Logan's pov
I had headphones just like Virgil's. I usually used them when I was alone so that no one could hear if I started singing. I sung along to music a lot. I had a very large vocal range and my favourite song was a thousand years. It was so sweet. It made me think of Patton. Especially the first verse. It reminds me of how I'll never have him. How his smile was so beautiful and I wanted to cry every time I saw it because it was never me who made it happen. I walked up to my room with a coffee, prepared to work and sing along to the bittersweet song.

The opening bars played and I relaxed, my mind more at ease.

Tears began to well up in my eyes as I tried not to break down, the song had so much power to it. I closed my eyes and continued to sing.

The instrumental played and I thought I heard someone enter the mind, I thought nothing of it and continued, my eyes still closed gently.

I heard the click of a door being opened, I lowered my voice, I didn't want to be heard.

I thought someone else was in the room with me but I shook it off.

My eyes fluttered open to see Patton looking intently at me, his face was flushed and I realised that he had heard me singing. I covered my mouth and blushed. He knew that I could sing... it was definitely going to be out to everyone soon. I felt my lip quiver as it usually did when I was on the brink of tears. They welled up on my eyelids, threatening to spill over. Patton saw and panicked.

Patton's pov:
Logan looked like he was going to cry. I didn't know what to do for a moment. I rushed over and picked him up, dropping on his bed with him in my lap. His face was red and hot, tears began to spill from his eyes and his body was racked with sobs, he leaned into me and I hushed him, rubbing his back with one hand and playing with his hair with the other. I relaxed a little when the sobs turned into hiccups and sniffles.

"What's the matter Logan?"
"I-I just.... no one's ever heard me sing before and I was terrified that you didn't like it."
"Now why would I not like listening to someone as wonderful at singing as you."
"I-I'm not that good am I?" He looked up at me, a strange vulnerability in his eyes. I smiled, how was he so perfect?
"You've got the best voice I've ever heard, better than Roman"
"R-Roman? But he's amazing!"
"And you are better."

Logan blushed, hiding his face in my tear stained shirt.

"You're the best person the world could ever wish for"
"L-lo-mnph!"

I felt his lips on mine. He tried to pull away but I pulled him back, kissing him deeply. He pulled off of my lips and gasped for air. My head began reeling, my face was flushed and my heart was pounding. I was also panting slightly when Roman burst into the room. He looked at us ,took a picture with his phone that had been in his hand and ran off. We heard him yelling for Virgil.

"You owe me $20 Virge!! I've got a pic to prove it!!"
I smiled and laughed. Logan laughed with me, the way his eyes scrunched up when he laughed made me want to kiss him again. I did. Our mouths fit perfectly together. I smiled and pulled off.

"Logan, will you do me the honour of being my boyfriend?" He looked at me, slightly shocked. His lips seemed to have swelled slightly, he blushed and said the most cheesy and scientific thing possible.

"Does Frankium cause a catastrophic explosion upon contact with water?"
"Yes?" I said, uncertainty lacing my voice.

"Well then there's your answer." He answered smugly, his lips pressed against mine once more as my heart soared above the moon.
