All I Ask Of You (Prinxiety)

The Phantom of the Opera~

My goals in life is to sing like Christine (Phantom of the Opera) and Jean Valjean (Le Mis). Which parts? All of them.

I just watched the phantom on YouTube (it's gone now and I'm sad) and I have at least some inspiration.

But my parents bought it on Apple TV so now I can watch it!

"Well Roman, do you like Virgil?" Logan inquired.

"No! That's absurd! That emo? I would never have such low standards!" Roman shouted back, obviously surprised but flustered at the accusation.

For someone who is the embodiment of creativity and romance, he sure is clueless. Logan thought as he came up with a plan.

"You know what? Close your eyes."

Roman looked at him with a questioning look.

"Come on you big baby, nothings going to happen. Just trust me and close your eyes."

Roman gave him one last look of curiosity and distrust before he sighed and closed his eyes.

"Now imagine your perfect boyfriend. What does he look like? What does he act like? Who is your perfect boyfriend?" Logan asked.

Roman stayed silent for a while until he spoke up and his voice was soft. His eyelids moved as if he was looking around at the darkness that was his vision.

"He... is beautiful. He has these eyes... those gorgeous eyes. They look like a wheel of just... pure lavender. His eyes could melt any person who was attracted to males. His smile, though he rarely shows it, is beautiful too. His face curls around it as if it is the most important feature on his face. He has this... hair that shines in the sun and is a dark purple. He is just magnificent." With every word Roman said, his smile grew larger and larger and his face became dusted with more red.

"That's good, now what is he like? How does he act? What does he like?" Logan asked calmly.

"He is mysterious," Roman said with no hesitation, "but he's kind. He has this... facade that is mean and snarky but he's just a huge puffball. He likes singing, though he rarely sings in front of anyone. He is kind and caring and calms me down when he has to, but most importantly, he's willing to see my flaws and accept me for who I am. He's almost like V-"

Roman cut himself off and blushed a bright red. He rubbed the back of his neck and stuttered for a second. Logan just smirked all knowingly.

"Well! It's time for you to leave!" Roman said as he pushed Logan off of his bed and out the door.

Roman was left gayly panicking and just blushing like mad.

"He what?" Virgil asked with wide eyes.

"He totally likes you Virge! Logie was telling me last night about how he was describing you when Logan told him to describe his perfect boyfriend!" Patton said and grabbed Virgil's hands, looking excited.

"Well it could have just sounded like me. There's no way he actually likes me." Virgil said as he looked down to the floor.

"Tell me, is there anyone else you know that is 'mysterious but kind', 'likes singing but rarely sings in front of anyone', and 'willing to see my flaws and accept me for who I am'?" Patton asked, impersonating Roman is his most fanciful actions.

Virgil blushed brightly and shot Patton a glare (or more like tried to shoot him a glare).

"Exactly! Who else could he be talking about?"

Virgil took a second and then smiled a lovesick smile.

Roman was in the imagination, listening to Phantom of the Opera, when his favorite song came on. One of the things he did in his free time was go into the imagination and dance around to the songs of musicals, as he could make the scene change with just a snap of his fingers.

All I Ask Of You was Romans favorite duet of all time. But he never had anyone to sing it with. He started singing the first verse

"No more talk of darkness
Forget those wide-eyed fears
I'm here, nothing can harm you
My words will warm and calm you,

Let me be your freedom
Let daylight dry your tears
I'm here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and to guide you."

Little did Roman know, Virgil had heard from the hallway. Virgil slowly opened the door with as much confidence he could muster and walked onto stage, closer to Roman.

One of Virgil's guilty pleasures is that he likes to sing the female parts of songs and Christine's part is one of his favorites. Virgil can go incredibly high in his falsetto range.

"Say you love me every waking moment,
Turn my head with talk of summertime,
Say you need me with you now and always,
Promise me that all you say is true
That's all I ask of you."

Roman was taken back to say the least. Virgil coming into his room and singing with him. And Christine's part nonetheless! And singing it perfectly!

Virgil had walked over to Roman and was now holding his hands in his own. They were close together now. Just as the choreography was laid out.

He almost lost his place and quickly scrambled to sing the next notes.

"Let me be your shelter,
Let me be your light,
You're safe, no one will find you,
Your fears are far behind you."

Virgil rushed away from Roman, and went to the edge of the stage.

"All I want is freedom,
A world with no more night,
And you, always beside me
To hold me and to hide me."

Roman walked closer to him.

"Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Let me lead you from your solitude
Say you need me with you, here beside you
Anywhere you go let me go too,
Virgil, that's all I ask of you." Roman sang and got down onto his knees.

"Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Say the word and I will follow you." Virgil sang and grabbed his hands, pulling him up and looking into his eyes.

"Share each day with me,
Each night, each morning." They both sang and danced around stage.

"Say you love me!" Virgil sang.

"You know I do." Roman said and caressed his cheek.

"Love me, that's all I ask of you!"

And as the music took over, they, true to the choreography, held each other and kissed slowly.

They didn't pull back until the end of the song. They had missed the ending lyrics, but neither cared.

(Lunch break nOm nOm nOm)

Once they pulled apart, they both still held each other and looked into each other's eyes.

"I take it that you like me?" Roman asked a little hesitantly.

"What gave you that idea?" Virgil said and kissed him again.

(1151 words)

I didn't know how to finish this chapter, but that's the best I could do for that.

Also I'm proud of myself, in the song The Phantom Of The Opera, I can sing almost all of Christine's really high riff part (minus the last note)! Maybe not well... but I can do it.

Anyways! Have a great day/night lovelies!
