-Prinxiety- Life Could Be A Dream
Roman walked over to virgils room. Virgil wasn't in there because he and Patton were doing something with Thomas. Roman walked in, finding his phone on his bed. He changed 2 of his favorite songs to 'Life Could Be A Dream' (the song up above).
-Later-
Virgil came back with Patton than went back to his room. He saw what Roman had done and knew it was Roman. So he took a piece of paper and wrote a poem he knew on it.
He wrote:
'today, just like any other day
you'll rise from the ashes
a fire set by those who wish
for you to fail
and the other in your heart
will remain stronger
than the words of your enemies
you are mighty
and your strength
is your crown'
(By: r.h. Sin)
Virgil folded the paper went to Romans room and slid it under his door. Than ran back to his own room. Roman had seen the note and even when he saw Virgil that day, he didn't talk about it.
Over the course over the next few days, Virgil dropped a note off every day. It was the fourth day and Virgil hadn't dropped his not of yet.
"Patton!" Roman went out to Patton on the couch with the notes Virgil gave him," I need help"
"With what kiddo?"
"Virgil's been writing me notes and I don't know why!"
"What do they say?" Roman handed Patton the notes.
They said:
'loving you drained my spirit'
'thinking about you
sucked me further
into darkness
and as hard as it's been
i've been working harder
to free my mind'
'i write poetry
because it's easier
to write it down
than to say it out loud
without breaking down'
"I think he's trying to confess something to you..." Patton handed Roman the notes back smiling," maybe try writing him one yourself?"
"That's actually a good idea! Thanks Patton!" Roman rushed back to his room to write Virgil back.
Roman took out a pen and paper than sat down and wrote.
'but i'd drain the entire ocean
to keep you from drowning'
Roman than folded it, wrote Virgils name on it and put it out side his door so Virgil would see it when he came to drop off his little note for today.
-With Virgil-
Virgil sat their, thinking of what to write for the prince this time. He sat their for longer wanting to tell the prince how he actually felt. When he finally finished writing the little note, their were papers all over the floor, crumpled or in balls. His final product was cheesy, but it was what he felt. He wrote:
'Hey I know this is the cheesiest I can casually get, but here I go..
Love starts as a feeling
But to continue is a choice
And I find my self choosing you
More and more every day.
Like two flowers
Which begin from separate roots
But entangle and grow as one
We are stringer together.
You make me feel
Like I deserve the world
Even though I have nothing to give
But love and laughter.
When I look into your eyes
It's so easy to forget
What's it was like
To stare into life's darkness
When I listen to your laugh
It's so easy to forget
Every pessimistic word I ever said
About love and romance.
But...
Love is just two people
Plastering perfect masks
On each other's faces;
And it only lasts
Until the masks crack
And fantasy ends.
Promises of forever
Resonate for seconds
Nd die with the echo;
Sweet words sprout
But decay with the season
Like saccharine fruit.
To love is to lie
Sweetly, than bitterly
Further down the road;
As the knife is pulled out,
Leaving the heart as empty
As it was to begin with.
The most pathetic of lies
Are the ones we tell ourselves,
Desperately clinging to hope;
Namely, that passion
Is more than an illusion, and
Love is more than a lie.'
Virgil took his last note to Romans room and saw a note on the floor for him. He slipped it under the door and picked up the one for him. He read it. A light blush spread on his cheeks. As he was soon hugged from behind. Virgil groaned as looked to see who was hugging him. Roman was hugging him.
"I love you too Virgil!" Virgils face turned a red.
"Roman! Let me go!" Virgil growled.
Roman let Virgil him go. Virgil backed up, his heart racing from Roman scaring him.
Patton came over," I heard a scream what happened? Did-"
"No one's hurt Patton" Roman chuckled.
Virgil mumbles," ya but Princey did scare me.."
"What was that Virgil?"
"Nothing Patton, just heading back to my room," Virgil started to head back to his room as Roman and Patton kept chatting. Virgil sat on his bed holding the note Roman wrote, to him, in his hands, very close to his chest. Virgil put the note down somewhere where he would remember, when to his bed and slowly drifted into a deep sleep.
Virgil woke with a knock to his door. He yawned and made his way over to his door. Roman was standing their, smiling.
"What do you want Princey?" Virgil grumbled.
"Well you missed dinner so I wanted to check on you," The prince smiled.
"And why do you-"
" The notes and I love you. I thought you already knew that." Virgil looked away from Roman.
"Ya ya, whatever" Virgil rolls his eyes.
"So you do love me right?"
"I..." Virgils face turned a red.
"So you do?" Roman chuckles.
"I didn't say anything," Virgil growled.
"But you face said something." Roman said back, and Virgil growled again.
"Ok so what I do? Huh,"
"Uhhh it's a yes or no question. So it's it a yes or a no?"
Virgil rolls his eyes again. Roman smiles. Roman leaned in and kisses Virgil, but pulled back quickly. Virgils face flushed again.
"So you do like me!," Roman smiled," Good."
Roman kisses Virgil once more, but this time Virgil kisses back.
