  All sides had a thing that happened with their eyes. It was a color change depending on what emotion they feel.

  For Virgil, his change based on when he has an anxiety or panic attack. If he doesn't mention it, the darker the shade. It turns into a purple for a recent panic attack, magenta for an upcoming panic attack. Indigo for a recent anxiety attack and Navy Blue for an upcoming anxiety attack.

  For Roman, his changed based on his status of a crush. If Thomas was talking to a crush, his eyes would change into all sorts of shades of pink, for himself when he is talking to his crush, his eyes shift slowly into a light red.

  Patton has almost any feeling when he is feeling it. He learned to control it a bit but otherwise can't and his eyes will turn the corresponding colors for emotions.

  Logan has the whole range of colors and emotions. He learned to control his eye color, but it only changes when he doesn't talk about his feelings. Like if he is angry and nobody is listening to him, his eyes turn deep red. And when he is alone in his room and feeling happy, his eyes turn into a light yellow.

  Another thing, when they were strongly feeling said feeling, they can't block the color that floods to their eyes.

  The sides have never seen Logan's eyes change color. Maybe a slightly lighter brown but nothing other than that. One day, Thomas was going through some huge mood swings from lack of sleep.

  Patton was the first to appear, "I'm fine, Roman!" He called as Roman appeared with Virgil. Patton asked if they were having any weird mood swings, they both said no. Patton's eyes widened when he realised the side who they didn't call.

"Logan!" They all called into the empty space where Logan would stand. When the normally calm person appeared Happy and his eyes where pink. Roman realised what it meant but it was too late.

"Isn't Patton great?" Logan had bursted into the somewhat quiet room. Patton was confused and so was Virgil.

  Thomas and Logan both suddenly became sad as if they remembered a relative dying or a relationship failing. Thomas stumbled to the couch and crumpled up, but Logan instantly went to Patton.

  Patton, of course, caught him. Patton quickly told Roman and Virgil to watch Thomas while he took care of Logan. They nodded as Patton went to his room with Logan.

  Logan was crying by the time they got there. He clutched Patton's shirt and mumbled about a nightmare in which all the sides died. Patton tilted Logan's head to face him and saw Logan's eyes a deep blue. Patton cuddled Logan, preparing for another mood swing.

  Logan suddenly became scared of everything, and anything. It was like his hearing ability was turned up. He curled even more into Patton and begged him to protect him from the "Monsters". Patton was confused until shadowy figures appeared at the end of the bed. It was mumbling Logan's fears in deep detail. "As he turned away in disgust and told you he hated you with every inch of his being" the monster mumbled.

  Patton set Logan aside and stood up to the monster and splashed water on it, melting it like a witch from The Wizard Of Oz. Logan smiled wider than anyone ever had seen. Logan began talking about fun facts he had heard on the internet and his eyes shifted from a deep purple to a light yellow.

  Throughout the day, Logan's eyes changed to a rainbow of colors, but he never felt anger when Patton was near. By the end of the day, ha was really tired. He fell asleep on Patton and cuddled him. He kept mumbling about Patton and random facts about him.

(the next day)

  Logan had woken up late in the day. At 12 PM, he was downstairs waiting for Patton to finish making breakfast. Once he did, Patton called down the sides to eat. Remus and Emile ate at the island, Deceit and Remy stood up and the four main sides sat at the dining table.

  The topic quickly went to how Logan was acting yesterday. They all talked about how he acted during their turn of watching him.

  With Roman, he talked about Patton nonstop. Or he was angry at Roman for bringing up a time when he hurt Patton or Sad when he heard a story about Patton being sad.

  With Virgil, he was like a little kid. If he wasn't scared, he was energetic, if not that then he was happy and talking about ways to help Virgil sleep and stuff like that.

  With Remy and Deceit, he asked a lot of questions. Or he was a bit sleepy, but not enough to fall asleep.

  With Emile, he only named facts either about mental health or kittens. Why kittens? Nobody knows.

  With Remus, he named weird facts along the lines of what Remus does. Among those would be about death comparisons and animal facts.

  But with Patton, he experienced almost every emotion except anger. It was weird, he got a bit angry at everyone, except Patton. He never yelled at him the whole day of mood swings.

  Logan then remembered all his actions now from yesterday and why. He began explaining that the mood swings might be different depending on the person watching them. Logan then accidentally said, "I didn't get mad at Patton, because I didn't want to upset him. It would upset me if I was the one who made him upset," as his eyes turned pink.

  Patton blushed heavily along with Logan as the latter realised what he said. Roman was sick of this and pushed their heads close together with Virgil's help. The two sides then kissed as everyone cheered, and secretly handed eachother money.
