Roman started at his phone screen before replying to Virgil's message.

Princey💗; You

Emo nightmare💜: you can't mean that

Princey💗: I do.
Princey💗: I'm breaking up with you.

Virgil started at his screen in shock. He and Roman were going steady for a while and it was great. He didn't think he was doing anything wrong. He really loved Roman.

Emo nightmare💜: why?

Princey💗: your a burden and I never loved you. I just played around and made myself feel good. You are always so clingy and I can't stand you.

Princey💗 changed Emo nightmare💜 name to Virgil.

Princey💗 blocked Virgil.

Virgil changed Princey💗 name to Roman

Virgil sat on the stairs. The house was full of despair. Logan and Patton were still together. They were going steady. Just like he and Roman had been.

Virgil choked out another sob. He had been crying for almost 2 days straight. His makeup was cried off and he was just a mess.

Roman hadn't even been out of his room for two days.

Virgil thought of all of the good times he and Roman had before they broke up. All of the paintings and Disney movies, all of the singing contests and imagination walks, all of the... intimate moments they had shared together.

Virgil cried more. He thought it was going so well. But I guess not.

Roman came out of his room and saw Virgil. I'm doing this to save you he thought as he walked past Virgil with a stoic expression. He went into the kitchen.

Virgil choked back a sob. It broke romans heart. Virgil breathed heavily. He cried some more. Virgil couldn't move and just stayed staring at Roman.

Roman grabbed some Crofters and a spoon and walked into his room.

He doesn't do that unless something is wrong? Well I mean we broke up but he broke up with me so it shouldn't affect him much. Virgil thought.

Roman got to his room and slid down the door. He started crying and eating spoonfuls of Crofters. He wished that deceit hadn't threatened him with hurting and corrupting Virgil if they didn't break up with him.

Roman tried to hold back a giant sob, but it came out as a loud whimper.

Virgil heard this whimper. He got up and walked to Romans door. He hesitated knocking.

"R-Roman?" Virgil asked in an almost sob, "are you alright?"

Roman covered his mouth to hold back sobs. He hadn't heard Virgil's voice in two days and it was hell not being able to hold and kiss him. He slightly whined.

"I know that you don't-" Virgil let out a sob "love me anymore, but I'm still here for you. And I still love you" he said the last part in a whisper.

Roman got up and grabbed the handle of the door.
Dont open it. Remember deceit.
You know what, fuck deceit.

Roman threw open the door, grabbed Virgil, pulled him into his room, slammed him against the door, and kissed him passionately. Virgil kissed back almost immediately.

"God I love you," Roman said with a loving sigh.

"I thought you- hated me!" Virgil sobbed. Roman caressed his cheek and shushed Virgil calmly.

"No no no storm cloud, it was deceit, he wants to back and he threatened to corrupt you if I don't break up with you, I'm so so so sorry for making you feel like that for two days."

Virgil just sobbed into Romans chest and hugged him tightly.

Roman brought him over to his bed and sat down with Virgil in his lap. They stayed like that for a while.

They eventually fell asleep like that, all curled up next to each other.
