Logan didn't understand what was wrong with him. He was happy with Patton and their adopted son, Roman. So why was he so torn up over this other guy? The guy in question was a fellow doctor by the name of Virgil. The two spent a lot of time together and Logan realised he was developing romantic feelings for the other man. Logan was terrified. What if Patton found out? How would he explain to Patton that he loved someone else? Don't get the wrong idea, Logan was still completely hopeless around Patton, but he liked this other guy too. Well, if he confessed, maybe he would be able to move on.

"H-hello, Virgil."
"Oh, hi Lo."
"I must come clean about something. I-I have developed..."
"Oh, God. I didn't know you were sick. Logan, you should go home!"
"No, I'm not sick. I-I'm in love... with you"
"But... you have a boyfriend."
"I-I know, and I love him, I truly do, but... I love you too." Logan looked down at his hands, tears springing to his eyes and slipping down his cheeks. Virgil took his shaking hands.

"Logan... have you considered polyamory?"
"P-polyamory?"
"Yeah, you know,  romantic relationships with multiple people simultaneously."
"I-I guess..." Logan sighed and looked up at Virgil. "I-I should tell Patton, shouldn't I?"
"Yes, you really should. Make sure you let him know that you love him though"

"Patton, love. I have something... I need to confess"
"I knew you were stealing my cookies"
"W-what? No... it's that... I love you."
"Oh, I love you to Logi-bear"
"And I have feelings for a colleague."
"W-what?"
"Don't mistake this for me trying to break up with you. I love you very much. I just... love him too."
"Who?"
"Virgil. The man I invited to the Christmas party two years ago?"
"I-I guess I should confess that I sort of like him too."
"Well that's great to hear, especially since I have feelings for you too." Logan and Patton looked to the doorway to see Virgil leaning against it. Logan quirked an eyebrow.

"Your son let me in. He said you'd be in here."
"It seems we must remind him not to let people in without knowing them personally, yet again."
"I showed him my badge" Virgil indicated to the badge that was pinned to his shirt. Logan sighed and removed the pin, handing it to Virgil.

"What have I told you about wearing the pin out?"
"Don't do it"
"So why do you continue to ignore me?"
"I don't ignore you, I just don't listen to your advice" Virgil chuckled as he sat down. Logan joined him on the couch, sitting between Virgil and his boyfriend.

"So... does this mean we're..?"
"Dating, if you want." Logan smiled at the thought.

Logan smiled wider as he laid down between his boyfriends. Virgil was holding onto Logan's shirt and murmuring in his sleep. Patton was laying on his side, sleep tousled hair and mouth open just a little. Logan kissed both of them and drifted off to sleep. Yeah, he loved both of them.
