I tried. I really tried and I really struggled!

Warning: neglect, one sided love, insults, bad fighting scene.

It's been a month since Roman left to the dark side and Patton and Logan tried everything to get him back.

Roman can remember one of the encounters. How could he not?

"Roman! Come back this instant!"

"No Patton! I'm happy here!"

Logan sighed, "Roman, Deceit is physically incapable to to tell the truth so no doubt he's lying about the relationship!"

"Not to mention Remus is disturbing! Unlike Deceit, Remus has no reason to be an actual side!"

Roman glared, "get out! How dare you insult my boyfriend and brother!"

He knew if Virgil was here he would have stopped them, he would have helped.

"This is why I left! I left because of you!" Roman was incredibly angry, so angry that his face was red.

Patton glared, "they're corrupting you-"

"You've done that already!"

He was still angry after that little mishap.

So, after months of being ignored, when Thomas finally needed him, desperately needed him he didn't show, too angry to even look at Patton or Logan.

"Where's Roman?" Thomas asked confused, looking at the corner where he should have been.

Patton shrugged his shoulders, "possibly in bed." He lied.

Logan sighed, "or off fighting a dragon witch."

Virgil however, never shied away from the truth, "he's with the others because we all neglected him, you included. Not to mention Logan and Patton made it worse when they insulted his boyfriend and brother." He felt his blood curdle at the mention of the boyfriend.

He always has, don't get him wrong! He's happy for Deceit and Roman, he truly and really is! But at the same time... he didn't like it, for some reason.

"Well, you try to bring him home, Virgil." Logan said, pushing his glasses up.

Virgil sighed and sunk down, he wouldn't bring him home since he was home, but he needed to get him to show up when he's needed.

"Where are you going?" Asked Remus, seeing Virgil walk up to him.

"Can I speak to Roman?"

Remus laughed, "of course not! After what Patton and Logan did?!"

"I'm not like them... I just need to talk to him."

The moustached side laughed, "I'll fight you if I have to."

"I don't want to fight you..." Virgil frowned, as Remus summoned his mace.

Sighing, Virgil raised his hands as purple smoke surrounded his hands.

Remus ran at him as Virgil dodged the attacked and tripped him, he was putting in minimal effort due to not wanting to hurt him.

He eventually knocked Remus out and managed to walked right past Remy, who was in full on panic mode, trying to wake Remus up.

Virgil sighed when he saw his former friend Deceit, "Virgil. You've already hurt them, leave now."

"I can't Dee... Just let me talk to him." There it was again, his blood boiling and curdling.

Deceit raised his fists and so did Virgil, frowning again.

Anxiety ran at him, but Deceit didn't back down and instead threw a punch, making him back up.

Virgil kept throwing punches wildly, hoping one would hit him and as he was his anger was building up.

He wanted to beat the stupids snakes face in and all he saw was red.

"Deceit? Virgil?"

The two looked up, Deceit strangling Virgil who was pinning him down, Virgil got off of him and stared at Roman like he was a god.

'Shit...' Virgil thought, 'I love him...'

"Virgil? What are you doing here...?"

Virgil shuffled, "I really want you to come back..." He didn't mention Logan and Patton in fear it would make him angry again.

"Why?"

"Because...." Even if it was one sided... "I like you..."

Roman waited, "oh? Is that the only reason?" Virgil stared, "well sorry, I'm taken." He pulled Deceit to his side gently, "so get a better reason to bring me back!"

Virgil looked down as Deceit sighed, "Virgil just go."

"I-I'm sorry to have disturbed you." He ran out and past Remus and Remy.

"What happened?" Asked the moustached side.

Remy didn't waste a second before pulling him into a hug, "thank god you're ok!"

Remus blushed, "y-yeah..."

A week later Roman cuddled Deceits side, watching Disney as Remus and Remy sat incredibly close.

"I should've brought my ultimate collection when I came here..." Roman mumbled.

Deceit grinned, "we can go there if you want?"

"You wouldn't mind?"

"Of course not, my love!"

The four snuck in and up the stairs of the light house and snuck into Romans old room.

They hunted for the DVDs quietly and Roman even found his crown.

It surprised Creativity to see the room spotless still.

The door opened suddenly making the others gasp.

"Roman?"

It was Virgil at the door, his black eyeshadow was completely down his cheeks and he was wearing his old jacket and he was practically white.

"Virgil? What happened?"

Virgil stared quietly, until he sighed, "nothing... it's just Patton isn't as nice as he used to be after I failed getting you back..."

"Anxiety!" Shouted Patton's voice.

"Give me a second Patton! I need to... put on pants!" He shouted back, lying.

Deceit, Remus and Remy rushed past Virgil, as Roman slowly moved forward, "you could come with us."

"They don't like me after I tried to 'kill' them last week...."

"Virgil-"

"Anxiety!" Logan was next to them making Virgil jump back.

"H-hey Lo."

Logic saw Roman, "finally you're back!"

"I'm not back." In a moment of heroism, Roman grabbed Virgil's arm, "I'm taking Virgil with me."

Virgil looked up and smiled all the whole Logan glared, "he isn't going with you!"

"You can't stop him, Logan."

"I'm going..." Virgil smiled.

Logan glared as Virgil walked past him, followed by Roman as they walked out.

"I'm warning you Virgil-"

"Shut up, nerd!" Roman shouted, wrapping his arm around Virgil's shoulder meeting up with his boyfriend outside.

The three looked at Virgil as Roman kisses Deceit, "Can Virgil stay with us?"

"Of course." Deceit answered, madly in love with Roman.

Remus wrapped his arms around Remy securely as Virgil smiled in shame, "I'm sorry for last week really I am..."

"Do it again, I dare you." Remus glared as the two left.

Roman smiled as Deceit kisses his cheek, "come on Virgil." The two also walked off.

Virgil followed, not looking back.

Besides he'd rather be friends with Roman then hated. And maybe? Jus maybe, he can become friends with them again?
