Stargazing - Loceit -
Logan would never admit that lying with Deceit felt like the best thing in the world. He would never admit that it was the most loved he ever felt, that he could stay here for hours and hours just staring up at the endless galaxies above with Deceit. He'd never admit that Deceit's arms wrapped around his waist and shoulders made him feel so protected, and he'd never tell a soul that he absolutely melted whenever Deceit remembered one of the constellations Logan had shown him.
He loved that Remus allowed him and Deceit to come here whenever they wished to, although he had a feeling Remus did it to get the two sides closer. Logan never complained though, silently thanking Remus's strange ability to know when others had romantic feelings. He had set up Patton and Roman after all, and he'd discovered Virgil had feelings for him almost a week after Virgil even realized he had feelings for the rambunctious side.
Logan took a deep breath, taking a break in his ramblings to glance at Deceit. The lying side had tightened his arms around Logan, eyes cast upward still, glittering in the starlight like the galaxies they watched. Logan smiled as Deceit shifted a bit and the moon shimmered off his scales, taking Logan's breath away. He barely noticed Deceit tilt his head after too long of silence, didn't notice Deceit's human cheek turn scarlet. He did notice the fond smile that graced Deceit's face as Deceit's hand moved up to run through Logan's hair.
"So, the stars are beautiful, huh?" Deceit hummed, giving Logan a knowing smile and flicking his gaze upwards before returning his eyes back to Logan's. "But I think you're the most beautiful star in the solar system."
Logan's face heated up, and he took a deep breath. He couldn't tear his eyes away from Deceit's, and Deceit laughed softly, bringing another hand up to cup Logan's cheek. "I didn't break you, did I?"
Logan swallowed thickly, leaning into Deceit's hand. "No, I- I don't know what's wrong with me, um, I just," he took a deep breath, "you're gorgeous."
Deceit laughed softly, moving just a bit closer. "Would it be wrong if I kissed you right now?"
"I highly doubt it," Logan whispered.
Deceit hummed softly, and closed the small gap between them. Logan melted into Deceit, feeling the arms tighten around him again and overwhelming him with a sense of protection. Suddenly he didn't remember the stars or the constellations or the time passing. All he could focus on was the way Deceit's hand tangled in his hair and the tender way Deceit held him. He could only focus on how smooth Deceit's scales felt under his fingertips, or how soft his capelet actually felt.
They broke apart, and Logan's eyes remained closed for a moment longer. "Wow," he murmured, and he heard Deceit laugh. It wasn't a cruel laugh, or a low chuckle that Logan was used to hearing. It was more of a giggle, so unlike Deceit's usual laugh. Logan cracked his eyes open and he swore he fell in love all over again.
When had he first fallen in love with this angel of a side? Logan couldn't even remember, but he didn't really care as much.
"How about you tell me more about the stars?" Deceit asked softly, pushing some of Logan's hair behind his ear. Logan smiled, snuggling close to Deceit. Deceit grinned, pressing a kiss to Logan's forehead before they both got a bit more comfortable. Logan continued from where he was earlier, pointing up to the constellation.
