Writer's Block - Creativitwins -

Roman ran his fingers through his hair, sighing tiredly as he finally closed the blank document. He slipped down in his chair, hands moving from his hair to his face as he dragged them down, a small groan escaping the princely side.

He had been at this for an eternity, staring at the document, not typing a single word. Writer's block. Or a lack of motivation, at least. Roman just... Couldn't write. He wanted to so badly, had the ideas all set up and ready. All he needed to do was get them written, but he couldn't. And it drained Roman. But more than that, it hurt, not being able to write when he so desperately wanted to.

He barely heard the knock at his door, and that was saying something since it was incredibly loud. Roman still didn't respond, though, even as the knocking continued. He just leaned forward in his chair and held his head in his hands.

Whoever was knocking seemed to say screw it, and walked into Roman's room. Roman heard a slightly distressed cry and he looked up, startling when Remus was suddenly the only thing he could see.

"Ro, what's wrong?" Remus asked, kneeling in front of his brother. Roman shook his head, he sounded close to tears though. He looked like it as well.

"Nothing." Roman flinched at the word, though it was the truth. It was nothing! Just a simple writing slump!

Remus tilted his head and raised a brow, unimpressed. Roman sighed, and he gestured to the computer. "I can't write."

"When was the last time you wrote?"

"A few weeks ago. I think I'm having writer's block... And it's really frustrating..."

"Oh, is that all?" Remus sprung to his feet, relief flashing across his face. Roman looked up at him in confusion. Remus extended his hands.

"What are you doing?" Roman asked as he looked between Remus's hands and his face.

"Taking you on a brainstorming trip, duh."

"I have the ideas, though! Just not the motivation!" Roman sunk back into his chair, but Remus still held out his hands.

"Well, I know a place in the Imagination that can help with that. Seriously, do you think I don't lose motivation too?"

Roman hesitated, before taking Remus's hands and letting his twin pull him to his feet. He sank out with Remus, feeling a bit sick when they popped into the Imagination instead of rising. He quickly took in his surroundings.

They were on a cliffside, so high up that Roman couldn't even see the ground. It was a large ledge, though, and Roman took a deep breath. On the ledge itself was a picnic blanket under a thin tree, casting the area in shade. Some notebooks were scattered about on the blanket, as well as pencil boxes no doubt containing said pencils and probably pens.

Remus gestured to the area. "Well? Wanna give writing another go?"

Roman nodded slowly, and Remus flashed him a grin before gently pushing Roman towards the blanket. They both got situated, Remus laying on his stomach while Roman sat with his legs crossed, notebook and pens in hand.

"Remus?"

Remus glanced up, and Roman smiled softly.

"Thank you."

Remus returned Roman's smile, before turning back to his own notebook. "Anytime, Ro."
