Warnings : Sympathetic Deceit

It was a quiet afternoon. The sky was gloomy and rain pattered lightly against the windows of the house. The television was turned off and two men sat in the living room, cuddled close as one read to the other.

Dee was resting comfortably against Logan's side, his head resting on the nerd's shoulder. Logan's arm was wrapped around the other's waist, holding Dee closer as he read from his book. It was one of the Harry Potter books, the first one, if Dee remembered correctly. He had never read it, and Logan offered to read it to him.

Nothing could be better.

Well, that was a lie. Things definitely could get better. And it did.

The other three came down the stairs, yawning. They had decided to take a nap together, having stayed up late the night prior to binge watch some Disney. Roman bolted to the couch, surprising both Dee and Logan when he tackled them in a hug, grinning from ear to ear.

Roman laughed as he was shoved off, but fond smiles rested upon Logan and Dee's faces. "What're you two doing, reading Harry Potter without us?" Virgil's voice broke through Roman's laughter, and he had a fake pout.

Patton nodded, holding onto Virgil's arm gently. "Deceit has never read it, and you all were catching up on sleep." Logan said, helping Roman to his feet and shifting both himself and Dee so Roman could cuddle on Logan's other side. "But since you guys are awake now, you can join us."

"Heck yeah we are," Patton chirped, tugging Virgil gently towards the couch. Instead of sitting on it, however, the two sides sat on the floor and leaned against the couch. Roman ran his fingers through Virgil's hair and Dee did the same to Patton. Logan's arm was still wrapped around Deceit, however now Logan leaned against Roman. He reopened the book, quickly finding his place.

Checking one last time that everyone was situated, he cleared his throat and continued with the story.
