*finally writing one after a year  prompts are no longer by the person in the description*

roman  sits in his room feeling an unnatural amount of feelings. Patton entered his room without knocking to see his mess of a boyfriend laying on the floor 

" i hold you hold you closer then i ever knew i could do " roman spoke as he looked up at his boyfriend with sorrow in his eyes and less of a smile on his face "but i'm confused" the words slipped from his mouth with a sad undertone to it 

"i thought i'd recognize when love was true but i'm confused" a tear rolled down his face and his boyfriend layed his soft palm against his cheek 

"am i ready for love or maybe just...a best friend" more tears spilled from his eyes as the words rolled off tongue 

"should there be a difference" he looks at Patton 

Patton responds with a soft"no" before his boyfriend continued with what he was saying 

roman stands up back hunched and  with an unusual posture 

"maybe i'm stuck on what i see on TV i grew up on Disney but this don't feel like Disney" roman hugs himself to cope with the pain he feels till Patton opens up his arms for a hug and roman immediately  falls into it  

"they say i turned out fine i think i'm still turning out"roman cries out 

"in my mind I thought the birds would sing and sparks would fly" he speaks gesturing to the roof above there heads 

"But it's just quiet..." roman says his head lowering in defeat 

"Am I cruel?" he questions 

"no of course your not cruel" Patton responds as  fast as he can before his boyfriend more 

"Or am I ignorant or was I fooled by the stories i knew"

roman collapsed to the floor and out of Patton's arms 

"they say i turned out fine i think i'm still turning out"

roman feels patton dragging him up to comfort him again  

patton gives a dismal sounding but somehow positive response to his boyfriends words prior 

"I hope you stick around we're gonna figure it out" he lets out a warm smile to his boyfriend 

"Who can I turn to now?"

"me of course i'm always here for you"

the two huddle together and hug each other to make them feel cheerful again 

"I'm a little kid, and so are you

Don't you go and grow up before I do" 

everything slips there mind and there left smiling in each others arms
