Creepy Crawly death dealers (slight analogical)

Look, I just like the idea of Logan having an attachment to an animal and getting upset when it dies/ goes missing and the others comforting him.
~Jay

Logan had it in his hands. A small spider, nothing about it was harmful, but it terrified everyone else nonetheless. Logan looked fascinated. He took it into the hall and they assumed it had been placed outside.

The next day, Logan came downstairs with an enormous tarantula in his hands. He was staring at it intensely, cooing at it and treating it like it was a small child. Virgil stayed well away. Roman shrieked when he first saw it. Patton refused to be in the same area as the thing. Logan remained focused on the arachnid, cuddling it like a child and petting it as one as well. Logan clearly wasn't afraid in the slightest of the hairy eight legged "beast" (Roman's words, not mine) in his hand.

Over the course of the next month, Logan didn't stop showering love and attention on the arachnid like it was the only thing he'd ever loved. He seemed happy so the other tried to get over their fear, but eventually, Patton, Roman and Virgil agreed that it had to go.

"Look, Virgil. He's adorable, isn't he!?" Logan exclaimed, practically shoving the spider into Virgil's face. Virgil nodded and moved away, clearly afraid. Logan held his hands up to his shoulder and the spider crawled onto his shirt and sat on his shoulder. Logan loved the "little guy" and kept him close all the time, leaving no chances for them to get rid of it.

Once night fell, however, and Logan went to sleep, Virgil snuck into the logical side's room and put the spider in a box. He set it outside and went back to his room to relax a bit.

The next morning, everyone was abruptly awakened by the sound of Logan's yells and sobs. Everyone rushed to the logical side's room to see him sobbing over the case that had once contained his pet. Virgil immediately felt guilty, but then he remembered the look of the spider a few inches from his face and he didn't regret getting rid of the thing. Logan was distraught over the loss of "Sawyer" (as he had so fondly named the tarantula) and refused to go in his room until the home of his pet had been removed. Virgil reasoned that the case was probably unstable and that the lid probably came loose, allowing Sawyer to escape. He was guilty that he had caused Logan to be so upset, of course he was, but the spider was just so... terrifying.

"Logan, come on, Sawyer wouldn't have lived very long anyway. He was fully grown when you got him and tarantulas only live for a certain amount of time. He would have died if he hadn't disappeared."
"H-he was so s-sweet though... a-and adorable and f-fluffy!" Logan sobbed. Logan had been cleaning up his room when he found a spider web under his desk and he had burst into tears again. Virgil hated having to comfort Logan when he had these outbursts. He cared about Logan but he didn't want to reminisce over the spider, and even if there wasn't a spider involved, Logan would bawl his eyes out until he physically couldn't cry anymore when he got this upset. This meant that Logan was incapable of dealing with the spiders in the house, resulting in lots of lines being cut into the wall where Roman tried to murder spiders with his sword, as well as coffee stains where Remy threw his half-full drinks at the various arachnids found around the house. Virgil focused back on Logan's crying and pulled Logan into his lap, letting Logan cuddle him until he was hiccuping into Virgil's chest.

"Are you okay now, Lo? Can I get back to my work now?" Virgil sighed. Logan shook his head and shifted closer to Virgil, taking in the calming smell of vanilla that lingered on his clothes from burning incense in his room when he needed to relax. Virgil sighed and waited until Logan squirmed in his lap, an obvious sign that he was fine now and had come to his senses again. Virgil let him go and stood up himself, stretching out his achy legs and grimacing when his neck cracked loudly. Logan smiled at him and Virgil went to go before Logan grabbed him.

"Virgil, will you watch something with me?"
"I have work... okay. I suppose it can wait."
"Thanks..." Logan sat on his bed next to Virgil and put on a documentary about some obscure killer from the eighties.

"AHH! Roman! Get rid of it, get rid of it now!" Patton shrieked. Virgil rolled his eyes until he heard a ping from his phone. That spider was fucking massive. He turned off his phone, wincing at the thought of it.

But a certain Sawyer was crawling his way through the house, unimpeded by the terrified people living there...

"Sawyer!"
"Oh fuck..."
