walked up to his locker as soon as I got out of 8th period and he looked at me and smiled... I kissed him... "I know we've been, not officially dating but I wanted to ask you... will you go to prom with me?"

Virgil: chapter 15

"You didn't give him an answer?!?!?!" Patton screamed. "I was scared, OK? I was unsure and confused. I wanted to ask you what you thought." I replied "I would say yes you should go to prom with him. You've been holding hands in the halls, kissing at your locker..." He leaned onto the post at the side of his bed, "and to be honest, I ship Y'all". "FINE..." I said as I blushed "I'll say yes"

Roman: chapter 16

Logan walked into our room seeing me on my bed. As I rolled over to face away from the door he said "man, it sucks your a loud crier... mom told me to come check on you. Are you ok?" "He said he wasn't sure if he wanted to go with me. He said he felt like it was going to fast and he wanted to wait a while." I responded, speaking through tears. "You should talk to him tomorrow. And tell him how you feel. But do it subtly." said Logan. "you know what, I will. But I'm going to go for a walk for a while."

Virgil: chapter 17

As I started running down to Roman's house that is down the road from me, I was thinking of what I would say. I know I said no during our walk home and ran away but I wanted to let you know that I messed up big-time... Big-time? No, Nicole what are you thinking? What if I sai- Just then I saw Roman walk out of his house, walk two feet then stop. "Roman!" I shouted. He turned and saw me and then sprinted away not looking back.

Roman: chapter 18

I ran down the road hearing Virgil calling after me, trying to hold back tears. I ran some more but when I heard him closing in on me I turned to see how fast she can actually run. Wow, Virgil can run. Just as I thought that I saw that I was nearing the edge of the road and made a sharp right turn.

Virgil: chapter 19

I watched in slow motion as I saw Roman take a sharp right turn and trip and fall straight on his right arm. He collapsed to the ground and let out a scream of pain. I ran up to him and called Patton and Logan for back-up. Logan comforted Roman while Patton called the police and asked calmly what had happened. I told him exactly what had happened and he started walking me back to our house. "Wait, I want to take him to the hospital," I said. "Oh, sweetie, you're not going to want to be here for that," Patton responded "But--" "Ah, ah, ah. Let's go home Nic."

Roman: chapter 20

Virgil held me in his arms as I held my broken limb. I was mad at him but I felt a sense of comfort. As soon as Logan came to my rescue he helped me up "keep him away from me." I whispered in his ear as he left to seek comfort in her brother (as in Virgil went to Patton for comfort). "He was the one who told us about you" he answered calmly. "But he's the one who's put me through this!" I screamed as I collapsed to the ground. "You need to keep calm. The ambulance will be here soon. The adrenaline hasn't worn off. Just calm--" "I DON'T WANT TO CALM DOWN! I JUST WANT DAD TO BE HERE!" I screamed

Virgil: chapter 21

Patton let me cry on his shoulder as I waited for Logan to call Patton like he said he would. I heard his phone ring and lunged for it "Answer it! Answer it!" I screamed. "Hello? Logan? ... Oh, good... yeah, I can... sure be right there... ok... love you too... bye." He hung up and took a breath.

Roman: chapter 22

I woke up in the hospital bed with a cast on. I looked around hoping this was only a dream. I watched the doctor's walk by the window of my hospital room and saw Logan just out the door. He was talking to someone. I couldn't quite see who. All I saw was him looking through the window at me and then the door handle turned. Oh great, here he comes I thought as Virgil walked in. He looked confused but relieved. And I saw Patton and Logan watching through the window. A smirk on Logan's face.

Virgil: chapter 23

I walked into Roman's room and saw him glare at me. "Look, I know this is all my fault..." I saw Roman turn away and I choked up, tears welling in my eyes. "I just wanted to say... I wish I could go back before all this and fix it..." I felt a tear roll down my cheek. "I wish I could go back and say 'yes I'd love to go to the prom with you'. And I wish I could stop this pain I've caused you. And I wish..." I couldn't go on... not with the way he wasn't responding and the way I was crying in front of him.

Roman: chapter 24

I heard Virgil start to cry and I turned back around and hugged him. "I overreacted and this totally isn't your fault. It's mine for pushing you away and you don't have to apologize" He looked up at me and I kissed him to assure he was ok. I looked over at Logan and Patton and they high-fived. I gave him a smug look and then they came in. "I see you have made up so we will be going." Patton grabbed Virgil's arm and walked away. Virgil looked angry and I chuckled.

Virgil: chapter 25

I looked out the window angrily as Patton drove home. "Why did you make us leeeeeeeeave? I was just starting to reconnect!!!!!!" I said "Oh come on... you know he was still (kind of) mad at you. I mean you know how he is. We keeps his problems close--" "But his friends closer... I know. If you forgot us four came up with that in 8th grade." I interrupted. "I get that you're still hurt and that you don't know what to do but it takes time to start a relationship and there will be bumps along the way." Just then we heard sirens in the distance. "Tornado sirens? We haven't heard those since 9th grade." Patton said. "We need to go get Roman and Logan," I said with no pause.

Roman: chapter 26

"Are those tornado sirens?" Logan asked. "Call Virgil right now," I said immediately. "Dude, they live like 20 minutes away and they left 15 minutes ago. They are going to--" "Where's my phone? Give me my phone." I interrupted. I grabbed my phone and called Virgil. "Hello?" Virgil answered. "How close to your house are you?" "Well, we are almost there, but--" "ah, ah, ah. You are not coming back here if you are close to your house." I said "but-" "NO. you will be safer at your house then you will be here." I said "Fine...I love you." He responded. "I-I love you too."

Virgil: chapter 27

I smiled and hung up the phone. "We aren't allowed to go back to the hospital." I said "good," Patton responded. When we got home Patton called Logan and I sat anxiously and waited for his response. "mhm ... yeah... ok... talk to you later" he hung up "so, he feels better and is furious at me and Logan but he still wants to go to the prom with you." I was so excited and I thought my head was going to explode. "He is going to be back at school on Thursday of next week," she said. I froze. But wait

I'm going to go ahead and point out the stupid things that I did.

1. What the fwuh, why did it move so fast
2. Apparently I liked angst back then too so I put in a FUCKING TORNADO
3. I also apparently didn't  know how hospitals work? Like why is there just a glass wall looking into the room? Why?
4. They kissed in the hall all the time but they weren't together? You know how many questions that would bring up? Too many!
5. I repeated like everything I wrote in this story at least twice
6. I didn't know how line breaks worked or how to wrITE DIALOGUE

What the everlasting fuck was this story?

Also I didn't change anything but names and pronouns in this. So all of the story and grammar and wording is the exact same.
