Into the Night - Logince -
Like a gift from the heavens
It was easy to tell
It was love from above that could save me from hell
Roman grinned at the man in his arms, and the man in the deep blue suit flushed darkly, averting his gaze as Roman dipped him. All eyes were on them, spinning in circles to the musicians in the corner. The moonlight shone down on them, as if it were a spotlight.
The Prince spun Logan around once more, hand coming back to his waist. He was starting to feel dizzy, but he didn't wish for this to end. He dreaded the fact the dance would end soon. But he knew it wouldn't be their last; the ring on his finger told him so.
Roman pulled him close, kissing his cheek. "I hope you've enjoyed your night so far, my love."
Logan hummed lightly, squeezing Roman's hand gently. "It was adequate."
Roman laughed lightly as the music slowed to a stop and they pulled apart for only a moment. The musicians began playing a different song, and the two moved out of the way for others to take the courtyard. Neither let go of the other's hand as they made their way to the gardens.
The stars gazed down upon them as they took a quiet walk, waltzing through the paths lined with all sorts of exotic floral.
They stopped at a gazebo, leaning against the wooden rails. Roman's arm rested around Logan's shoulders, holding him close and pressing a kiss to his temple. Logan's arm was draped around his waist, resting his head on Roman's shoulder.
"What do you wish to do tomorrow, darling? Take a walk through the village?"
Logan shifted so he was in front of Roman, and he nuzzled his neck slightly. Roman giggled- the sound made Logan's heart skip a beat and a stupid love-struck grin grace his face. "I think tomorrow we should stay in bed all day and cuddle." Logan finally replied, moving just enough that he and Roman could make eye contact.
Roman leaned down slightly, foreheads pressing against one another gently and noses brushing. "Oh?"
"Mhmm. Take a day for just us, without having to worry about anyone else's eyes watching our every action."
"Love, you make that sound creepy," Roman laughed, and Logan grinned at him, capturing Roman's lips in a quick kiss.
"Because it is!"
Roman shook his head, arms tightening around Logan. "Fine, we can stay inside and cuddle all day."
"Don't sound more excited, you might pull something."
Roman gently nudged his love, and Logan latched onto him tighter, pressing their lips together once more. Roman reached up to run a hand through Logan's hair, combing through and messing up his black locks. Logan's hands travelled down until they were holding Roman's sides, and he hummed softly into the kiss.
They finally broke apart. Logan leaned back onto Roman's chest, looking out at the galaxies above. Roman watched Logan's eyes fill with a brightness that only Roman ever got to see. A smile so soft and tender that rarely ever graced Logan's face.
Roman could see the faint freckles on his face in the moonlight, the stars twinkling in his glasses. He smoothed Logan's hair back into place unconsciously, and Logan made a sort of purring sound, leaning into Roman's touch.
"I love you."
"I love me too."
"Logan!"
Logan laughed, leaning up to press another short and sweet kiss to Roman's lips. Roman tried to pull him in for another one, but was stopped by his husband's hand. Logan's teasing smile melted into a sincere and loving one.
"I love you as well."
