Birthday | No Ship
"Guys!" Patton almost screeched as he raced into the living room. It was normal, with Roman playing a Disney movie, Logan ignoring it with a book, and Virgil occasionally looking up from his phone on the couch to watch.
"What is it Patton?" Logan asked.
"It's Thomas's birthday!!!!" Patton screamed.
The room fell silent before Roman screeched.
"Yes! We shall throw the most grand party of all time!" Roman yelled, excitedly.
"Let's buy a cake!"
"And streamers!"
"And cookies!"
"Why is it necessary to spend money for one simple day?" Logan blinked.
"Because it's a birthday!" Patton yelled, "it only happens once a year!"
Virgil nodded as Logan replied, "but is he where he should at his age-"
"Logan. Chill, for one day. Even I am," Virgil yawned.
"Fine. I suppose that is doable." Logan muttered.
"Yay!" Patton cheered and pulled Logan into a hug.
Logan blinked, uncomfortably while Roman looked over at Virgil, hopefully.
"Don't you dare," Virgil warned and Roman huffed.
"Come on, lets go surprise him!" Patton declared happily as sank into the floor.
"Yes, lets!" Roman agreed and followed Patton, also sinking.
"I guess we should go too?" Virgil looked over at Logan, who was still recovering from the sudden contact.
"I suppose it is expected," Logan sighed and sank into the floor. Virgil follows seconds after by vanishing into the air.

"Bye Joan!" Thomas waved goodbye as his friends left after showing up as a surprise.
"Thomas it's your birthday!" Patton yelled excitedly from behind him. "Holy sh**!" Thomas shrieked, not expecting the sides.
"Come on now Son, watch your language." Patton reminded.
"Happy birthday Thomas!" Roman yelled as he appeared and threw confetti in the air, the colourful scraps falling around his feet.
"Aw! Thank you Roman!" Thomas smiled and Logan popped up in his spot.
"Greetings Thomas. Happy birthday." Logan said.
"Thanks Logan!" Thomas grinned.
"Hey. Happy birthday," Virgil popped up in his usual spot on the stairs.
"Awww even Virgil came!" Thomas gushed and Virgil grumbled as he turned his head away.
"We would have gotten you presents, except we technically can't buy you anything because we are part of you," Patton said sadly.
"It's okay Patton! You don't need to buy me-"
"So I made a card!" Patton beamed and threw the card at Thomas. Thomas fumbled with it before eventually catching the card and reading it.
It was a picture with all the sides (even with Deceit in the corner) and Thomas holding hands with the words happy birthday printed in bold.
"Aw that's so cute!" Thomas gushed and Patton's grin grew.
"What about you Roman?"
"You're in my presence, that is a big enough gift." Roman smirked and Thomas sighed.
"Logan?"
"I believe I've given you the money by declaring my love for Crofters. Speaking of which, I require more."
"Logan, I gave you fifteen jars yesterday."
"Yesterday Thomas. That was yesterday. This is today. And today I require more."
Thomas sighed, "there's more in the kitchen."
"Thank you," Logan said before turning and going to the kitchen.
"Virgil?" Thomas asked hopefully.
Virgil squirmed nervously, now being in the spotlight.
"Uh, I lower my standards for all social outgoings for a week?"
Thomas beamed. "That's awesome! Thanks Virgil!"
"I guess I can add another thing," Virgil mumbled, "I guess I'll stop keeping you up at night for a few days."
Thomas blinked, not believing it.
"Did-did I do something wrong?" Virgil asked nervously.
"No! This is awesome! If I could hug you I would!" Thomas beamed and Virgil have a small smile.
"You're welcome?"
"Thomas what Disney movie should we watch?!" Roman asked excitedly.
"All of them!" Thomas shrieked and jumped over to the couch.
Virgil chuckled and eventually joined them.
The rest of the night went with Thomas, Roman and Patton screaming Disney lyrics, Virgil being on Tumblr on the corner of the couch, and Logan in the kitchen reading while eating his Crofters jam.
It was Thomas's best birthday yet.
