Two Birds of a feather
Two Birds of a feather.
Janus stared at Virgil with burning rage and Virgil only glared. "Why?" Janus hissed. "You joined them?!"
Virgil pursed his lips. "You're evil Janus, I can't live in a body of lies anymore."
"You promised to run this kingdom with me, Virgil!"
Says they're always gonna stay together.
"This kingdom is dying!" Virgil growls out, tossing the emblem of their kingdom to the ground. It landed by Janus' feet, but he didn't dare reach to grab it. "And it's dying because of you! It's because of your lies and tricks! If you didn't deceive Thomas then none of this would have happened—Remus is dead because of you!"
Virgil's eyes went wide at his own tongue and Janus slumped, his expression portrayed pure betrayal.
But ones never goin' to let go of that wire.
"Remus wanted this kingdom," Janus whispers.
"He wanted this kingdom whole, not in pieces," Virgil bitterly grumbles. "It's falling apart, it's time to let go."
"I will," He hisses. "When we conquer the never lands! We will rise above your pathetic place of so-called 'peace'! I will have what Remus wanted!"
He says that he will.
Virgil merely stared at him and sighed before turning on his heel. "You were closer to Remus than I was, but I know he wouldn't want this."
But he is a liar.
Janus was left to stare at the emblem at his feet, the castle emptier than it ever has been.
