Emotionless (Logan Angst)

Alright here's Logan's angst chapters and I won't put myself in a box by putting a song over it.

Also I'm writing all of these in a slightly different style depending on how I vision the characters to say/write if they were in this situation.

TW: mention and description of overdose/pill abuse.

~~~~~~~~~~~
There was a knock on the door. It was fast and repetitive.
Patton
Logan got up from his neat desk and opened the door
"What do you need assistance with, Patton?" He asked calmly.
"Well me and the kiddos wanted to invite you to a movie night after dinner! How would that sound?" Patton asked with a large smile, practically bouncing off the walls waiting for Logan's response.
Emotions, the bane of my existence.
"First of all, the proper grammar would be 'the kiddos and I', and second, I have too much work to do tonight. I cannot spare any time to watch a fictional movie filled with nonsense." Logan said back, emotionless in the face of others.
He tried his hardest to not let emotions get in the way of his work. And so far it was working. No one saw through his walls. Not even Patton, the very being of emotions. Or if he did he didn't mention it.
The day went by without a single knock on the door. Not even when he could smell the delicious food that was being made and when he could hear the boisterous laughing of Roman and Patton and Virgil at dinner. Not even when he could hear the movies that they were watching and the commentary from all of them. He just kept on working. Until he could no longer focus on the work and needed to sleep. So he did.
When he woke up he was still in his room. And no one was there. He had kind of hoped-
But hope was an emotion.
And he couldn't have those.
He was logic.
Not morality.
Or creativity.
Or anxiety.
Logic.
He sighed.
Then he heard voices.
Preposterous. He was all the way in his room and it sounded like whispering. But whispering coming from the other side of the door.
"He's just so robotic." One of the people, who he assumed to be Roman by the sound of it, said quietly.
"Yeah, I try my hardest to show him that I care and that he can let down his walls for me, but he just pushes me away and makes it so hard to be able to actually want to hang around him," Someone who sounded like Patton said, just above a whisper, "I mean he was really cool before he started to hide everything from us. But recently he's just been really to himself and always working. And I know that it's supposed to be better for Thomas, but he just doesn't even take us into account. He's just acting so emotionless."
Logan couldn' believe his ears. He never thought that he could ever feel so broken by two simple words. Two words that he had wanted to hear and be known as. But they just hurt so much.
Emotionless.
Robotic.
He felt like he was in a car wash. Being beaten around by large things. He couldn't identify where they were coming from and was just confused. He felt his face.
Tears.
Emotionless.
Robotic.
He wasn't allowed to have emotions. He was Logic and therefore not allowed to cry. That showed he wasn't
Emotionless.
And
Robotic.
He needed to fix this. And quickly. He rushed into his bathroom. He opened the cabinet quickly and took everything out of it. He pulled out a small bottle of pills. One small enough to fit inside the palm of his hand and be hidden if he were to clench his fist. He heard a loud knock at the door.
"One second!" he called with an extremely shaky voice.
He quickly pulled out two of the tiny swallowable pills with his violently shaking hands and shoved them into his mouth. He quickly swallowed them and went to the door. He took a breath and opened it, feeling the pills quickly start to take effect.
It was Patton.
Again.
He looked at him and his chest started to hurt again.
"Salutations Patton. Sorry for the wait, what did you need assistance with?" he asked calmly.
"Oh no it's totally fine! I just-" He examined Logans face more carefully and saw the streams of water freely flowing down his face. He quickly stepped towards Logan, his face contorting with emotion and concern, "are you crying?"
Logan quickly felt his face and felt the wet feeling against his fingers. He felt his heart pound and his chest swell with pain and his head swim in emotion. His eyes widened quickly and he slammed the door before Patton could step any closer.
"Logan! What's going on? I'm getting really worried!" Patton shouted through the door.
Logan rubbed his eyes again as he rushed back to the open pill bottle in his bathroom. "I'm fine Patton!"
He rushed to pick out 5 or 6 pills from the bottle and shoved them down his throat. There was a thick silence all around him as he swallowed. He took a few gulps of tap water from the spout and he went to walk out of the bathroom, only to have his vision swim with black.
He rushed to get out of the bathroom and upon being out and in the middle of the floor, he fell over and was instantly very tired and way more relaxed. He was just laying on the ground.The last thing he saw was Roman rushing through the door before he was pulled though the ground and into darkness.
(954 words)
That was much better than the last one in my opinion. Still not my best but it's getting there.
I've been having an insane amount of anxiety about everything that's been happening in the world (a lot of that is because all of the cities and communities near mine are being quarantined) and I have been writing a lot of angst but I will post more frequently now because my school is all online so I can have more time for that now mostly I guess.
Anyways!
Stay happy and healthy during these weird times!
Hope you have a great day/night lovelies!
