Virgil snuck out of his bedroom window at midnight and ran off towards the wood. He stayed to the back streets to avoid light from cars catch him. He ran at a dark figure outside the line of trees. Roman opened his arms wide and embraced his boyfriend in a hug. Roman picked Virgil up and Virgil wrapped his legs around his waist and kissed Roman. "I've missed you." Roman said holding Virgil up. "Me too." Virgil said kissing roman again. Roman sat on a bench with Virgil on his lap. "I'm going to school tomorrow." Virgil said finally breaking away from the kiss. "Good." Roman said. Their phones buzzed and Virgil was the first to pull out his phone.
Six new messages from Logan
Logan: have you seen your Instagram?
Logan: there's photos of me and you.
Logan: has roman seen them??
Logan: tell him we can explain.
Logan: he knew you were at the hospital
Logan: I was with Patton.
Virgil: calm down
"Hey Ro-" Virgil said.
"Yeah I know Logan texted me. Remus and Deceit have gone to far." Virgil got off Roman and put an arm around him. "We'll deal with this tomorrow." Virgil said. "Right now I just want to be here with you." Roman smiled and kissed Virgil gently. "It's nearly 1 we should get home." Virgil nodded and ran off.

The next day everyone was staring at Virgil and whispered every time he passed. His cuts and bruises were showing and Virgil was becoming more insecure as the day went on. At lunch he, Patton, Logan and Roman were sat by a wall. "So you two are together?" Roman asked Logan and Patton. Patton nodded happily holding Logan's hand. Logan blushed slightly. Romans and Virgil held hands. Someone yelled across the yard. "Gayyyyyy" a couple of people laughed and Virgil glared at the group. "How's your life at home?" Roman asked concerned. "Could be better. They haven't talked to me for a couple of days. They're still pissed I went to the hospital." Virgil looked away. And Roman pulled him into a hug. "I wish we could help." Logan said. Virgil's parents had banned him from seeing all of his friends at school or outside of it. Virgil nodded in appreciation. "I've got a scholarship to a theatre collage." Roman said after a minute of silence. "That's great." Virgil said hugging his boyfriend tightly. "Only an hour away." Roman added. "So you can visit?" Virgil asked hopefully. "If visit even if I lived halfway across the world." He smiled. The bell rang for last lesson and the four got up.
Last lesson was Biology for Logan, French for Patton, an audition for roman and art for Virgil. The lesson went slowly and it felt like Virgil was on a stage, all eyes on him as he drew. Virgil tried to concentrate, his wrist didn't flow with the pencil as he usually does. Virgil gave up trying to draw and decided to go to the computers and do some digital art. As he wakes across the classroom he felt all eyes on him, staring. He sat down and he could hear faint whispers and mumbles. Remy sat down next to him a couple of minutes later. "It sucks what happened to you." He said drinking his Starbucks coffee. Virgil nodded not paying attention. "I heard that you and Deceit used to date..." Virgil turned quickly so he was facing Remy. "Where did you hear that?" Virgil asked trying not to freak out. "Deceit told me..." he started. Virgil stood up quickly knocking his chair back. It crashed to the floor. All eyes were on Virgil including the teachers. Virgil grabbed his bag and stormed out. "VIRGIL-" The teacher yelled after him. He didn't listen. He didn't know where he was going but he just kept on walking around the school. He passed Logan's class who saw him and ran out of the class despite the teachers protests. "Virgil." Logan said grabbing his arm and turning him around. There was a faint snap of a photo being taken and Logan turned around and saw Remy stood there with his camera. Logan let go of Virgil's arm. "Remy- delete that photo." Remy ran off down the hall. Virgil hugged himself. "I'm sorry Logan." He said walking off again. "Virgil it's not your fault. I live with him I'll delete it."
"He'll send it it to Remus and Deceit and Patton will see." Virgil said quickly starting to panic. A teacher emerged from a classroom hearing the commotion. "Logan. Virgil. My office now." He said walking to his office. The two shuffled along.
They both received after school detention for an hour and a half that day.
