Basic Idea: Prince Roman Sanders was first introduced to Emilia when he was 16. Their parents stated that they were soulmates, because of the red string that connected their wrists. But Roman feels nothing for the princess from a faraway land, and neither does she. Roman instead finds himself entranced by the servant who follows her- Virgil Shay. The boy detests Roman with everything in him. But his red string, which was cut as a child, keeps sticking to the Prince's clothes. What secrets are the King and Queen keeping? Why does nothing the princess does make Roman happy the way Virgil does?
