Studying
Logan and Patton were sitting down together with books, laptops, and notebooks strewn about the common room of their apartment. They were roommates, and had the same stupid college class, and the same stupid test. So, they decided to study together, because why not? They made flash cards, took notes, and looked up information.
They were putting information on a powerpoint too because they had to do a project on the same test. It was stressful, so Patton kept on sipping on whatever drinks they had lying around, because keeping his mouth busy usually helped calm his nerves, and he didn't want to talk too much, or be too hyper because Logan liked to work in a calm, quiet environment. Drinking was just something he could do that wasn't too distracting.
Being partners for the project was probably the best for both of them. Logan was good at studying, gathering information and knowing what to do. Patton liked that, because it helped him learn the material. He wasn't any good at it on his own, and Logan was so good at helping him! As for Logan, Patton would often point things out that he hadn't ever thought of. He was also creative, so they got the visual points there. Logan would gather the info, and Patton would type it all up and make it pretty.
But of course, there was a problem with their focus. Patton doesn't have the biggest bladder. So because of his drinking, every five minutes, he was getting up to pee. It was really annoying for both him and Logan, who figured he should have seen this coming. He wondered how much soda Patton possibly could have had for him to need to pee so excessively.
"Logie, I finished the next few slides if you wanted to review them? We finished unit three, just two more to go!" He smiled, sipping some more soda.
"Good job Patton, at this rate, we'll be finished with the project by noon, and maybe even finish studying by two" Logan calculated in his brain, "however, since we have a couple weeks, finishing the powerpoint isn't much of a priority. We just need to get an outline finished so that we can come back and add later."
"It's a good thing I have you here to make plans and timelines, because I would have procrastinated until the last minute" Patton giggled.
"Well, it's a good thing I have you as well" Logan rushed out, completely and utterly unable to take a compliment, "you know, to liven up the presentation. Creativity earns us points, as does how we engage with our audience. I don't have the energy, nor do I give off the correct vibes."
Patton laughed, rolling his eyes playfully, "c'mon, Lo, you're not just some fact spitting robot, I know you have some personality deep down inside! And besides, I know you don't love the social aspect of giving presentations, but I do! This is going to be like, the easiest 100 ever."
Before the other could respond, the overwhelming urge to pee suddenly hit him. "Woah!" Patton gasped, standing up quickly, "be right back!!"
Logan sighed. That was the fifth time in an hour. They were never going to get anything done if Patton kept on having to pee every five minutes. It was also unhealthy, but more annoying than anything. He couldn't help but worry that Patton had some sort of underlying medical condition, though, because five times in one hour was not okay, even with the amount of liquid he'd been drinking. Logan took the time to check his phone, his boyfriend was texting him, asking about how the project was going, to remember to take care of himself, you know, the works.
He quickly replied that everything was going great, and that they were actually taking frequent breaks because of Patton. Patton came back, within the next minute, and so Logan texted his boyfriend, Virgil, a quick goodbye, and their routine continued. Patton kept drinking, and kept peeing.
This annoyed Logan because they kept on having to stop for Patton's potty breaks. So first, Logan took away Patton's over excessive water privileges. He was going to get water intoxication at this point.
But he was still running off to the bathroom more often than he was supposed to, and it was getting quite irritating.
"Patton!" Logan said sharply, becoming agitated as Patton stood up once more, "these frequent bathroom breaks are becoming quite bothersome. You probably don't even have to pee—i'm sure that at this point, it's all in your head. Now, you're not going to pee again until we finish this, it's not healthy to go this much!"
Logan said this somewhat harshly, and that caught Patton's attention. Logan could get frustrated easily, and take his anger out on other people, but he had never snapped at Patton like that before. So, he plopped back down quickly and began studying again. Things got a little awkward from then on. He didn't trust himself to speak much, fearing his voice would betray him. He didn't want to get on Logan's bad side, especially not when he's stressed. So, he stayed there, and focused on his work.
Though, it was hard to focus when all he could think about was the tension building up in his bladder, which always somehow made its way to the forefront of his mind.
He kept bouncing and jiggling for a while, keeping his hands busy with typing the information for the slide. It felt way too awkward to ask permission from his roommate to use the bathroom, so even twenty minutes later, he didn't say a word about his need. Logan would just get mad at him anyways. They continued to chat as they worked though, as there was no bad blood or tension floating around the room, it was just awkward for Patton—Logan didn't seem to know that Patton actually had to go. So, he didn't notice Patton's thick swallowing from time to time.
Patton's throat was becoming dry—not necessarily because he was thirsty, but because his feelings were kind of hurt that Logan snapped at him like that. It had been thirty minutes, he should've been well over it by then, but he had nothing else to think about, so that, along with his need to pee, kept popping up in his brain.
It was very uncomfortable and he just wanted the feeling to go away. So finally, he decided he'd just tell him. "Logie, I have to pee" he whined, eventually voicing his need.
"Patton—you haven't drank anything in thirty minutes, your brain is tricking you. Stop getting so worked up, and just finish the slide." Logan reasoned, "and even if you do have to go, you can hold it until we're done."
Patton sighed, leg jiggling, "okay.."
Patton began typing again, figuring that he'd be fine.
————————————————--------------------
Okay, so he figured wrong, because there he was, nearly two hours later, and he was not fine.
He was able to ignore it for a good while, and they completely finished the powerpoint, all while chatting about random stupid things. It was fun, but he'd be reminded about his need when urges and pangs would hit his bladder, each one intensifying as they happened.
Logan had already made it very clear that Patton didn't need anymore breaks, so he just kept on working.
Except now, he really couldn't help but fidget and get distracted. At first, it seemed that Logan was actually right. He was able to completely ignore the urge to go for an hour, but it had recently came back, and it wasn't a trick that time, he really needed to go
Patton bounced his knees from where he sat on the floor, biting his lip deeply, making squeaks of discomfort, which caused Logan—who had completely and entirely forgotten about what had transpired between them earlier—to look over and ask, "Patton, are you alright?"
To which he responded with a quick nod of his head, and Logan got back to work, saying, "you know, you shouldn't bite your lip so hard, you could break your skin, causing bleeding and or infection."
Patton thanked Logan for the knowledge, assuring him that he'd be alright, watching the time as it slowly ticked by.
Logan kept looking up skeptically from his laptop every few minutes. He was suspicious of Patton's behaviors. Constant fidgeting, glancing around the room, constantly biting his lip and every now and again begin tearing up. The next time Logan looked up, he saw Patton's hands buried deep between his thighs, eyes shut tightly. He gasped, letting out a quiet "oops.." as he leaked.
Logan looked down in shock, eyes wide as he realized the problem. If Patton had to pee so bad, why didn't he just..go?
Then, the memory of just hours earlier hit Logan like a sack of bricks to the side of his head. He told Patton that he couldn't. Twice. God—he hadn't meant for hours on end! Though he'd never exactly specified that.
"Logan" he heard Patton whine, and he looked down at his friend guiltily, "can I please go to the bathroom?!" He asked quickly, doubling over as he felt another long, hot spurt slowly come out of him, before he cut it off quickly, I t-tried to hold it for as long as I could! Please don't get mad at me" he sniffled.
"Oh my god—yes, go!" Logan rushed quickly, getting up to help Patton to the bathroom. He made Patton—his best friend—think he had to ask permission to deal with a basic human need. He fucked up, big time.
"It hurts!" Patton cried as Logan grabbed his hands and helped him up, his legs shaking wildly, knees buckling as he rubbed his thighs together. Logan walked him to the bathroom, which was luckily nearby, and overcome with desperation, Patton didn't even try to shoo Logan away.
He was already leaking constantly into his pants, his bladder getting over excited from all of the movement, pissing violently before he was even able to pull out. When he did, his sweat pants were beyond saving, a small pitter patter of his pee dripping on the floor.
Logan watched in guilt, too shocked with himself to move.
"Oh my gosh, that feels so good!" Patton exclaimed, sighing heavily. That was pretty stressful.
But god, did it feel good to release all of that pressure. He felt oh so heavy.
And Logan could tell Patton wasn't messing around when he said he had to pee-it was loud and quick, and lasted for at least forty seconds, which was an awkward time for Logan.
When Patton finally pulled his pants back up, he turned around, and noticing Logan, with a light blush dusted on his face, asked, "have-have you been watching the whole time?"
"Oh, no-I just got here" he lied. He felt so much regret in that moment.
"O-oh-okay" he breathed in shakily, still overcome with the relief of letting go, still trying to shake off the pee shivers, leaking again as his body shook violently.
He calmed down, and began to wash his hands. He could feel his underwear rubbing uncomfortably against him, and he knew that they were soaked thoroughly.
"Um, Logie, i'm going to go..change..be back in a little!" Patton said, running off to his bedroom.
Logan sighed, going off to the main room, running a stressed hand through his hair. Fuck. He had just made Patton wet his pants. He was in the middle of hating himself when he got a text a few minutes later.
Virgil: LOGAN YOU PRICK, GO MAKE THIS RIGHT.
Logan: What?
Virgil: I WAS JUST ON A VIDEO CALL WITH PATTON, HE WAS CRYING! You DARE make the SWEETEST PERSON ALIVE shed a tear?! He's my best friend, go make him better before I call Janus to come over and whoop your ass.
Logan: No! Please don't get Janus, I don't need him going overprotective boyfriend on me!
Virgil: Then go make him feel better! I will get the whole squad to pull up on you right now I SWEAR to fucking GOD! You. Made. My. Best. Friend. PISS himself, because of your obsessive time management skills!
Logan: Okay!!! Okay, okay i'm going to say sorry right now.
Virgil: make sure the apology is from the heart
Logan: i'd have better luck juggling balls of fire.
Logan: Literally.
Virgil: .
Virgil: All I just saw on the screen just now was a big flashing message of you telling me to call Janus.
Logan: IM GOING, i'm going!
Logan closed his phone and left it on the couch in favor of quickly getting up to knock on Patton's door. "Patton? May I come in?" He asked, hearing a sniffle and some quick rustling around before a shaky "yeah!" Was quietly yelled from the other side of the door.
And when he opened it, there he saw Patton on his bed, his face buried in a pillow, shoulders shaking, indicating that he was crying, quiet noises and muffled sobs coming from him. Logan noted that he had changed his clothes.
"Patton-i'm so very genuinely sorry" Logan said, walking over, Patton looking at Logan with tears streaming down his face.
"I-i'm sorry Logie-I just..I'm sensitive.." he whispered, fidgeting with his hands, "and-and you—you made me feel like I couldn't do something that I needed to, and you sounded harsh and I didn't want to make you mad at me, because I really value our friendship, and—and-and you were really serious about it, and getting frustrated...i'm sorry" he mumbled.
"Oh, Patton, no, don't be sorry. Really, i'm sorry..I desire to make you feel better, and to make amends with what I've done..I know that a simple sorry isn't always meaningful enough...but I truly am..."
"It's okay Logie..I know what you were thinking—and I probably should've argued more, especially after the hour mark" Patton reasoned.
Logan came over there and took Patton into his arms for a hug, "c'mere-heh, I know what'll make you feel better. How about some sponge-bob?"
Patton smiled brightly, "but what about the project?" He asked.
"Hmm..I think The project can wait. Besides, we've finished it, all we must do is finish adding some finishing touches and practice presenting it. Which we don't have to do for another week." Logan explained.
Patton smiled, "alright!"
They walked into the living room together, and Logan checked his phone, getting a ping.
Virgil: Good.
Logan: What?
Virgil: Patton never left the call, I heard all of that.
Logan: Oh my god.
Virgil: I recorded it. That was so cute, i'm showing Roman.
Logan: OH MY GOD, DONT
