Roman is bullied... Virgil protects him

(High School AU)

Roman walked down the hallways feeling like a failure as he tried to keep his head up. His bullies were especially bad yesterday and the only thing that made it better was spotting Virgil's head in the crowd. Roman breathed out a sigh as he admired Virgil from afar as he hardly ever spoke to him.

Just seeing Virgil made Roman feel better and he started being his confident self again until Jordan walked up to him. 

"Think you're the best, huh? You can't even confess to your crush, you gay mess." Jordan taunted.

"Think gay mess is an insult, huh?" Roman laughed, doped up on Virgil.

"Nah, It's just that I'm gay so... it feels weird insulting that." Jordan questioned.

"Oh okay..." And Jordan walked away.

Only for Maria to walk up to Roman and start to beat him up, "Useless, Inadequate, Clown, Egoist, Self-Serving, Idiot."

Roman cowered in pain, fear slowly rising inside him when suddenly he heard a voice.

"No, stop! He never did anything to you." Virgil said and punched Maria in the jaw.

"You'll pay for this!!" Maria cried out.

I'm tired and lost motivation at some part of this so yay!

I'm also feeling too self-concious to share this right now so I got the idea from BubblesCanGame... so someone please tag her at some point.
