On one hand, this was a very normal night for them. On the other, this was extremely abnormal.

Ann crossed his arms and smirked. "Alright," he started, capturing the attention of those in the room. "All who think I should start my homework, tell me that I'm not cool. Those who think I should be able to waste a few hours doing nothing worthwhile, yell that I am very cool." He sat back in his chair, satisfied.

He and Mo, his dad, had been arguing for a while now on whether or not he should start his homework. Roman, his boyfriend, was having dinner with them and was trying his best to stay out of the fight. Logan, his other dad, was just trying to eat dinner.

There had been another argument earlier that week on whether or not Ann was "cool". He, of course, was on the "definitely not" side whilst everyone else was telling him that he was. It was an unfair fight, being outnumbered like that. Now, however, it could turn the tables.

Mo sighed. "You're not cool," he ground out, staring Ann down. "Cool kids do their homework.'

The boy scoffed. "Maybe I don't want to be cool!" He pouted.

"Maybe you wish to be grounded!"

"You can't tell me what to do!"

"I'm your father, therefore I can and will." Mo looked to Logan helplessly. "Logan, back me up on this, please."

Logan reluctantly looked up from his very interesting plate of food that wasn't a part of this fight. "Ann, you're not cool. Happy? Now do your homework."

"Hah, I knew you all thought I was uncool as f- heck!" Ann teased, doing his annoying little smirk again.

Roman joined in then. "I think you're very cool," he said, clearly confused as to what exactly what was going on but not allowing his boyfriend to say anything bad about himself.

Ann turned to him. "Sorry, I can't hear you, as you can only say something if it's a 'you're not cool' or 'YOU'RE VERY COOL'. While shouting, might I add." He placed his hands on his hips and smirked.

"Fine," Roman grumbled, standing up. "YOU'RE VERY COOL!" he shouted at Ann, and then immediately burst into laughter at his shocked face.

Mo mock-gasped. "Roman, don't lie to him!"

"If I had have known that my son was dating a bad influence, then I would've done something earlier," Logan commented, grinning. It appeared that even he was starting to enjoy this.

Roman, not wanting to face the wrath of either, quickly gulped. "Uh, sorry, but you're not cool." He shot an apologetic look over to Ann.

"Traitor," the boy muttered. He didn't have to look to know that his parents were wearing matching cocky grins.

"Ann, I love you and everything, but you need to do your homework." Roman got out of his seat and went over to him. "We can do it together?" He just seemed to realise that both Mo and Logan were still there. "Uh, if that's okay with you two?"

Logan nodded and mouthed "get out of here quick", motioning for them to go.

Taking the hint, Ann grabbed Roman's wrist and dragged him away, but unfortunately, not fast enough for them to miss Mo calling after them to "use protection!"
