My Sweet - Roceit -
Warnings : Sympathetic Deceit
Roman paced his room, running his hand through his hair and biting his lip. His room was littered with crumpled and torn papers, his desk unable to be seen from a mountain of fabrics and threads. He had been at this for hours without rest, trying to get every thing just right but failing with each attempt.
He froze when a knock came from the door. It was one he recognized well. Deceit.
He quickly looked around his room, suddenly becoming aware of just how unpresentable it looked, as well as his own appearance. Frowning deeply and cursing softly, Roman began to try and hide the messiness, snapping his fingers to change his outfit to the first thing that came to mind.
In a matter of three minutes, he finally opened his door, trying to keep his wheezing at bay. Deceit raised a brow at his dramatic boyfriend, seeing right through his facade. Roman's smile faded and he sighed, hanging his head slightly. "Don't say it, you'll sound like Logan." Roman muttered.
Deceit hummed. "Perhaps I should, then." He stated, wrapping his arms around Roman. The fanciful side clung onto Deceit, pulling him into the room. The door closed behind them and they stood at the front of Roman's room, embracing one another.
Deceit kissed the top of Roman's head, hand finding it's way to the other's lower back. He rubbed small circles along Roman's spine, sending shivers through his body. Deceit chuckled but continued when Roman sighed in content, obviously more relaxed.
"Why're you here, Love?" Roman finally asked. Normally Deceit wouldn't show up unexpectedly to Roman's room. That was Roman's thing.
Deceit just held Roman closer, kissing his temple. Roman's cheeks heated up and he buried his face in Deceit's outfit. Deceit was currently wearing a hoodie, similar to Virgil's, except it was cut off at his midriff. He still wore his hat, and the hoodie had golden trimming with double headed snakes winding up the sleeves.
"You seemed anxious." Deceit answered quietly after awhile, his hand rubbing circles slowing to a stop. His free hand rested at the back of Roman's neck, moving down to wrap around the other's shoulders. "Was wondering if you'd want to watch some Disney, take a break from whatever you were working on?"
Although Deceit lied often, he was certainly able to speak the truth. And Roman knew every word spilling from the side's lips were true.
Roman pulled away slightly, a small, genuine smile appearing on his face. "That'd be lovely. Do we get to eat candy?"
Deceit chuckled, kissing Roman briefly on the lips. "Of course, my sweet and daring prince. Eat all the sweets you desire as we binge."
Roman fist pumped the air and seemed to instantly feel better. "Dee, my Love, my Sky, you are the best boyfriend a side could ever have." He spoke cheerfully and pulled Deceit into a bone crushing hug.
Deceit endured it though, somehow finding a way to breathe. He laughed softly, and the two shared a soft but longer kiss. Deceit pulled away first and smiled. "I'll get the snacks, you choose the movies."
Roman pecked him one more time on the cheek before dashing out, nearly tripping and tumbling down the stairs. A fond smile rested on Deceit's face as he went to collect the snacks, all of which he knew would be consumed by Roman.
