It all started in class

specifically English class. It was the last day of high school and everyone was just watching a movie, however there was a little more going on during that movie inside of the classroom. During the movie Remy snow had texted Janus heart daring him to play the nervous game with him (basically it's that game where you place your hand on someone's thigh and move it upward slowly until the person gets nervous). So during the movie it looks like Janus was being a paranoid idiot while Remy was probably looking at his phone. At one point though things took a turn for the more chaotic side when Janus quickly moved Remy's hand to a more appropriate place, The reasoning being the biggest homophobe in the school had entered the class finally. Jessica Franklin, as of entering the classroom, saw Janus move his hand away from Remy's, whose hand was currently on his shoulder. 

At seeing with Jessica thought it would be a great idea to make life miserable one last time for the teenager " and why would you move the most popular boy's hand on your shoulder you gay freak? He'll never love you, you know. So why are you doing something so stupid and unnatural?" Some of the students in the class giggled at her comment while others were annoyed, however a very different reaction happened with Janus. As he just stood up and walked out of the classroom quickly, tears were visibly forming when he was walking out. " really, you've already made life a living hell for him right now, do you really feel the need to put others down because you lack self-confidence and you are that insecure of your own body, I get it, you have a crush on me. However even if I was straight I still wouldn't date you" Remy said, saying " yes I am coming out right now that I am gay" exiting in the classroom to find the boy he actually liked.

After a while of walking there were soft sobs coming from one of the men's restrooms. Assuming it was Janus, Remy quietly open the door and open the stall it was coming from, seeing the smaller boy trying to hide bruises with the jacket he normally wears. At seeing the injuries on Janus, Remy carefully knelt down and hugged him, letting Janus cry on him. Remy gently rubbed Janus's back, placing the smaller boy on his lap. It was a normal thing Remy would do when comforting others, but he partly did it in a more protective way now.

About two hours later, Jessica had entered the bathroom and decided to blackmail Janus with a Picture of Remy comforting him. As she snickered to herself while leaving the bathroom quietly, her phone buzzed from a text her best friend sent " why the fuck did you have to be a bitch to him like that, if you keep this shit up I'm going to have to cut contact with you, the only reason you have very few friends left is because you've driven them all way with your nasty personality, this time was the last straw for Candace and Jeremy. You offended them both, get your act together before you lose all your friends"

Jessica stared at her phone for a bit before deciding later on to give Janus a peice of her mind. She closed her phone and headed back to class, meanwhile in the bathroom, Remy was gently rubbing Janus's back. It's now or never Remy though, gently moving Janus's head to look at him in the eyes "I'm not gonna pry into what these bruises are about, I'm pretty sure it's more of a sensitive topic you wouldn't want to discuss, but just know that I'll always be here for you. No matter what anyone says. But if you need anything, just text me cutie" Remy said, gently kissing Janus's forehead. Janus was both blushing and crying at the same time, but had calmed down at this point. "I- I don't wanna go back home..... c-can I stay with you over the summer?" Janus asked, scared of even his parents seeing him, and to the reptile surprise, Remy nodded. With this confrontation Janus nuzzled Remy softly and sighed " your the best, you know that coffee addict?" " I do, cutie"

About 45 minutes later, the two walked out of the bathroom together, Janus clinging to Remy's arm as they entered the classroom, it was kind of obvious to everyone that the popular boy in the school I had finally gotten a boyfriend. one of the students, Patton snow, said "I knew my brother was gay, but I didn't think it would take him that long to find a boyfriend, I expected like halfway through the year for you to find someone rem." add this statement students were happy in the class, all except Jessica, who smirked, knowing full well she had power over Janice, but she would never get to use this power, as her parents had decided to move to Los Angeles.

As for Janus and Remy, they stayed together throughout the times of sand, it was true that they had found their soulmates in high school, and The rest is all up to history
