For Me | Prinxiety
"Roman, no! Watch out!" Virgil yelled, but it was too late.
The dark side watched in horror as the Prince was struck with deadly accuracy, the sharp claws of a Dragon Witch digging into his flesh.
"Roman!" Virgil yelled, not caring if the Dragon Witch killed him too.
The Dragon Witch roared triumphantly and flew away, and Virgil wasted no time running to Roman.
"Roman?" Virgil laid Roman's head on his legs. "Roman, don't be dead." Virgil begged, and checked for a pulse.
It was weak, but it was there. "Roman, wake up!" He yelled.
"Virgil?" Roman's voice was weak, and barely audible.
"Roman, stay with me. Don't die," Virgil begged and picked up his phone to call Patton.
"Virgil, it's too late," Roman coughed and a tiny bit of blood came from his throat.
"No. Don't say that Roman. Don't you dare give up on me,"
"Please Virgil, sing that song," Roman's voice was quiet and pleading.
"Roman-"
"Please Virgil. For me," Roman begged, sadness in his eyes.
Virgil held back a sob and nodded.
"Flower, gleam and glow," Virgil started, quietly.
"Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse," Virgil's voice started to shake as Roman coughed again, more blood spewing out.
"Bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt," Virgil looked desperately at Roman's horrid, bloody torso, and tried not to puke.
"Change the Fates' design," Virgil's voice was shaking and nearly stopped.
Roman weakly opened his eyes. "Please Virgil," Virgil could barley hear the once loud side, "finish."
Tears streamed down Virgil face as he took a shaky breath.
"Heal what has been hurt, bring back what once was mine," Virgil choked and the tears fell faster as he felt Roman's arm slacken.
"Thank you," Roman whispered, and his eyes closed.
"Roman, no," Virgil sobbed and checked for the pulse.
It was gone.
Roman was dead.
Virgil threw himself over the body, sobbing, begging and screaming for Roman to come back. But nothing would change Roman's Fate.
What once was mine
*awkward cough*
When I was writing the line about Roman's pulse being gone, it corrected Gone to Fine. My phone is in denial.
