Warnings : Sympathetic Remus, Sympathetic Deceit

---------------------------

Logan was always busy. That was a known fact among the mindscape. Whether it be researching new topics, helping create schedules, organizing memories to put into Thomas' long term memory, to even helping to write scripts and edit videos. He was just always busy.

And everyone knew where to find him as well.

Logan had specific spots he'd be in at different times of the day. In the morning, he was always at the island drinking coffee and typing away at his computer. At noon he'd be curled up in the corner of the couch with a new book. In the evening he'd eat dinner with the others before disappearing to his room for the night. Unless it was Friday, when everyone would stay in the common room and watch movies all night.

So when it was in the middle of the week, at noon, and they didn't see Logan reading a new book in his spot on the couch, they were a bit worried.

After searching the entire house, they still couldn't find Logan.

They jumped when Deceit suddenly popped up into the living room of the core sides, looking panicked. "Has anyone seen Remus?"

"No, why? He's not in his room either?" Patton asked, worried expression only becoming worse.

Deceit groaned, flopping onto the couch. "Nope. And I can't find him anywhere. It's very concerning when you can't find Remus, cause it either means we're in trouble, or he is."

Roman patted Deceit's arm as if to comfort him. "We can't find Logan, so welcome to the club of worry."

A short silence followed, broken only when Virgil facepalmed. "How stupid are we?"

"Kiddo?"

Virgil got to his feet. "We haven't checked the Imagination. Like, we checked all the other rooms, except there."

Roman groaned. "Oh my stars we are stupid."

"Well Princey?" Deceit stated, shoving himself off the couch and straightening his outfit. "Open up the Imagination."

Roman looked at all of them, raising a brow. "You all really wanna come in there?"

The others all made sounds of agreement, sharing quick glances. "You do know we'll have to check Remus' side of the place, right? Because they're definitely not in my area. I would've sensed it."

Deceit laughed slightly, a sound they still weren't used to. "Roman please, Remus may seem disturbing when it comes to his part of the Imagination, but he saves that for his room. His part of the Imagination is... merely dark. With only a few disturbing things."

"How would you- actually, I don't wanna know." Virgil said, and Patton nodded.

Roman shrugged, rubbing his hands together. "I warned y'all."

Roman was the last to enter the Imagination, the door closing behind them. Trees loomed over them, the trees themselves appeared to be dead, no leaves of any kind in sight. Not far away was Remus' tower, standing even taller than the deceased trees.

It wasn't a long trip, and they only caught sight of a few animals. Or, what they assumed to be animals. They appeared mutated, multiple species in one to create some sort of super animal.

Once they reached the clearing, Roman pulling out his sword just in case, to say that the four of them were shocked was an understatement.

Leaning against a decently sized fountain was Logan, and beside him Remus. Logan was watching him with a fond expression, watching as Remus created another one of his creatures. The air was relatively calm, a comfortable silence surrounding the two.

Deceit stopped Roman's sword from hitting the ground, pulling them away behind a tree.

"What are they doing?" Roman whispered, peeking out from behind the tree.

"And what's Logan doing in the Imagination?" Virgil asked. "It weakens his abilities, right?"

Deceit hummed slightly, pulling himself up onto a sturdy branch so he could see the two better. "Maybe in Roman's area, but I don't think it's affecting him here."

"But how is that- oh my stars!"

Virgil looked away from Deceit and back to the two sides, gasping slightly himself. Because Logan was cupping Remus' cheek, and pulling him in for a kiss. A kiss that was short and sweet, and when they could see Remus' face more clearly, left Remus grinning stupidly and face completely red.

"I think we should let them be," Patton whispered, starting to back up. Deceit nodded in agreement, hopping down from the branch.

"We are gonna ask them to tell us how long this has been going on for though, right? Later of course."

"Oh, definitely."

-

Remus burst into giggles once the presence of the others left his realm. And Logan began laughing himself, cheeks tinted pink.

"That's one way to let them know we're together."

"You do understand they'll only think we've been dating, right?" Logan inquired, wrapping an arm around Remus' waist. Remus shrugged, nuzzling Logan's cheek slightly.

"I think if they found out we're actually married they'll have a heart attack. All of them. At once." Remus stated as he reached up and pulled a necklace out from underneath his extravagant outfit. It was a silver chain with only one thing as a charm; a wedding ring. He admired it for a moment before looking back to Logan, a lovestruck smile on his face.

Logan took his own necklace out from under his shirt, letting it fall to rest over his heart. He pressed another kiss to Remus' lips, longer than the one the others had seen.

Remus hummed slightly, pushing himself closer to Logan. He pouted when Logan pushed him away slightly, and Logan chuckled. "Another time. How about you show me another one of your newest creations?"

Remus smiled again, nodding quickly and setting to work.
